Fabian RODNEY – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing charges after traffic complaint on Highway 401 Westbound.

On December 15, 2024, at 5:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to the Westbound lanes of Highway 401 in Thames Centre, for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located stopped on the centre median shoulder.

As a result, Fabian RODNEY, a 39-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on February 27, 2025.

Morgan TEMPLE – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing multiple charges after traffic complaints called in on Highway 401.

On December 10, 2024, at 3:57 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to the Westbound lanes of Highway 401 in Thames Centre, for the reports of a possible impaired driver.

With assistance from members of the public, the vehicle was located on Wilton Grove Road in the City of London, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

As a result, Morgan TEMPLE, a 26-year-old of St. Thomas, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Liquor Licence Control Act and Cannabis Control Act with:

·      Dangerous operation

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

·      Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on January 23, 2025.

Jennifer KRANCZOCH – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing charges as a result of OPP Festive RIDE Program.

On December 4, 2024, at 1:54 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police were engaged in a Festive, Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program, on Hamilton Road in Thames Centre.

A vehicle entered the program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

Jennifer KRANCZOCH, a 32-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 28, 2025, to speak to the charges.

The festive RIDE Program is supported by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) in an effort to keep Ontario’s roads safe from impaired drivers during the holiday season. The strategy is to take alcohol and drug-impaired drivers off the roads. The Festive RIDE program runs through the month of December and ends January 2, 2025.

Mandeep WALIA – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – London driver charged in OPP Festive Ride program.

On November 23, 2024, at 8:21 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were engaged in a Festive Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Catherine Street in Thames Centre.

A vehicle entered the RIDE program, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Mandeep WALIA, a 40-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, Cannabis Control Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit

·      Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available

·      Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on January 9, 2025.

Shawn BRADT Was Arrested

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Suspicious vehicle leads to multiple charges for driver.

On November 20, 2024, at 7:25 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business at 3391 Westchester Bourne in Thames Centre, for the report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.

Officers arrived on scene and confirmed the vehicle had previously been reported as stolen from Toronto.

In an effort to elude police the vehicle fled briefly, entered a field and became stuck.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex County OPP detachment.

As a result, Shawn BRADT, a 47-year-old of no fixed address, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada
  • Flight from peace officer
  • Dangerous operation
  • Use of Credit Card

The accused was held for bail.

William CLARK – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – London driver charged in OPP Ride program on Highway 401.

On November 18, 2024, at 12:28 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were engaged in a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Highway 401 at Veterans Memorial Parkway in Thames Centre.

A vehicle entered the RIDE program, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, William CLARK, a 44-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on January 13, 2025.

Pedestrian Collision

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver charged after collision with pedestrian in Dorchester.

On October 31, 2024, at 8:21 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Thames Centre Fire were dispatched to Woodvale Drive in Dorchester, Thames Centre, for the report of a single vehicle collision verse a pedestrian.

Early investigation revealed a vehicle struck a pedestrian at slow speeds while the pedestrian was crossing the road.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital as a precaution.

The driver, a 47-year-old of Dorchester has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with turn – not in safety.

Truck Vs House Collision

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – ATransport truck collided with a house in Thames Centre resulting in roads being closed for hours.

On October 23, 2024, at 3:10 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Thames Centre Fire were dispatched to the intersection of Westchester Bourne at Bradley Avenue in Thames Centre for the report of a transport truck that collided with a house.

A tractor trailer travelling Eastbound on Bradley Avenue, lost control and struck a house on Westchester Bourne. There were no residents inside the house at the time.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries, however, were later determined to be non-life-threatening.

The roads were closed for hours as police and engineers investigated the collision.

The truck has since been removed and the roads have opened.

The investigation is continuing.

Selina THOMPSON – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver charged with Impaired after collision in Thames Centre.

On September 14, 2024, at 5:05 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Patricia Avenue in Thames Centre for report of a collision involving three vehicles.

Investigation revealed the driver lost control and collided with two vehicles that were parked on the road.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol and was placed under arrest.

As a result, Selina THOMPSON, a 36-year-old of Ingersoll, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous operation

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 14, 2024.

There were no injuries reported.

Rajinder SINGH Was Arrested Again

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Alert officer locates and recovers stolen vehicle in restaurant parking lot in Thames Centre. Driver from London facing charges.

On August 30, 2024, at 12:06 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol, observed a suspicious vehicle, parked in a parking lot of a business at 3305 Dorchester Road in Thames Centre.

Investigation revealed the vehicle had previously been reported stolen out of Peel.

An individual was observed sleeping within the vehicle and was placed under arrest without incident.

As a result, Rajinder SINGH, a 29-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

·      Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court (two counts)

·      Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was held for bail.

David KAMINSKY – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after failing roadside demand.

On July 13, 2024, at 12:52 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Hamilton Road in Thames Centre performed a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment where further tests were administered.

As a result, David KAMINSKY, a 34-year-old of Thames Centre, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 17, 2024.

Fatal Collision

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – An individual is deceased following a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle in the Municipality of Thames Centre.

On June 13, 2024, at approximately 6:15 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Fire and Emergency Services, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a collision at Prospect Hill Road and Plover Mills Road, Municipality of Thames Centre.

The collision involved a passenger vehicle that collided with a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old from London, was transported by EMS and later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

The driver/lone occupant of the passenger vehicle, 49-year-old from London, reported no injuries and has been taken into custody by the Middlesex County OPP.

The identity of the deceased individual will not be released out of respect for the family’s privacy.

The Middlesex OPP with the assistance West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team continue to investigate the collision.

Plover Mills Road between Valleyview Road and Clark Road, as well as Prospect Hill Road between Ilderton Road and 13 Mile Road are closed for an undetermined amount of time to allow for investigation.

Scott CONNELLY From Lucknow Arrested – Details Released

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver charged with impaired after police attend residence in Thames Centre for an unwanted person.

On July 1, 2024, at 2:16 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address on Thames Street in Dorchester, Thames Centre, for the report of an unwanted person.

Police arrived at the address and observed the unwanted person asleep in their vehicle.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Scott CONNELLY, a 52-year-old of Lucknow, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on August 26, 2024.

Brock NIELSEN Was Arrested

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Traffic stop leads to arrest of impaired driver and a quantity of illicit drugs.

On June 27, 2024, at 3:42 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Marion Street in Thames Centre, observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.

A traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest.

A search of the vehicle resulted in 262 grams of illicit drugs, suspected to be cocaine.

The individual was transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment where tests were completed by a qualified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).

As a result, Brock NIELSEN, a 43-year-old of Dorchester, has been charged under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – drugs

·      Resist Peace Officer

·      Failure to comply with undertaking

·      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

·      Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit

·      Driving while under suspension

The accused was held for bail.

Christian NGWALE Was Arrested

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver charged with Impaired after two-vehicle collision.

On June 16, 2024, at 5:19 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Highway 401 and Veterans Memorial Parkway in the City of London, for the report of a collision involving two vehicles.

It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol and was placed under arrest.

As a result, Christian NGWALE, a 28-year-old of Kingston, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous operation

·      Resist Peace Officer

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on August 8, 2024.

There were no injuries reported.
