Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm – George SPADE Arrested

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Members of the Thunder Bay Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into an allegation of a sexual assault that occurred in Collins First Nation between 1978 and 1988.

As a result of this investigation, George SPADE, 61-years-old of Thunder Bay, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:

·       Gross Indecency

·       Indecent Assault on Female

·       Sexual Assault

·       Sexual Assault cause bodily harm

Break & Enter, Sexual Assault With Weapon

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after a break and enter and sexual assault with a weapon in Cambridge.

On March 11, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., police responded to reports of a sexual assault at a business in the area of Eagle Street North and Hespeler Road.

An unknown male gained entry through a drive-thru window and sexually assaulted two employees who were in the business at the time. The male used a weapon during the altercation which resulted in the employees suffering minor non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers quickly responded to the location where the male was located and arrested.

The 32-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with multiple offences including sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, and break enter.

The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.

Jeffrey BATTLE – Sexual Assault

In January of 2025, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit (SAU) began an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in the City of St. Catharines.

Investigation revealed that a female and male met via an online dating app. 

As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, Jeffrey BATTLE (20 years) of St. Catharines, was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:

–          Sexual Assault

–          Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke

Sexual Assault With Weapon – Brice PIYAU Arrested

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit has charged a man following an investigation that began in October 2024.

Investigators believe that there may be other victims.

The accused approaches post-secondary international students with the ruse to help them with their immigration process.

Yesterday, Brice PIYAU, 47 years old from Ottawa, was arrested and charged with:

  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual assault with a weapon
  • Sexual assault with threats
  • Forcible confinement
  • Fraud under $5000

Police Officer Charged With Sexual Assault Gets Paid Vacation @ Taxpayers Expense – Name Released #FilmThePolice #FTP

A member of the Kingston Police has been charged by the Durham Regional Police Service after they investigated the actions of the officer which occurred while they were off duty.
 
On February 20, 2025, Sgt. Jason Alblas was charged with one count of sexual assault in relation to an incident that occurred while off duty in August of 2024.
 
The Kingston Police were first made aware of the incident in October 2024, and the Durham Regional Police Service were contacted and commenced an independent investigation into the incident. The officer was suspended from duty under The Community Safety and Policing Act. 
 
The officer was arrested in Napanee, ON by the Durham Regional Police Service and was released with a future court date. The officer is suspended without pay.

“Massage” Therapist Arrested For Sexual Assault

A 59-year-old registered massage therapist (RMT) has been charged with sexual assault.

On Monday, January 27, 2025, the suspect was employed as an RMT at a Physiotherapy and Wellness Clinic located in the area of Wilson Road North and Taunton Road East in Oshawa. During a massage, the suspect touched the victim inappropriately. The suspect was arrested and charged on February 17, 2025.

Franklin JIMENEZ, age 59, of Oshawa is charged with: Sexual Assault.

He was released on an Undertaking.

JIMENEZ has worked as an RMT for over 20 years in a number of clinics across Durham and the Greater Toronto Area.  He is no longer employed at the Wilson Road North and Taunton Road East location.

Police are concerned there may be more victims.

Nurse Arrested After Sexual Assault at Long-Term Care Home

A 75-year-old registered nurse has been arrested and charged with sexual assault at a long-term care home.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the suspect was employed as a nurse at Fosterbrooke Long-Term Care Home located at 330 King Avenue West in Newcastle. During his shift, the suspect was located in the room of a resident where he was touching the victim inappropriately.

Eliezer MAGDAMO, age 75, of Oshawa is charged with: Sexual Assault.

He was released on an Undertaking.

MAGDAMO previously worked at the following facilities (with approximate years of employment):

Whitby Mental Health Centre (now known as Ontario Shores) – 1980-2010

Altima Long-Term Care (now known as Glen Rouge Community/Long-Term Care) – 2011-2015

Fosterbrooke Long-Term Care – 2011 – 2024

Do You Recognize This Sexual Assault Suspect?

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigation Section is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a sexual assault in the 500 block of Somerset Street West on December 29, 2024.

At approximately 3:10 p.m., the victim was riding an OC Transpo bus when the suspect approached them and began an interaction. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim.

Violent Sexual Assault – Evan Derek SWEET Wanted By Police

Police are searching for a male suspect after a violent sexual assault in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at approximately 11:05 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to reports of a sexual assault at an apartment complex in the area of St. Lawrence Street and Simcoe Street South.  A male armed with a knife sexually assaulted a female in the lobby of the building.  Both the suspect and victim left the area prior to police arrival.

Officers searched the area and located the victim a short distance away suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, at approximately 1:10 p.m., the suspect was seen in the area of Harwood Avenue South and Hunt Street, in Ajax, where it is believed he sexually assaulted a second victim.

Police are issuing a public safety warning for this Evan Derek SWEET. If you see him, please do not approach and immediately call 911.

He is described as: male, White, approximately 25-30 years-old, with a heavy build, and blonde/orange hair.

Evan Derek SWEET, age 28 of No Fixed Address is wanted for: Robbery, Sexual Assault, and Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

Youth Sexually Assaulted – One Arrested


Investigators with the York Regional Police Human Trafficking Unit have charged a Vaughan man after an investigation into the trafficking of a youth in the City of Vaughan.

On December 26, 2024 at approximately 2:50 p.m., officers attended a residence in the area of Steeles Avenue and Bathurst Street for a Check Welfare call. On scene, officers learned that the victim, a youth, was being held against her will, had been sexually assaulted and was being trafficked for a sexual purpose.

The suspect met the victim at a shopping centre two months prior and began communicating with her on social media. The suspect lured the victim to his residence where he sexually and physically assaulted her. The suspect took pornographic photos of the victim in order to advertise sexual services and then trafficked her for this purpose.

York Regional Police is releasing an image of the suspect as investigators believe there are additional victims and are encouraging them to come forward. A photo of the suspect and a list of charges can be found found HERE.

A sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature. York Regional Police encourages victims to report incidents of sexual assault, including historical offences. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence.

Child Sexually Assault – MAHON Charged

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) – On December 17, 2024, the Muskoka Crime Unit, with the assistance of the OPP’s Forensic Interview Team and Forensic Sketch Artist, made an arrest in this historic sexual assault investigation.

Kelly MAHON (age 59) of Huntsville was arrested and charged with:

·      Sexual Assault with a weapon on a Person under 16 years

·      Sexual Interference

·      Uttering threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm

The Muskoka Crime Unit continued their investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in July 2015 in the Town of Huntsville Ontario, after the victim, who was seven years old at the time of the offense, came forward in October of 2023.

Joseph CARUSO Facing Sexual Assault Charges

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with an ongoing historical sexual assault investigation.

On November 25, 2024, the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating a report of a series of sexual assault incidents that took place between May 2024 and November 2024 at a Talbot Street address.

As a result, one individual was taken into custody without incident.

31-year-old Joseph CARUSO of Cayuga has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Sexual Assault (three counts)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.

The Haldimand County OPP Major Crime Unit continues to investigate, as investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Haldimand OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

David GRAINGER Arrested For Sexual Assault

(LAKESHORE, ON) – In June 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Essex County Detachment Crime Unit began an investigation from a report of sexual assaults that occurred between 2003 and 2010.

On July 9, 2024, one individual was taken into custody and charged without incident.

On November 5, 2024, a second victim had come forward.

As a result of the investigation, on November 25, 2024, 79-year-old David GRAINGER of Lakeshore has been charged with:

·        Sexual Interference S.151 CC,

·        Invitation to Sexual Touching S.152 CC,

·        Sexual assault S.271 CC

The accused was released from custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on December 18, 2024.

Members of the Essex County OPP Crime Unit are continuing to investigate as it is believed that there may be more victims. If anyone has any information, they are being asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.

Aaron MITRO – Sexual Assault, Etc.

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with an ongoing historical sexual assault investigation.

At approximately 8:35 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment began investigating a report of a sexual assault that took place between 2016 and 2019 at a Norfolk County address.

As a result, one individual was taken into custody without incident.

46-year-old Aaron MITRO of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Sexual assault,
  • Sexual interference,
  • Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age.

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Friday, November 22, 2024.

The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate, as investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
