On June 4th, 2014 members of the South Division Crime Management Team conducting a Controlled Drug and Substances Act investigation, arrested a 32 year old Cambridge male. The male was charged with possession of methamphetamines, cocaine and marihuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and breaching his probation. Also charged with drug related offences as a result of the investigation is a 52 year old male and a 38 year old female.

On the 4th June 2014 at approximately 2pm, a young Kitchener girl was followed by a male walking in the area of Gibson Dr. and River Rd. in Kitchener. The male did not say or do anything to the girl. The male is described as a White, 30-40 years, 5’9 – 5’11”
Indecent Act on bus
On June 4, 2014, at 2:20 p.m., an indecent act was reported to have taken place on a city bus, which was parked at the bus terminal on MacDonell Street. Police are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.

Break and enter
On June 4, 2014 at 7:37 a.m., the Guelph Police went to Marilyn Drive to investigate a break and enter. A construction trailer was entered sometime between June 3 at 8:30 p.m. and June 4 at 6:50 a.m. A theft of construction tools/equipment is reported.

Man Charged with Flight from Police
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a traffic complaint in Wallaceburg earlier this week.
On June 3, 2014 CKPS officers were called to assist OPP with trying to stop a man driving a motorcycle in the area of Base Line and Irwin Road in Wallaceburg. Officers attempted to initiate traffic stop however the man failed to stop and evaded police by travelling at a high rate of speed through a field and using the rail road tracks. Through investigation, officers identified the driver and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last night, officers located the man on Gillard Street and he was arrested.
Jean Guy Gagne, 45 years, of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg has been charged with flight from police. He has been released from custody with conditions pending a future court date.
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with his release conditions.
On May 5, 2014, the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to reside at a specific address on Woods Street in Chatham.
Yesterday, officers conducted a residency check on the man and received information that he was not living on Woods Street.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m. officers located the man on King Street and he was arrested. The 32-year-old Chatham man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman in connection with a shoplifting incident in Wallaceburg.
On May 21, 2014 around 8:00 p.m. the woman entered a pharmacy and stole a quantity of watches from a display. The woman fled the store, making no attempt to pay for the items. Through investigation, police identified the woman responsible and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Around 8:30 p.m. last night an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg observed the woman riding a bicycle in the area of Murray Street and Wallace Street. The woman was arrested on the outstanding warrant.
Joyce Leveille, 32 years, of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. She has been released with conditions pending a future court date.
Break and Enter in Orford Township
The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a break and enter last night.
Sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a garage on Lees Line causing about $500 damage. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a weed whipper, leaf blower and bike.

Male Arrested with Loaded Handgun
(Ottawa)  On Wednesday June 4th, 2014 at approximately 8:00 PM, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the East Division Neighbourhood Office (EDNHO) arrested a male after stopped him in a vehicle on Aviation Parkway. The male was found to be in possession of a loaded 40 calibre semi-automatic Beretta handgun.
The arrested person was identified as Adrian LAI of Ottawa, 24 years of age. He will attend a show cause hearing on June 5th 2014 in Ottawa.

Ottawa) Today, the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) charged an Ottawa man following the execution of a search warrant at the man’s residence.
Charles OGILVIE, 54 years old, of Ottawa is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
He is scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing on June 5, 2014.

(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect of a break and enter.
The break-in occurred in the Rideau-Rockliffe area on April 29th, 2014 in the daytime hours. During the break-in, an unidentified male attended the rear of the building and was captured on camera prior to entering the ground level door. The male is believed to be the suspect in a residential break and enter in the 200 block of Ivy Crescent.
He is described as white male, 35-45 years old, tall and slim with dark hair.

On the 5th of June in the early morning hours, Barrie Police Uniform Patrol were in the area of Yonge Street and Ester Drive when they observed what appeared to be two (2) stranded motorcyclist. Officers circled back to render assistance and at that time the two males fled on foot. Officers gave chase and were able stop one of the males a short distance away.
During the course of their investigation, officers determined that the motorcycle had just been stolen from a nearby residence garage and at that time, the male was arrested for Break & Enter / Theft. Members of the Street Crime Drug Unit assisted with the continuing investigation and later that same day identified and arrested the 2nd outstanding suspect. After interviewing victims and through investigation, officers were able to link the two males to a recent rash of Break and Enter’s in the area of Marshall Street and Thorncrest Rd.
Both males, both 14 years old from Barrie, were transported to Barrie Police Headquarters and later released to their parents with a future court date. A total of 24 charges were laid in regards to this investigation. Charges are Break and Enter, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property and Theft.
The Barrie Police Service has seized a quantity of property and is in the process of returning it to its rightful owner(s).
(CALEDON, ON) – On June 13, 2014 members from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will kick off the annual Torch Run for Special Olympics. This year Holy Family School and Allen Drive School will be participating. In 2013, over 600 students, teachers and parents participated in the event which raised over $1,500 for the Peel Region Special Olympics.
The event is planned for an 11:00 am kick-off and a b-b-q in the Zehrs parking lot. The purpose of this event is to raise money for Special Olympics of Ontario in support of the 2014 Special Olympics Summer Games being held in Vancouver BC from July 8th to the 12th.

(ESSA)- On June 4, 2014 at 3:51pm, the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a train on the 6th Line of Essa, just south of the 30th Sideroad.
Nottawasaga OPP, Essa Fire Department members and Simcoe County Paramedics are on scene working to extricate the lone male occupant. Essa Fire is in the process of extricating the male and he will be transported by Ornge Air Ambulance Services to a Toronto area hospital.
Police have Technical Traffic Collision Investigators on their way to the scene to assist in the investigation.
The rail line will be closed from the north at the 6th line and 30th Sideroad and on the south at County Road 56 and the 30th Sideroad. The motoring public is asked to re-route around this collision scene.
