Robert TUTTLE Was Arrested

(CALEDON, ON) – Members from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges against an individual following a search warrant.

On August 31, 2025, officers from the Caledon OPP received a report of a stolen utility trailer containing various construction equipment. In the following days, the stolen property was listed for sale on an online classifieds website.

On September 2, 2025, as a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed by the Caledon Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) at a residence in Bolton, where approximately $10,000 (CAD) worth of construction equipment was recovered.

Robert TUTTLE, 47, of Bolton, was charged with:

  • Trafficking in property obtained by crime
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on October 2, 2025, to answer to the charges.

Indignity To Dead Body – Douglas STEVENS

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Further charges have been laid against an individual in connection with an ongoing investigation into thefts from local cemeteries.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged 39-year-old Douglas STEVENS of Oxford County in relation to a theft at the Waterford Greenwood Cemetery.

The following day, investigators with the Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit executed a search warrant on the accused’s vehicle, recovering stolen property, including an urn containing human remains. The investigation has revealed that property stolen from graves was sold for scrap.

As a result, the accused has also been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Indignity to dead body,
  • Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000 (incl. possession with intent to traffic),
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Jayme PARTINGTON Was Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two stolen all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) have been recovered, and one individual has been charged in connection with a stolen property investigation near Tillsonburg.

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at approximately 10:34 a.m., the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Preventing Auto Theft Unit, with support from the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant at a property on Goshen Road, located on the border of Norfolk and Oxford Counties, as part of a stolen property investigation.

During the search of a garage on the property, officers located two Honda ATVs that had previously been reported stolen-one in Norfolk County and the other in Elgin County.

As a result, 37-year-old Jayme PARTINGTON of Elgin County has been charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada – two counts.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Names Released

(CENTRAL ELGIN, ON) – Two people are charged following a traffic stop on Sunset Road in Central Elgin.

On July 23, 2025, at approximately 2:53 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), stopped a motor vehicle on Sunset Road because of a hit on the Automated Licence Plate Recognition system.

Tanya TUCKEY, 44-years-old of London is charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000

·      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (two times)

·      Operation while impaired

·      Failure to comply with undertaking

·      Drive motor vehicle – no licence (Highway Traffic Act)

·      Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor (Liquor Licence Act)

·      Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available (Cannabis Control Act)

Kenneth DALE, 51-years-old of London is charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Possession Property Obtained by Crime over $5000, and

·      Failure to comply with undertaking

As a result of the traffic stop, the Elgin and Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant on an address in London. Tanya TUCKEY is charged with the following additional Criminal Code offences:

·      Possession of Firearm contrary to Prohibition Order (two times)

·      Possession of a Crossbow contrary to Prohibition Order

·      Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

·      Careless Storage of a Firearm and Ammunition

The accused parties were held for bail and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas on the July 24,2025.

Shawn JOLIE Was Arrested – Details Released

(GREY BRUCE, ON)– The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), in collaboration with Dufferin CSCU and the Grey Bruce OPP Crime Unit, has made a third arrest in connection with an ongoing property crime investigation spanning Grey and Dufferin Counties.

This investigation began in early July 2025 following several break-and-enter incidents and reports of stolen property across the region. On July 15, 2025, a stolen Ford F650 U-Haul truck was located in Melancthon Township. On July 16, 2025, two individuals were arrested in Southgate Township following a report of a suspicious vehicle. A search of the truck uncovered tools and items linked to a break and enter in Meaford, as well as break-in instruments. Later that same day, a stolen 18-foot flatbed trailer was seized from a property in Melancthon Township.

On July 17, 2025, police arrested a third individual in relation to this investigation.

Shawn JOLIE, 49-years-old, from Fergus, has been charged with the following criminal code offences:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 (two counts)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (three counts)
  • Possession of Break-In Instruments

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on August 21, 2025.

Mathieu RIENDEAU Was Arrested

(TAY VALLEY TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Quebec resident after recovering a stolen vehicle.

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, just before 3:30 a.m. officers on patrol on Highway 7 in Tay Valley Township had received an Automated Licence Plate Reader (ALPR) notification that a stolen vehicle had been detected. The vehicle stopped in Perth, and further investigation confirmed that the vehicle to be stolen from Collingwood. An individual was taken into custody.

Mathieu RIENDEAU, 38-years-old of Quebec, has been charged with:

·        Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

·        Dangerous operation

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and was remanded to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Tuesday, July 8, 2025

Stolen Motorcycle Recovered – Names Released

(YARKER., ON) – The recovery of a stolen motorcycle in Yarker has resulted in two arrests and a long list of charges in connection with multiple incidents.

On Friday, June 20, 2025, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) were in Yarker on an unrelated mater when they spotted a wanted individual. That person was arrested without incident.

During the arrest, a second person, also known to be wanted, arrived at the location on a motorcycle but attempted to flee. That person was arrested following a brief struggle with officers. It was determined that the motorcycle had earlier been reported stolen.

Jordan ROMBOUGH, age 34 of Stone Mills Township, is charged with:

  • Flight from a peace officer
  • Dangerous operation of a vehicle – four counts
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code – three counts
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Possession of property obtained by crime-over $5000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime-under $5000
  • Failing to comply with a probation order – four counts

This accused was released from custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on July 10, 2025.

Angela REYNOLDS, age 39 of Stone Mills Township was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant, charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

Robin BLUNDELL, age 40 of Stone Mills Township was arrested previously in connection with these incidents and is charged with:

  • Flight from a peace officer
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Using a plate not authorized for a vehicle
  • Possession of property obtained by crime-under $5000
  • Failing to comply with a probation order

This accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on July 8, 2025.

Stolen Vehicles Recoverd – Jason BESTER Arrested

(BROCKTON, ON) – On June 11, 2025, at approximately 6:36 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter to a residence in the area of McGivern Street West and Griffith Street, Municipality of Brockton.

Officers attended the location and discovered that individual(s) had broken into the garage of the residence and stole two off-road vehicles; a Polaris ATV and a KTM dirt bike.

On June 22, 2025, an officer on patrol located the stolen dirt bike at an address along Concession 2 SDR in the Municipality of Brockton. An individual was taken into custody and the dirt bike was recovered.

Jason BESTER, 47-years-old, of the Municipality of Brockton has been charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime, CC 354(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear in the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on July 16, 2025, to answer to the charge.

Police are still searching for the following outstanding vehicle:

  • White 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570 all-terrain vehicle (ATV), bearing Ontario plate #6ZP65

Stolen Backhoe Recovered – Jason DEWSBURY Arrested

(ESSEX COUNTY, ON)- The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marine Unit is investigating a theft after the recovery of a stolen backhoe in the LaSalle Channel of the Detroit River.  

On Tuesday June 3, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m. Essex County OPP Marine Unit was on patrol in the LaSalle Channel on the Detroit River when they observed a 50-foot barge with a backhoe on board. As a vessel inspection was conducted, it was discovered that the backhoe was reported stolen from the Greater Toronto Area, it has an estimated value of $200,000.00.

As a result of the investigation, Jason DEWSBURY, 42 years-of-age of LaSalle has been arrested and charged with:

·        Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada

The accused was released form custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on July 15, 2025.

Niko LEDUC Was Arrested

(MARKSTAY-WARREN, ON) – Police arrested and charged three people after a vehicle failed to stop for police.

On Sunday June 15, 2025, shortly after 9:30 a.m., the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to conduct a traffic stop with a stolen vehicle from Sudbury that was traveling north on Highway 400.

The vehicle failed to stop from police and continued north on Highway 69.

At approximately 12:25 p.m., the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP, located and arrested two of the involved people walking in Markstay.

The abandon vehicle was later located and members from the OPP K9 Unit, Emergency Response Team and OPP Aviation assisted with the search for the third person, who was located and arrested late that evening.

As a result of the investigation, Niko LEDUC, 20 years-of-age, from Sudbury, was charged with:

  • Dangerous operation
  • Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000 – in Canada
  • Flight from peace officer
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
  • Driving while under suspension

The accused was held for Bail Court and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 16, 2024, in Sudbury.

A 16-year-old-person, from Sudbury was charged with, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000

While another 16-year-old-person, from Sudbury was charged with, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 and obstruct Peace Officer.

Both Young Offenders were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date in 2025, in Sudbury.

The OPP will not be releasing the names of the Young Offenders under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

Christopher BRITTON Was Arrested

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Elgin County (Moravian Town First Nation) has arrested one individual after an investigation involving a stolen motor vehicle.

On June 2, 2025, at approximately 3:35 p.m., members of the Moravian Town First Nations Police received a report of a possible stolen camper trailer located on a property on Centre Road in Moravian Town.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher BRITTON, 49-year-old of Chatham-Kent was charged with:

  •  Possession of Property Obtained by crime over $5000.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Chatham Kent on the 14th of July 2025.

Stolen Vehicles Recovered – 3 Arrested

(BRANT,ON) – The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from Oxford CSCU, West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Canine Unit, has laid multiple charges following the execution of a search warrant at a rural property in Brant County.

On May 16, 2025, shortly before 10:00 a.m., police executed a search warrant at a property located on Colborne Street East, Brant County. The investigation was initiated after police received information regarding the location of a recently stolen vehicle.

The following stolen vehicles were seized:

  • 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 (Blue), valued at $20,000
  • 2014 GMC Sierra (Red), valued at $10,000
  • 2017 Chevrolet Express Van (Gray), valued at $25,000

The total estimated value of the recovered vehicles is approximately $55,000.

Three individuals were arrested and charged.

Accused:

Brandon FERREIRA, 38 years old, of Brant County, has been charged with

  • Three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • One count of Fraudulent Concealment

David LORNE, 41 years old, of Cambridge, has been charged with:

  • Three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • One count of Theft of Motor Vehicle
  • One count of Disguise with Intent
  • Three counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order
  • One count of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • One count of Fraudulent Concealment

Samantha SMITH, 37 years old, of Brant County, has been charged with:

  • Three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • One count of Fraudulent Concealment

Ferreira and Lorne were held for a bail hearing, while Smith was released on a Form 10.

The investigation is ongoing.

Stolen Plate Leads To Numerous Charges

(OTTAWA, ON) – Members of the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid dozens of charges against two individuals from Ottawa after a traffic stop for a stolen licence plate.

Shortly after midnight on May 17, an Ottawa OPP member was alerted to a possible stolen plate on Coventry Road by their Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) camera. The investigation led to arrest of both the driver and passenger. Officers seized a replica firearm, drugs and multiple stolen pieces of identification.

As a result, Jari MANNER, 43 years of age has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 – in Canada – six counts
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Traffick in Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

  • Possession Instruments for Forgery
  • Identity Theft – Obtain or Possess Another Persons Identity Information – six Counts

Lindsay GNASS-WETZEL, 36 years of age faces the following charges:

  • Traffick in Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

Both of the accused are set to appear in an Ontario Court of Justice in Ottawa at a later date.

Stolen ATV Recovered – 2 Arrested

(ESPANOLA, ON) – Police have arrested and charged two people after police located a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV).

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter where an ATV had been stolen from a residence in Espanola. Later that day, the ATV was located at a different address in Espanola, and returned to the owner. Two people were arrested as a result.

Tyler GAUDREAU, 42-years-old from Espanola, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Additionally, Cecile TROTTIER, 32-years-old from Espanola, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Both accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court on May 8, 2025.

Cathelina Antonissen – Meth, Cocaine

(PARIS, ON) – On April 26, 2025, one individual was arrested and is facing charges after the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received an automated licence plate reader (ALPR) hit for a stolen vehicle.

On April 26, 2025, at approximately 10:59 a.m., a Brant OPP officer was patrolling a local parking lot, when the officer received an ALPR hit on a licence plate for a stolen vehicle.

The investigation confirmed the vehicle was stolen and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine were located inside the vehicle.

Cathelina Antonissen, 40-years-old of Woodstock, Ontario is charged with the following:

  • CC Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • CDSA Possession of a schedule 1 substance

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on June 19, 2025.
