27 Year Old From Huron East Arrested #WaitInTheTruck

(HURON EAST, ON) – On June 7th, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Municipality of Huron East.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed criminal acts against their partner.

A 27-year-old individual from Huron East has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal,

–      Mischief – Domestic – (two counts).

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 7th, 2025.

Officer Brian SUKHRAM Arrested #FilmThePolice #FTP

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Toronto Police Service (TPS) member in relation to an on-duty incident.

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, TPS Professional Standards Unit began an investigation into allegations of breach of trust, obstruction of justice and theft involving a TPS officer. On Monday, January 27, 2025, TPS requested that the OPP assume responsibility for the investigation.

On Monday, June 23, 2025, as a result of the investigation, Brian SUKHRAM, age 38 of Brampton, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Breach of trust, section 122

·      Obstruct justice, section 139

·      Theft over $5,000, section 334(a)

·      Theft under $5,000, section 334(b) 

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The ongoing investigation is being conducted under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch. Questions related to the employment status of the accused should be directed to TPS. Donald MCLEAN – Drunk Driving

(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) -A traffic complaint resulted in a driver charged with impaired.

On Saturday, June 21,2025 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded a traffic complaint on Highway 11 in Temiskaming Shores regarding a possible impaired driver. 

Officers located the vehicle on Highway 11 and conducted a traffic stop near Bedard Drive. Following an investigation, the driver was arrested and transported to the Englehart detachment for further testing. The vehicle was towed and impounded. 

Donald MCLEAN, 64 years-of-age of Charlton, was charged with: 

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol 

 The accused received a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury, on Tuesday July 15, 2025.

Paramjit WALIA – Drunk Driving

 (EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment responded to a traffic complaint, resulting in one person being charged with impaired driving.

On June 23, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of Oxford OPP were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Oxford Road 4 in East Zorra- Tavistock Township.  

As a result of the investigation, Paramjit WALIA, a 55-year-old resident of Woodstock, has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus
  • Dangerous Operation

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on July 29, 2025.

19 Year Old Facing Drunk Driving Charge

(WEST PERTH, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual with multiple offences during a RIDE program in the Municipality of West Perth.

On June 23, 2025 shortly after 11:00 p.m. the Perth County OPP were conducting a RIDE program at the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 20 when they observed a vehicle attempting to avoid police.

The vehicle was stopped and as a result, 19-year-old Riya BHATT of Brampton was charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while Impaired, Contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Operation while Impaired – Over 80, Contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Novice Driver B.A.C above zero, Contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Care or Control of a Vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available, Contrary to the Cannabis Control Act 2017.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Stratford on August 11, 2025.

Ryan SPROULE – Drunk Driving

(LENNOX AND ADDINGTON COUNTY, ON) – Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two people with impaired driving related charges over the weekend.

On Friday, June 20, 2025, just before 7:00 p.m., L&A County OPP members were advised of a motor vehicle collision involving a vehicle that struck a guardrail on the 401 Highway westbound then failed to stop at the scene. The vehicle was located at a nearby carpool lot and the driver was arrested.

Ryan SPROULE, a 39-year-old from Odessa, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol
  • Dangerous driving

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on July 8, 2025. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, just after 1:00 p.m., L&A County OPP was called by a member of the public regarding a possible impaired driver on County Road 2 in Loyalist Township. Police stopped the vehicle and the driver was arrested.  

A 17-year-old from Newburgh, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Youth Court of Justice in Greater Napanee at a later date. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.

Michael BRENNAN Was Arrested

(WASAGA BEACH, ON) – The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual with impaired driving related charges after an officer stopped a vehicle due to the driver seen using their cellphone.

On June 21, 2025, shortly after 12:30 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers were conducting traffic enforcement on Mosley Street at 18th Street in the town of Wasaga Beach. Officers stopped a vehicle after the driver was seen using their cellphone. During the interaction, officers formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to an arrest. As a result of the investigation, Michael BRENNAN, 45-year-old of Elmvale, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

·      Adult Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

·      Adult Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs

·      Adult Operation while Prohibited under the Criminal Code

·      Adult Drive – Handheld Communication Device (HTA)

·      Adult Driving Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor (LLCA)

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Collingwood on August 19, 2025, to answer to the charges.

Stolen Vehicles Recoverd – Jason BESTER Arrested

(BROCKTON, ON) – On June 11, 2025, at approximately 6:36 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter to a residence in the area of McGivern Street West and Griffith Street, Municipality of Brockton.

Officers attended the location and discovered that individual(s) had broken into the garage of the residence and stole two off-road vehicles; a Polaris ATV and a KTM dirt bike.

On June 22, 2025, an officer on patrol located the stolen dirt bike at an address along Concession 2 SDR in the Municipality of Brockton. An individual was taken into custody and the dirt bike was recovered.

Jason BESTER, 47-years-old, of the Municipality of Brockton has been charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime, CC 354(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear in the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on July 16, 2025, to answer to the charge.

Police are still searching for the following outstanding vehicle:

  • White 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570 all-terrain vehicle (ATV), bearing Ontario plate #6ZP65

40 Year Old Dead, 10 Year Old Serious Injured

(MALLORYTOWN, ON) – The Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a death that occurred at a campground.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, shortly after 6:00 a.m., Leeds OPP received reports that a large tree had fallen on a vehicle and tent. Officers, accompanied by Leeds Grenville Paramedic Services and the Front of Yonge Fire Department, attended and found a male in his 40’s deceased in the tent. The male was from Ottawa, and was accompanied by his 10-year-old child, who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A postmortem examination will be conducted. Leeds OPP is continuing their investigation in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner.

Dustin ISAAC – Drunk Driving

(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) – One individual has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in St. Clair Township.

On June 22, 2025, just before 2:00 a.m., while conducting general patrol, a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 40, south of Bentpath Line, St. Clair Township.

As a result of the investigation, Dustin ISAAC, 40-year-old of Wallaceburg, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offence:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on August 5, 2025.

Additionally, a passenger in the vehicle, a 34-year-old of Sarnia, was charged under the Liquor Licence and Control Act with:

  • Having liquor in open container in unauthorized place

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – A visitor to Sandbanks Provincial Park has been charged with impaired driving.

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., officers with the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the park. Park Wardens had initiated a traffic stop, suspecting that a driver was impaired.

Officers arrived and utilized an approved roadside alcohol screening device on the driver. The male was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Matthew BOUMAN Was Arrested

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – A RIDE (Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere) program at Sandbanks Provincial Park has led to an arrest.

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, shortly before 7:00 p.m., officers with the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) had set up a RIDE program on County Road 12 near County Road 18.

Officers spotted a vehicle approaching them, but then saw it turn and speed away. An officer followed the car and conducted a traffic stop nearby.

An approved roadside alcohol screening device was utilized, and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Matthew BOUMAN, age 44 of Loyalist Township, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on July 9, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

 (TILLSONBURG, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment responded to a traffic complaint, resulting in one person being charged with impaired driving.

On June 22, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of Oxford OPP were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Dogwood Drive in the Town of Tillsonburg.

As a result of the investigation, Preston PARKINS, an 18-year-old resident of the Town of Tillsonburg, has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus
  • Operate Vehicle with Open Container of Alcohol
  • Novice Driver BAC Above Zero

Christopher MILARCHUK – Assault

(PEMBROKE, ON) – One person has been arrested and charged with assault after a late evening dispute.

On June 22, 2025, shortly before 10:00 p.m., members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault on Victoria Street in the city of Pembroke. The victim was taken to hospital by paramedics with minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, 54-year-old Christopher MILARCHUK of Pembroke has been charged with the Criminal Code offence of assault.

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Pembroke on July 28, 2025.
