James WOODS Facing Numerous Charges #RepeatOffender

(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-motor vehicle collision on Highway 6, sending one to hospital.

On July 3, 2025, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the Wellington County OPP, alongside local emergency services, responded to a report of a two-motor vehicle collision on Highway 6 within Arthur.

Highway 6, between Conestoga Street North and Preston Street North within Arthur was closed as a result of the collision for several hours but has since reopened.

One driver was taken into custody, and another driver was taken to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, James WOODS, a 25-year-old from CONN is charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with the following:

  • Dangerous Operation causing bodily harm
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Fail to remain
  • Operation while prohibited under the criminal code
  • Drive motor vehicle – not equipped with ignition interlock device

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 45-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on July 18, 2025.

Paul MONTGOMERY Was Arrested Again

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one person in relation to a disturbance.

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, shortly after 8:30 p.m., officers were investigating a disturbance in the Town of Bancroft. During the investigation it was determined that one person had breached the conditions on their release order.

As a result, Paul MONTGOMERY, 43, of Bancroft has been charged with two counts of failure to comply with a release order and utter threats.

The accused was held for bail and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on July 3, 2025.

Emily GRAHAME Was Arrested Again #3Strikes

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a wanted party, which resulted in additional drug related charges.

On Monday, June 30, 2025, shortly after 4:00p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop when an officer recognized a wanted party while on general patrol. During the investigation one person was arrested and a search of the vehicle located cocaine and methamphetamine.

Emily GRAHAME, 27 of Bancroft has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
  • Failure to comply with a release order – three counts

GRAHAME was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on July 2, 2025.

20 Year Old Repeat Offender Arrested Again

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen vehicle and arresting the suspect shortly thereafter and recovering the stolen vehicle.

 On June 28, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were made aware of a stolen vehicle within Wellington County, which was initially originating from a neighbouring jurisdiction. The victim was able to advise where their stolen vehicle was due to a GPS (Global Positioning System) / Bluetooth tracking device that they had left in the vehicle.

Due to this system, officers were able to attend the pin-point location and search the area for the stolen vehicle.

As a result of the investigation and swift actions by uniform members of the OPP, Rodney LAROCHE, a 20-year-old from Montreal, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000- in Canada
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code (two counts)

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing. The stolen vehicle was recovered.

Christopher TAVARES Arrested Again After Serious Of Break & Enters

(LEAMINGTON, ON)- Members of theEssex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) have made an arrest after investigating a series of reported break and enters at bunkhouses in the Municipality of Leamington and the Town of Kingsville.

The individual has been arrested and charged in relation to 12 Break and Enters reported between April 4 and June 25, 2025. 

On June 25, 2025, at approximately 2:40 p.m., CSCU members were actively investigating the Break and Enters in Leamington when they observed the individual attempting to flee the scene of the latest Break and Enter.

As a result, Christopher TAVARES, 35 years-of of Leamington has been charged with:

  • Fail to comply – Probation (12 Counts)
  • Break, Enter dwelling house – commit indictable offence (12 Counts)
  • Mischief Under $5,000 (Four Counts)
  • Use of Credit Card (Three counts)
  • Possession of break in instruments

The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.

These incidents remain under investigation.

Repeat Offender Arrested Following Assault

(BLUEWATER, ON) – On Sunday, June 8th, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a report of an earlier assault in the Municipality of Bluewater.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed criminal offences on another person.

The suspect was located and arrested on June 13th, and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

Kevin MONTEITH, 46 years-of-age from Bluewater has been charged with:

–      Assault with a Weapon,

–      Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation.

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and remanded into custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Dong HUANG Was Arrested Again

(ESPANOLA, ON) – One person has been arrested after a single vehicle collision led to a stolen vehicle.

On Friday, June 20, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant reported that they came across a single vehicle rollover collision on Highway 17 in the Sables-Spanish Rivers Township. When the passerby stopped to offer their help, their vehicle was stolen by the driver involved in the collision. As a result of the investigation, police located the stolen vehicle at a parking lot in McKerrow, and the driver was arrested. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

Dong HUANG, 23-years-old from Scarborough, was charged with:

·      Theft of motor vehicle

·      Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code

·      Use of Credit Card

·      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

·      Fail to comply with probation order – two counts

·      Fail to report accident

·      Fail to remain

The accused was held before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court on June 20, 2025, and remains in custody.

James BROOKS Was Arrested Again

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – Lennox and Addington County Detachment members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with dangerous driving and multiple other offences following an investigation in Greater Napanee.

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, shortly before 4:00 p.m., L&A County OPP was contacted after a Quinte West OPP officer observed a single vehicle collision on Palace Road and the driver fled on foot from the scene. With assistance from the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) as well as the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit, OPP located the driver of the vehicle.

 James BROOKS, a 41-year-old from Loyalist Township was charged with:

  • Dangerous driving
  • Breach of probation order
  • Driving while suspended
  • Fail to remain

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on August 5, 2025.

Curtis BOWLES Was Arrested Again

(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On June 21, 2025, the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a person in a school yard on Mississauga Avenue.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. police were called in relation to an intoxicated male who looked to be trying to gain entry to a Mississauga Avenue school. Once on scene, police recognized the male and was subsequently arrested for a previous breach. 

On June 18, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m. police conducted a compliance check at an Axmith Avenue residence where the male was supposed to be present. A family member was spoken to who advised the male was not home.

Curtis BOWLES, 34-years-old, of Elliot Lake, was charged with:

  • Failure to comply with Release Order

The accused was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on June 22, 2025.

Repeat Offender Arrested For Assault #WaitInTheTruck

(COLLINGWOOD, ON) – On June 16, 2025, officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a disturbance at a location in Collingwood, where a verbal dispute had escalated into intimate partner violence.

A 35-year-old male assaulted a female, damaged her personal property, and was found in possession of a spring-assisted knife with a brass knuckle handle. During the arrest, the individual resisted officers and damaged a police cruiser. Additionally, the individual uttered threats against an officer. The individual was found to be in breach of existing prohibition orders and undertakings.

As a result of the investigation, the 35-year-old male from Wasaga Beach, was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault, contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code
  • Mischief – Destroys or Damages Property, section 430(1)(a)
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, section 91(2)
  • Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (2 counts), section 117.01(1)
  • Mischief – Renders Property Dangerous, Useless, Inoperative or Ineffective (2 counts), section 430(1)(b)
  • Failure to Comply with Undertaking (2 counts), section 145(4)(a)
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order, section 145(5)(a)
  • Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm, section 264.1(1)(a)

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie, ON. This bail hearing took place on June 17, 2025.

James CARROL – Was Arrested Again

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged the driver of an ATV with impaired in the Town of Bancroft.

On Sunday, June 15, 2025, just after 6:00 p.m., Bancroft OPP officers were responding to a disturbance in the area of Woodview Lane. While officers were investigating the disturbance an approved screening device was utilized, and as a result, the accused was transported to the detachment for testing.

James CARROL, a 23-year-old resident of Bancroft, has been charged with the following:

–      Assault with a weapon

–      Failure to comply with a release order

–      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

–      Operation while impaired – alcohol

The accused was held for bail and released by the courts. CARROL is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on June 24, 2025.

Repeat Offender Attempts To Ram Cruiser

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – An individual is facing charges after attempting to ram a cruiser in Cayuga.

On June 18, 2025, at approximately 1:55 a.m. the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) took a driver into custody after they intentionally drove towards a police vehicle.

The officer was forced to take evasive action to avoid a collision. No injuries were reported.

Morley CALLAN, 65-years-old from Caledonia has been charged with the following offences:

  • Dangerous Operation
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other than to Attend Court

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on today’s date.

Destynie TEMPENY – Assault With Weapon, Breach

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – On June 14, 2025, at approximately 12:25 a.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Broad Street, Dunnville.

The investigation determined that two individuals became involved in a verbal argument that escalated.

One person brandished an edged weapon during the altercation, and they were subsequently taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Destynie TEMPENY of Dunnville has been charged with the following offences:

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Uttering Threats -Cause Death or Bodily Harm
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other than to Attend Court
  • Being Intoxicated in a Public Place

The accused is schedule to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on July 29, 2025.

20 Year Old Repeat Offender Arrested Again #3Strikes

(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) – The Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a person in relation to a bicycle theft and a shoplift occurrence in Temiskaming Shores.

On Monday, June 2, 2025, at approximately 1:45 p.m., police responded to a bicycle theft at a school in Temiskaming Shores. The investigation led officers to review security camera footage and were able to identify a suspect.

On the same day at approximately 5:15 p.m., OPP responded to a report of a shoplifting incident at a business in Temiskaming Shores involving the same individual. The investigation led to seizure a replica firearm and the recovery of the stolen bicycle. 

Jerome PLEMEL, 20 years-of-age from Temiskaming Shores, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences: 

  • Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Theft under $5,000 – two counts
  • Fail to comply with probation order

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025

David HACHEY Was Arrested Again

(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – A driver is facing five charges stemming from a traffic stop at a RIDE program.

On June 12, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Queen Street within Morriston.

During the initiative, a vehicle was stopped, and as a result of the investigation, David HACHEY, 38-year-old of Guelph, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Possession property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Operation while prohibited – legal restriction from any other act of parliament or provincial law
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
  • Driving while under suspension (two counts)

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
