Sean CAMPBELL – Drunk Driving

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Huron East resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop in the Municipality of Huron East on December 06, 2025. 

Just before 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 06, 2025, Huron County OPP officers were conducting Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) checks on London Road, just South of Clinton. Officers spoke to a vehicle driver who was subsequently arrested for impaired operation. The accused was transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton where they provided breath samples before a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician. Breath samples were provided to police which resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Sean CAMPBELL, 58-years-of-age from Huron East has been charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Over 80.

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 12, 2026.

OPP Claim They Were Assaulted In Brockton #FilmThePolice #FTP

(BROCKTON, ON) – On December 15, 2025, at approximately 8:39 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a family dispute along Orange Street, Municipality of Brockton.

Officers attended the scene to discover the subject of the complaint had fled behind the residence. When officers approached the individual, they became assaultive towards police before being taken into custody.

A 34-year-old resident of Brockton was charged with:

  • Assault peace officer, CC 270(1)(a) – three counts
  • Breach of recognizance, CC 811 – three counts

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on January 28, 2026, to answer to the charges.

Morris-Turnberry Resident Arrested – Details Released

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY TWP, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Morris-Turnberry Township resident with criminal driving offences following a complaint on Cranbrook Road in Morris-Turnberry Township. 

In the early morning hours of Saturday, December 06, 2025, Huron County OPP officers responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver. Police spoke to the vehicle driver who had consumed alcohol prior to driving and was found to be prohibited from driving.

The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton where they refused to provide breath samples.

Mark SKILLEN, 54 years-of-age from Morris-Turnberry Twp has been charged with:

–      Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand,

–      Operation while Prohibited.

The accused was additionally charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on February 02, 2026.

22 Year Old Repeat Offender From Huron-Kinloss Arrested Again #3Strikes #WaitInTheTruck

(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) – On December 10, 2025, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of intimate partner violence in Lucknow, Township of Huron-Kinloss.

The initial report was a matter of a child custody dispute, however, discussion with the involved parties led to the discovery of several Criminal Code offences.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old resident of Huron-Kinloss has been charged with:

  • Assault cause bodily harm, CC 267(c)
  • Assault, CC 266
  • Mischief, CC 430(1)(a)
  • Fail to comply with release order, CC 145(5)(a) – three counts

The accused was held for a bail hearing on December 11, 2025, and subsequently remanded into custody.

David EDEN Was Arrested

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Huron East resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on December 05, 2025, in the Municipality of Huron East. 

Just before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 05, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on Victoria Street in Seaforth. The police vehicle was equipped with Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology, which alerted the vehicle’s licence plate. The driver was found to be suspended from driving and was additionally arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.

David EDEN, 63 years-of-age from Huron East has been charged with:

–      Impaired Operation – Over 80.

The accused was additionally charged with four offences found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 12, 2026.

Howick Home Invasion -Robert DOUGHERTY Arrested #StandYourGround

(HOWICK TWP, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual following a report of a break-in at a residence in the Village of Gorrie, Howick Township. 

On Sunday, November 30, 2025, just after 11:00 p.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about a break and enter in progress. Police arrived on scene and met with the caller. The report was deemed unfounded, and the caller was subsequently charged with the following offences:

Robert DOUGHERTY, 64 years-of-age of Howick Twp has been charged with the following offences:

–      Careless Store of Firearm, Prohibited Device, or Ammunition,

–      Possession of Schedule I Substance – Cocaine.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 05, 2026.

Thomas GREEN – Drunk Driving

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision in the Town of New Tecumseth.

On December 14, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the Nottawasaga OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision on 14th Line in New Tecumseth. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had left the roadway and overturned in a steep ditch. Three occupants were assisted from the wreckage with the help of emergency services. Two passengers sustained significant injuries, were transported to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

During the investigation, officers determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a local hospital as a precaution and later discharged with minor injuries.

As a result, Thomas GREEN, 23 years old, of New Tecumseth, has been charged with:

  • Operation causing bodily harm
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on January 15, 2026. The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

With the Christmas and holiday season approaching, the OPP is reminding motorists to make safe choices. Impaired driving puts lives at risk and can turn celebrations into tragedies. Plan ahead by arranging a designated driver, using public transportation, or calling a taxi or rideshare service. Do not drive impaired.

Buggy Collision – 4 Injured

(PERTH EAST, ON) – Four people are injured following a collision involving a motor vehicle and horse and buggy in the Township of Perth East.

On December 15, 2025 the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Perth County Paramedic Services, Perth East Fire Department, and Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision on Perth Road 116 near Perth Line 72 near Wellsley.

Just before 4:30 p.m. a vehicle stuck a horse and buggy carrying four passengers. All passengers of the buggy sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local trauma centre. One of the passengers was later transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to another trauma centre for life threatening injuries. The driver of the motor vehicle was uninjured.

Perth Road 116 was temporarily closed as the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team assisted with the investigation. Resources have cleared the area and the road has since been reopened.

This investigation remains ongoing. (CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 28, 2025, in the Town of Clinton, Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just after 11:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on William Street North in Clinton. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

–      Forcible Confinement – (two counts),

Repeat Offender Arrested In Goderich Jacob LEBLANC

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident that took place in the Town of Exeter, Municipality of South Huron on November 25, 2025.   

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, police were contacted to investigate damage inside a retail business on Main Street South in Exeter.

Police attended the scene and arrested the person responsible, and they were charged as follows:

Jacob LEBLANC, 32 years-of-age of no fixed address has been charged with:

–      Mischief Under $5,000,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation – (two counts).

Daniel RHODY – Drunk Driving

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On December 9, 2025, at approximately 5:40 a.m., a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol along Highway 9 east of Kincardine, when they stopped to check a vehicle that had left the roadway.

The investigating officer spoke with the driver and detected signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device was administered, resulting in a fail. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.

Daniel RHODY, 45-years-old, of Huron-Kinloss, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on January 21, 2026, to answer to the charge.
