(BANCROFT, ON) – The Bancroft Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is warning the public about an aggressive canine-type animal on Bradshaw Road in The Town of Bancroft.
The OPP is investigating a report of an unprovoked attack on a child on the afternoon of March 26, 2024. The child was airlifted with non-life-threating injuries.
The canine-type animal is described as black and grey, similar looking to a German Shepard or Huskey.
Police are asking members of the public to use caution in the area and report any sightings to police. If it is an emergency, please call using 9-1-1.
(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has made an arrest after a theft of a package was reported in Pembroke.
The incident took place on the afternoon of March 21, 2024, when a delivered package was stolen from the porch of a residence in east end Pembroke. The homeowner was notified of the incident by their security camera and promptly reported the matter to police. Officers identified the individual and made an arrest later that day.
As a result, 43-year-old Chad Edward CORRIN of no fixed address has been charged with one count of theft under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on April 22, 2024.
(KILLALOE) – In November of 2022, the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into several fraud and theft related incidents that occurred in the Township of Madawaska Valley.
An investigation into these incidents led by the Renfrew County Crime Unit, has resulted in the arrest of one individual and subsequent criminal charges laid.On March 26, 2024, 43-year-old Amanda FOY of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards Township was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:· Theft over $5000, (eleven counts),· Theft under $5000, (three counts),· Fraud under $5000, (nine counts),· Possession of proceeds of crime over $5000,· Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000,· Laundering proceeds of crime; and,· Forgery.The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on May 1, 2024, Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke. (SOUTHGATE, ON) – On February 10th, 2024, at 9:48 a.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a stolen Case International Combine “header” valued at over $20,000 in the Township of Southgate.
Kevin Innis, 40 years of age from Melancthon was charged with the following:
· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
· Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
· Fail to apply for permit on becoming an owner

The Grey Bruce and Dufferin County CSCU attended a business on 260 Sideroad in Melacthon. (KILLALOE, ON) – Police have arrested and charged two individuals with criminal offences related to a trespass incident.
On March 24, 2024, just after 2:00 a.m., members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a trespass to property call for service at a storage facility on Radar Court in the Township of Bonnechere Valley.
Police located two individuals who were subsequently arrested on scene. As a result of police investigation, 29-year-old Devon KINGSBURY of Pikwakanagan Ontario First Nation has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
· Trespass at night,
· Mischief – interfere with lawful enjoyment of property; and,
· Breach of probation order conditions.
Also charged is 35-year-old Caylah LULOFF of Pikwakanagan Ontario First Nation with the following Criminal Code offences:
· Trespass at night; and,
· Mischief – interfere with lawful enjoyment of property.
Both accused were released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in court on May 1, 2024, Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke

(LENNOX & ADDINGTON COUNTY / FRONTENAC TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the East Region Community Street Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged four people after the execution of two search warrants.
On March 20, 2024, shortly before 8:00 p.m. a search warrant was executed at a residence on Flinton Road in Lennox & Addington County. One person was located in the residence and arrested. Police seized a crossbow, assorted ammunition, and a firearms magazine.
As a result of this investigation, OPP has charged Emily WOODCOCK, age 23, of Arden, Ontario, with:
Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on April 23, 2024.
On March 20, 2024, shortly after 10:00 p.m. a search warrant was executed at a residence on Queen Street in Arden. Three people were located in the residence and arrested. Police seized a long gun, and a crossbow.
As a result of this investigation, OPP has charged Dylan GODFREY-KELLAR, age 28, of Kingston, Ontario, with:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
Fail to comply with release order – other than attend court – two counts

As a result of this investigation, OPP has charged Jeremy TEEPLE, age 46, of Arden, Ontario, with:

(ORANGEVILLE, ON) – As a result of an ongoing police investigation, officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged two individuals connected an ongoing criminal investigation.
On March 21, 2024, members of Dufferin County, Nottawasaga and Central Regional OPP executed a search warrant at an address on Centennial Road in the Town of Orangeville.
Kuldeep OTAL, a 42-year-old from Brampton has been charged with:

Jasvir KHABRA, a 31-year-old from Orangeville has been charged with:

(WHITE RIVER, ON) – A White River resident is facing criminal charges after a domestic dispute. On March 23, 2024, shortly after 12:00 a.m., the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Superior Street in White River.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old person from White River was arrested and charged with:
Spousal Assault
Mischief Under $5,000 – two counts
The accused was held for a bail hearing, and subsequently released. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in May 2024 in Wawa.
Due to the domestic nature of the incident, the name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
(DOURO-DUMMER TOWNSHIP, ON) – A driver has been charged with Impaired driving after their vehicle was stopped for speeding on Highway 28.
On March 24, 2024, at approximately 7:00pm, the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 28 in Douro-Dummer Township. While dealing with the driver, the officer detected an odour of alcohol and made an Approved Screening Device (ASD) demand. The driver provided a sample of his breath and as a result was arrested.
James WILKINSON (age 30) of Selwyn Township, ON, was arrested and charged with:
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on April 30, 2024.

(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called at approximately 1:30pm on March 24, 2024, to investigate a theft of alcohol from a business located in Selwyn Township. The complainant reported that the suspect concealed two bottles of liquor on their person and then left the store making no effort to pay for them.
OPP Officers located the person a short distance away from the store, and based on the description provided from the complainant, were able to identify the suspect and make an arrest.

Chatham-Kent, Ontario: On March 25, 2024 at 8:20 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a robbery on Fairview Line near Communication Road, in Chatham.
Two individuals, wearing disguises and brandishing a weapon, forcefully entered a residence, and demanded money. Varies items were taken by the individuals. The homeowners were not injured in the incident and have been provided with supports.
Officers conducted a perimeter search of the area, utilizing the K9 unit and the drone. The suspects remain outstanding.
The Criminal Investigation Branch is actively investigating the incident and gathering information. We are urging anyone in the area with surveillance cameras to check their footage. At 6:55 a.m., police responded to Morning Glory Lane in Chatham to investigate suspicious activity.
Upon arrival, officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
The 47-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: assault with a weapon, failing to attend court and two counts of uttering threats.

At 3:57 p.m., police began investigating an intimate partner violence investigation in Blenheim. Through investigation officers formed grounds to arrest the man.
At 7:55 p.m., police attended an address on Patteson Avenue in Chatham and located the man.
The 28-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, failing to comply with an undertaking, criminal harassment and two counts of assault.

At 11:05 a.m., police responded to a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham for a theft investigation.
Officers learned the man entered the store, removed items from the shelves and exited without paying. The man was located nearby. The man attempted to flee from custody by pushing the officer.
The 28-year-old Chatham-Kent man was transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: theft, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest.
Woman Arrested for Bail Violations CK24013332
On March 25, 2024, at 11:14 a.m., police began a bail violation investigation in Chatham.
The investigation revealed the woman, who was bound by an undertaking with conditions, contacted a man she was prohibited from contacting. The man was also bound by conditions not to communicate with the woman. Officers contacted the woman who agreed to turn herself in upon returning to the area.
On March 26, 2024, at 2:26 a.m., officers responded to Raleigh Street in Chatham after receiving information the woman entered the home of the man. Police attended in the area and quickly located the woman attempting to flee the area.
The 31-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held pending a bail hearing. The woman currently faces the following charges: two counts of facilitating a breach and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
An adult male and three youth have been arrested after robbing and threatening a male with weapons in Oshawa.
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, at approximately 5:25 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to a robbery-in-progress at an apartment complex near Grenfell Street and Gibb Street. The victim made arrangements to meet with a female. The victim arrived at the agreed upon location and was assaulted by multiple individuals who stole his phone and other personal items. The victim fled the apartment complex and contacted 911. As the victim waited for police in his vehicle, the suspects returned with a bat and hammer and made threats toward the victim. Police arrived on scene and the suspects attempted to flee, however, all suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
Connor HARRISON, age 19 from Whitby is charged with: Robbery, Possess Weapon Dangerous to the Public, and Utter Threats.
A 17-year-old female from Kawartha Lakes is charged with: Robbery, and Mischief Under $5000.
A 17-year-old male from Oshawa is charged with: Robbery.
A 16-year-old female from Oshawa is charged with: Robbery.
All parties were released on an Undertaking.

On March 26, 2024 at approximately 2:30 a.m. a man used a rock to smash through the front bay window of a Cannabis Retail business in Owen Sound. The man entered the store and proceeded to steal property including I Pads. The man climbed back through the window and fled from the area.
Owen Sound Police investigated, and with the assistance of video surveillance footage from the business, were able to identify the suspect based on several recent arrests of the same individual for previous property crimes. Just after 8:30 a.m. a patrolling officer located and arrested the suspect in the area of 16 th Street and 16 th Avenue East. The man proceeded to provide police with a fictitious identity. The man was searched and found in possession of two stolen IPad’s from Cannabis store.
The accused, 29-year-old James FARR, of no fixed address, was charged with Break, Enter and Commit Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Obstructing a Peace Officer. FARR was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
