Repeat Offender Pervert Alert – Garry FISHER Arrested For Child Pornography,

A male has been arrested for sexual assault and breaching his release order.

On Monday, January 1, 2024, the accused began to contact the victim while on a no contact order, and attempted to intimidate her into dropping the charges.  The victim came forward to police, who commenced a secondary investigation, after she detailed a sexual assault by the suspect. 

On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, members of the East Division Criminal Investigations Branch, with assistance from members of the Internet and Child Exploitation Unit and E-Crimes Unit attended a residential address in Lansdowne to execute a search warrant.  The suspect was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident. 

Numerous electronics were located and seized.

Investigators have concerns there may be more victims and are releasing a photo of the accused (attached).

Garry FISHER, age 60 from Lansdowne is charged with 23 offences including: Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference with Person Under 16, Luring a Person Under 16, Possession of Child Pornography, Access Child Pornography, Criminal Harassment, Make Indecent Telecommunications, Obstruct Justice, Uttering Threats x6, and Fail to Comply with Release Order x6.

He was held for a bail hearing.

Pervert Alert: Education Assistant Cameron Ivens Arrested For Child Porn, Sexual Assault – Police Fear More Victims

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid charges in relation to an Internet Child Exploitation investigation involving a former Educational Assistant previously employed by the Halton District School Board.

On March 7, 2024, Cameron Ivens (42) of Milton was arrested.

He has been charged with the following:

  • Make Child Pornography (15 Counts)
  • Voyeurism (14 Counts)
  • Sexual Assault (6 Counts)
  • Possession of Child Pornography (3 Counts)
  • Sexual Interference (3 Counts)
  • Exposure to Person Under 16 Years (2 Counts)
  • Assault (2 Counts)
  • Transmit Child Pornography
  • Access Child Pornography
  • Invitation to Sexual Touching

Ivens is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The accused was previously employed as an Educational Assistant and worked at the following schools:

  • P.L Robertson Public School in Milton from February 2014 – October 2014
  • Munns Public School in Oakville from October 2014 – November 2015
  • Emily Carr Public School in Oakville from November 2015 – August 2019
  • Viola Desmond Public School in Milton from September 2019 – December 2019

The accused also worked at Rick Imus Music Studio in Milton around 2008 for one year.  He established his own company, Pitch Perfect Piano Service, in 2012 to tune, regulate and rebuild pianos.  Around 2015 the accused also taught private music lessons to children in their homes.

In order to protect the identity of the victims, police cannot provide further details surrounding the nature of this investigation.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and a photo of the accused is attached to this media release. Anyone with information, or anyone who has been victimized by the accused is asked to contact D/Cst. Pervert Alert – Jeffrey BELANGER – Child Pornography

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested a Powassan resident following a child sexual exploitation investigation. 

A search warrant was executed at a residence in Powassan by the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Digital Forensics Unit. Several electronic devices were seized.

As a result of the investigation, Jeffrey BELANGER, 32 years of age, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of Child Pornography, section 163.1(4) – two counts
  • Making Child Pornography Available, section 163.1(3) – two counts
  • Make Child Pornography, section 163.1(2)

The accused is scheduled to appear on February 20, 2024, for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay.

Children are our most vulnerable and precious members of society. Many victims of child sexual abuse are so young that they cannot tell their story. Every time an image or video depicting that abuse is shared, that child is re-victimized.

The OPP will continue to aggressively identify and pursue individuals who use technology to exploit children. Pervert Alert – Andrew BERTAN Arrested For Child Pornography

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested an Oro-Medonte resident following a child sexual exploitation investigation. 

A search warrant was executed at a residence by the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, with the assistance of the Orillia OPP Detachment, the Digital Forensics Unit and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Several electronic devices were seized.

Andrew BERTAN, 55 years of age, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of child pornography, section 163.1(4) – two counts
  • Making Child Pornography available, section 163.1(3)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia on February 20, 2024.
