Alyssa JACK Facing Numerous Charges

(KENORA, ON) – Members of the Kenora OPP have made an arrest for impaired driving following a report of a theft of a motor vehicle on Saturday afternoon.

On September 13, 2025, shortly before 5:00 p.m., members of the Treaty Three Police Service (T3PS) received a report of a stolen motor vehicle, with a driver who was suspected to be impaired. With the assistance of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), police located the motor vehicle on Highway 71, which then fled from police. A tire deflation device (TDD) was deployed successfully. The subject fled on foot and was located shortly after with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit. 

Police located the driver and investigation determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the Kenora Detachment where additional breath testing was completed.    

Alyssa JACK, 21-years-old, from Whitefish Bay First Nation, Ontario has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence and Control Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·      Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

·      Flight from peace officer

·      Dangerous Operation

·      Driving while under suspension

·      Driving a motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on September 16,2025.

BOLO Stolen Mini Bike

(MEAFORD ON) – The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the theft of a mini bike from a location on Story Book Park Road in the Municipality of Meaford.

The incident occurred on September 15, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The stolen vehicle is a 1974 Honda Z50 Mini Bike, described as blue in colour with yellow decals, a black seat, and chrome fenders. The letters “DD” are etched under the front fender. The mini bike did not have a licence plate attached.

Timothy BELMORE – Drunk Driving

(ESSEX, ON) – On September 13, 2025, at approximately 11:12 p.m., members of the Essex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment received a report of a single motorcycle collision with two occupants on Fairview Avenue West in the Town of Essex.

Officers arrived on scene with Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Upon speaking to the driver, officers observed signs of impairment. The driver and passenger were transported to local hospital with minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Timothy BELMORE, 42-years-old, of Kingsville, was charged with:

•Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

•Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),

The accused is scheduled to appear on September 30, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.

The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and a 7-day vehicle impoundment as per statute.

19 & 25 Year Old Arrested – Stolen Vehicle & Firearm Recovered

Waterloo Regional Police arrest two males after locating a stolen vehicle and loaded firearm in Waterloo.

On September 13, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers on proactive patrol located a stolen vehicle in the area of King Street North and Erb Street East. 

Through the investigation, officers determined that the vehicle’s occupants had left the area. Two male suspects were located a short distance away and were both arrested.

A loaded firearm and ammunition were located and seized as part of the investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old Brampton male and a 25-year-old Toronto male, have been charged with the following: 

•    Possession of stolen property over $5,000
•    Unauthorized possession of a firearm 
•    Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm 
•    Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition 
•    Careless storage of firearm 
•    Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose 
•    Possession of automobile master key 

Both males were held for a bail hearing.

Shots Fired – Home Invasion

(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Oneida Nation Police investigating a shooting incident on Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.

On September 14, 2025, at 12:59 a.m., members of the Oneida Nation Police, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Police, Munsee-Delaware First Nation Police and Middlesex County OPP were dispatched to Oneida Road, Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation for the report of a break and enter, not Ballpark Road as initially reported.

Officers arrived on scene and located an individual that had suffered a gunshot wound. They were subsequently transported to hospital by Oneida Nation Paramedic Service to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A 26-year-old of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation has been taken into custody.

The Middlesex OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate this incident.

Drug Bust – Tyler MARION & Kelly CHARTRAND

(DRYDEN, ON) – An investigation led by the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from members of the Dryden OPP detachment has led to charges being laid against two individuals.  

On September 9, 2025, just after 2:30 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Van Horne Avenue, in the City of Dryden. The investigation resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine and fentanyl, as well as Canadian currency and further evidence of drug trafficking.

As a result of the investigation, Kelly CHARTRAND, 40-years-old, of Dryden, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code with the following offences:

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine 

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl

·        Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

CHARTRAND has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on October 6, 2025.

Additionally, Tyler MARION, 40-years-old, of Thunder Bay, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code with the following offences:

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

·        Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl

·        Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

·        Personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice

·        Operation while impaired

·        Failure or refusal to comply with demand

MARION has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 12, 2025.

Shirzad AJIR – Sexual Assault

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Individual charged after sex assault investigation in Middlesex Centre.

On August 19, 2025, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Middlesex Centre for the report of a sex assault.

The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit assisted with the investigation.

The victim and accused were known to each other.

As a result, Shirzad AJIR a 47-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Sexual Exploitation

·      Sexual Assault

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 3, 2025.

It is suspected there may be more victims.

21 Year Old Arrested After Pedestrian Incident

(BROCKTON, ON) – On March 7, 2025, at approximately 7:50 a.m., the South Bruce and Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with the Arran-Elderslie Fire Department, and Bruce County Paramedic Services responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on the Grey Bruce Line between Concession 2 and Concession 4, Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

A 28-year-old pedestrian from Aurora was transported to a trauma centre with life threatening injuries.

After a thorough investigation by the South Bruce OPP, West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team, with assistance from the Ministry of Labour, a 21-year-old resident of Owen Sound has been charged with:

  • Careless driving causing bodily harm, HTA 130(3)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Provincial Offences Court on October 7, 2025, to answer to the charge.

32 Year Old from Kincardine Arrested – Details Released

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On September 11, 2025, at approximately 11:10 p.m., a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped to check a vehicle on Queen Street in the Municipality of Kincardine after observing a Highway Traffic Act violation.

The investigating officer spoke with the driver and detected signs of impairment. They were placed under arrest and transported to the South Bruce OPP detachment for further testing.

Ryan HOOVER, 32-years-old, resident of Kincardine, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b)
  • Red light – proceed before green, HTA 144(18)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on October 22, 2025, to answer to the charge.

Harriston Repeat Offender Connor WOODCOCK Arrested For Assault #3Strikes

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – An individual is facing charges in connection with an altercation that occurred in Erin.

On September 13, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to the report of a physical dispute between two individuals at a residence on Spiers Road in Erin.

Connor WOODCOCK, a 20-year-old from Harriston, is charged with:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Breach of Probation Order

The victim sustained major-life-threatening injuries and was transferred by Air Ambulance to a trauma centre.

The accused was held for bail and further scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on October 3, 2025.

29 Year Old From Huron East Arrested – Details Released

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Huron East resident with an Impaired driving offence following a traffic stop in Seaforth, Municipality of Huron East on August 14th, 2025. 

Just before 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, Huron County OPP officers stopped a vehicle after police received traffic complaints of the same vehicle speeding in Seaforth. Officers spoke to the driver who was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton where they provided breath samples before a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician. Breath samples were provided to police which resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Nicholas KNELSEN, 29 years of age from Huron East has been charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Over 80.

The accused was additionally charged with two offences found in the Highway Traffic Act.

The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on Sep 08, 2025.
