Pervert Alert: Daniel Thomas RIDGEWAY – Luring & Child Pornography #3Strikes

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – One individual been arrested and criminally charged in relation to a child luring investigation.

On June 11, 2024, the Wellington Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted as a result of a public complaint. 

As a result of the investigation, on October 15, 2025, the Wellington County OPP Crime Unit arrested and charged Daniel Thomas RIDGEWAY, aged 39 of Guelph-Eramosa Township, with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of child pornography
  • Luring a person under 18 years of age by means of telecommunication
  • Make prints, publishes or possession for the purpose of publication of any child pornography

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on October 15, 2025.

Dustin MCNAUGHTON – Was Arrested

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Driver charged with impaired as a result of OPP RIDE Program.

On October 12, 2025, at 10:00 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were engaged in a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Hagerty Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.  

A vehicle attempted to elude the RIDE program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

As a result, Dustin MCNAUGHTON, a 20-year-old of Southwest Middlesex, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

·      Dangerous operation

·      Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt

·      Drive without proper headlights – motor vehicle

·      Drive without proper rear light – motor vehicle

·      Fail to notify change of address – licence

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 19, 2025, to speak to the charges.

Fire Department Truck Stolen During Fire Spree

(EDWARDSBURGH-CARDINAL, ON) – One person has been arrested and charged following two suspicious fires and a two-vehicle collision.

On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., members of the Grenville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Edwardsburgh-Cardinal Fire Department were called to a house fire on Adelaide Street in Cardinal. The home was gutted in the blaze.

One of the fire department’s pick-up trucks was stolen from the fire scene. It was involved in a collision with another vehicle on County Road 2 and then fled. There were no injuries, but the other vehicle sustained heavy damage.

While still at the original fire scene, a second fire was reported. This one was at the fire hall on Dishaw Street in Cardinal. A male was seen running away.

Officers located the stolen truck near the second fire scene and one person was taken into custody.

Michael MOORE, age 40 of Cardinal, has been charged with:

  • Arson-damage to property
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Dangerous operation
  • Operation while impaired
  • Failure to stop after an accident
  • Possession of property obtained by crime-over $5000
  • Theft of a vehicle
  • Fail to comply with a probation order

The investigation into the initial housefire is ongoing by Grenville OPP Crime Unit, in collaboration with the Office of the Fire Marshal.

The accused was remanded in custody, with a bail hearing scheduled to continue before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on Friday, October 17, 2025.

20 Year Old From Ilderton Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after vehicle leaves road, enters ditch and collides with hydro pole.

On October 12, 2025, at 11:18 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Medway Road near Richmond Street in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a single vehicle collision.

Investigation revealed a single vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch and collided with a hydro pole.

There were no serious injuries reported.

As a result, Nicholas DYKEMAN, a 20-year-old of Ilderton, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt

·      Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

·      Having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on December 9, 2025.

OPP Shoot Aggressive Dog Following Attacks on Child and Officer in Dundalk

(DUNDALK, ON) Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a dog attack earlier this morning in Dundalk, Ontario.

On Wednesday, October 15 at approximately 8:41 a.m., police received a report of an unrestrained dog on Russell Street. The dog bit one child and was attempting to bite another. The owner was on scene attempting to restrain the animal but was unsuccessful.

Upon arrival, officers encountered the aggressive dog. One officer sustained a bite while attempting to gain control of the animal.

In the interest of public safety, police shot the dog. The dog was later euthanized.

Two individuals involved sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment.

The OPP reminds the public to report aggressive or dangerous animals immediately and to avoid approaching them.

Jerrica GALLINGER – Drunk Driving

(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) – Driver facing impaired charge after traffic complaint.

On October 11, 2025, at 11:51 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Calvert Drive in Adelaide Metcalfe, for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Jerrica GALLINGER, a 28-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous Operation

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 25, 2025.

Tyona DO – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic stop.

On October 10, 2025, at 3:03 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Sharon Drive near Woodhull Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle.

A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Tyona DO, a 31-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

·      Driver fail to surrender licence

·      Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 10, 2025.

Matthijs HEERSCHAP Was Arrested

(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) – One person has been charged, and police continue to search for three others in connection with a dangerous driving incident in Tillsonburg.

On Monday, October 13, 2025, at approximately 4:43 p.m., the Oxford Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting a group of individuals operating dirt bikes dangerously near Concession Street East and King Street in Tillsonburg.

Officers later located the group of dirt bikers near Hardy Avenue in Tillsonburg, where one individual was taken into custody without incident. The remaining three fled the area.

As a result, 18-year-old Matthijs HEERSCHAP of Oxford County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Dangerous operation,
  • Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt,
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Police continue to investigate as efforts to identify the remaining three individuals are ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact the Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

20 Year Old ATV Operator Facing Numerous Charges

(KAPUSKASING, ON) – A call of a possible impaired ATV driver led to several criminal and traffic charges.

On Friday, October 3, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the James Bay OPP responded to a report of possible impaired ATV driver, positioned in a parking lot at an address on Government Road in Kapuskasing.

Upon arrival, officers located the ATV and attempted a traffic stop. The driver fled the scene, spinning tires and accelerating toward Government Road. Before entering the roadway, the ATV struck a construction pylon and drove through fencing, entering traffic at a high rate of speed. Officers located and arrested the driver shortly afterward. Although there was no evidence of impaired driving, the driver is facing several charges.

Derek DUFRESNE, 20 years of age from Kapuskasing, has been charged with the following offences:

·        Flight from a peace officer

·        Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

·        Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt

·        Wilfully interfere with highway fixture

·        Fail to drive in same direction as traffic

·        Enter roadway improperly

·        No number plate showing permit number

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kapuskasing on November 17, 2025. Additionally, they received a 30-day driver’s licence suspension.

53 Year Old Arrested After Ditch Incident

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – A Toronto resident is facing impaired charges after their vehicle was found in an Erin ditch.

On October 14, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Third Line in Erin. Upon arrival, police located the driver who they suspected to be impaired.

As a result of the investigation, Gabriel TERAN, a 53-year-old from Toronto, was charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on October 31, 2025.

Home Shot Repeatedly, Police Advise: Don’t Worry About It

(Orillia, ON) – The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred on Eastside Drive in Severn Township.

On October 11, 2025, just after 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired at a residence on Eastside Drive. Upon arrival, police located several spent shell casings on the roadway and observed visible bullet holes in the front of the home. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and confirm there is no threat to public safety at this time.

21 Year Old From Brockton Arrested

(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) – On October 10, 2025, at approximately 4:42 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fail to remain collision on Inkerman Street in Paisley.

Police attended and learned that an off-road vehicle had collided with a cargo van after crossing into the opposite lane at a high rate of speed. The driver fled prior to police arrival. The driver of the cargo van had taken a photo of the suspect vehicle and occupants, where police were able to identify the driver from previous incidents.

Brett HAGAN, 21-years-old, resident of Brockton, was charged with:

  • Dangerous operation, CC 320.13(1)
  • Fail to comply with release order, CC 145(5)(a)

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.

Samantha BIGGS – Drunk Driving

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, at approximately 01:00 a.m., a traffic complaint led Quinte West OPP to suspect a motorist may be under the influence of alcohol.

An Alcohol Screening Device (ASD) was administered, the driver was arrested and transported to the Quinte West Detachment for further testing, which resulted in charges being laid.

Samantha BIGGS, age 40, from Trenton, was charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville. Additionally, the vehicle was impounded for seven days, and their license suspended for 90 days.
