Dylan KING Was Arrested Again

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a disturbance in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.

Lanark County OPP officers responded to a residence on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, just before 2:30 p.m., after a complaint about a disturbance. Upon police arrival, an individual was taken into custody without incident.

As a result of the investigation Dylan KING, 35-years-old from Perth, has been charged with the following offences:

·        Mischief – destroys property – two counts

·        Mischief under $5000 – two counts

·        Fail to comply with probation

·        Uttering threats

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

17 Year Old Repeat Offender Arrested Again #3Strikes

(MONTAGUE TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with assistance from the OPP Canine unit, has charged a Montague resident with numerous offences.

Lanark County OPP officers began an investigation on Friday, August 15, 2025, just after 11:30 a.m., after receiving a complaint of a dispute at a residence in Montague Township.

As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old was taken into custody without incident on Friday, August 15, 2025, and has been charged with the following offences:

  • Theft under $5000
  • Mischief under $5000
  • Breach of Recognizance
  • Disobeying a court order – two counts

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Youth Court of Justice in Perth on Monday August 18, 2025. The name of the accused will not be released under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and to protect the identity of the victims.

Further investigation resulted with a second 17-year-old being taken into custody from a previous incident on Thursday, August 14, 2025, and they have been charged with the following offences:

·        Mischief

·        Assault

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Youth Court of Justice in Perth on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The name of the accused will not be released under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and to protect the identity of the victims.

20 Year Old Facing Drunk Driving Charge

(DRYDEN, ON) – On August 17th, 2025 at approximately 08:45 p.m., the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle that spun out and hit the ditch on Highway 601 near Morton Road.

The officers attended and demanded a breath sample from the driver into an approved screening device (ASD). The driver participated and registered a FAIL which led to the driver’s arrest & returned to the detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Abby BELL, 20, from Dryden was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on September 22nd, 2025.

Teen Arrested Following Edged Weapon Incident

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – A young person has been charged in connection with an investigation into property damage at a residence in Walsingham.

On Saturday, August 16, 2025, at approximately 3:58 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of property damage on South Street in Walsingham.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction inside a residence, during which one person used an edged weapon to damage property within the home.

As a result, a 15-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose,
  • Mischief under $5,000 – two counts.

The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

Joshua ROBB Facing Numerous Charges

(ETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 15th, 2025 at approximately 08:45 p.m., the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle that was travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 17.

The officers conducted a traffic stop and it was determined that the driver was impaired. The driver was placed under arrest & returned to the detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua ROBB, 31, from Dryden was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs; – Criminal Code
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) – Criminal Code
  • Dangerous operation – Criminal Code
  • Drive motor vehicle -perform stunt-excessive speed – HTA
  • Unsafe move – lane or shoulder – HTA
  • Drive left of centre – approaching crest of grade – HTA
  • Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available – LLCA
  • Fail to have insurance card – CAIA

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on September 15th, 2025.

Amir SHAH – Drunk Driving

(LANARK HIGHLANDS TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Calgary, Alberta resident with impaired driving.

Lanark County OPP observed a vehicle travelling on Highway 7 in Lanark Highlands Township on Saturday, August 16, 2025, just after 8:30 p.m. Officers stopped and investigated the vehicle and took the driver into custody without incident.

As a result of the investigation, Amir SHAH, 40-years-old, of Calgary, Alberta, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, September 22, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Jessica WETHERUP – Assault

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an investigation into a dispute that led to an assault in Walsingham.

On Friday, August 15, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a dispute on Allan Street in Walsingham.

The investigation revealed that two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property, during which one person physically assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, 31-year-old Jessica WETHERUP of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Assault.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Wade LERAT Was Arrested

(DRYDEN, ON) – On August 14th, 2025 at approximately 09:45 a.m., the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a male that was sleeping in a parked and running vehicle on Highway 594, for over 6 hours.  

The officers attended and it was determined that the driver was impaired. The driver was placed under arrest & returned to the detachment where a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) opined that the driver was impaired by drug.

As a result of the investigation, Wade LERAT, 41, from Saskatchewan was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs;

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on September 15th, 2025.

19 Year Old Arrested For Drunk Driving Following Collision

(WIARTON, ON) – A resident of Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation is facing impaired driving-related charges following a single-vehicle collision south of Wiarton.

On August 17, 2025, at approximately 7:22 a.m., members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a white Ford Fusion travelling southbound on Highway 6 toward Wiarton. The vehicle was reportedly driving erratically, entering oncoming lanes and displaying inconsistent speeds. Officers located the vehicle in a ditch just south of Wiarton.

Dove LEVI, 19-years-old, of Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code Offences:

·      Operation while impaired- (80 plus) CC

·      Operation while impaired- alcohol CC

·      Dangerous operation CC

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 11, 2025.

Kyle WOOD – Impaired Operation

(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On August 16, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol duties on Highway 10 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands when they observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.

A traffic stop was initiated, and officers detected signs of impairment from the driver. An Approved Screening Device was administered, resulting in a FAIL. The driver was arrested and transported to the Markdale OPP Detachment for further testing.

Kyle WOOD, 33-years-old, of Grey Highlands, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, and Automobile Insurance Act Offences:

·      Operation while impaired- (80 plus) CC

·      Adult Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit HTA

·      Speeding 1-49 Km/h over posted limit HTA

·      Operate a motor vehicle without insurance CAIA

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 4, 2025.

Domenic BERNARDI – Impaired Operation

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On August 16, 2025, at approximately 1:45 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) along Bruce Road 23, Municipality of Kincardine.

A vehicle entered the area where police then spoke with the driver. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported for further testing.

Domenic BERNARDI, 37-years-old, of New Brunswick, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice on September 24, 2025, to answer to the charge.

William STANFIELD Was Arrested

(SAUBLE BEACH, ON) – On August 16, 2025, at approximately 7:37 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere(R.I.D.E.) program at the intersection of Second Avenue North and Third Avenue North in Sauble Beach.

During the initiative, officers encountered a white BMW enter the RIDE check. Following an interaction with the lone driver, the vehicle fled the scene at a high rate of speed, narrowly missing a uniformed officer.

Police initiated a follow-up investigation and later located the suspect and vehicle at a nearby residence.

William STANFIELD, 59-years-old, of Sauble Beach, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Flight from Peace Officer

·      Dangerous Operation

·      Resist Peace Officer

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 11, 2025.

Adriana QUANN From Kincardine Was Arrested – Details Released

(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Kincardine area resident with several criminal offences following a traffic stop in a “Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere” (R.I.D.E.) check on July 02, 2025, in the Township of North Huron. 

Just after 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 02, 2025, Huron County OPP officers spoke to a vehicle driver at an OPP RIDE check in the village of Whitechurch, North Huron. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton where they underwent testing with an OPP Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) officer.

Adriana QUANN, 36 years of age from Kincardine has been charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs,

–      Possession of a Controlled Substance – (two counts).

The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on August 25, 2025.

26 Year Old Facing Assault & Arson Charges

(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges in an arson investigation in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

On August 14, 2025, at approximately 5:16 a.m., the South Bruce OPP and Arran-Elderslie Fire & Emergency Services attended a residence in Burgoyne for an active structure fire. Officers determined that the fire had been deliberately set by an individual who was still on scene. They were taken into custody without incident.

A 26-year-old female resident of Arran-Elderslie has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Assault with a weapon, CC 267(a) – two counts
  • Arson – disregard for human life, CC 433(a)

The accused was held for a bail hearing on August 14, 2025, and subsequently remanded into custody.

Mount Forest Road Rage – Suspects At Large: Photos Released

(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking public assistance in locating two suspects.

On August 8, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Wellington County OPP received a report of an assault that occurred on Main Street in Mount Forest. The incident stemmed from a road rage confrontation that escalated into a physical altercation involving two unidentified suspects and one victim. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Members of the Wellington County OPP are still investigating the incident and are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying two people of interest and the vehicle involved. 

Suspect #1 is described as:

  • Male
  • East Indian
  • Tanned skin
  • Black short hair
  • Average build
  • White sleeveless shirt with grey pants and black shoes

Suspect #2 is described as:

  • Male
  • East Indian
  • Tanned skin
  • Black short hair
  • Average build
  • Dark coloured shirt, black pants, ball cap and white shoes

Suspects may have been driving a dark coloured 2017 Nissan Sentra.
