Jacob Jubinville Wanted By Police – Fraud, Breach, Etc.

Warrant issued for man accused of using counterfeit cash, fleeing from police

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 27-year-old man who allegedly used counterfeit cash to make $700 in fraudulent purchases at local stores and then fled from police officers. 

On May 11, 2025, a male suspect entered a department store in the 7100 block of Tecumseh Road East and used counterfeit $100 bills to purchase multiple items. The following day, the same individual attempted to use counterfeit money to pay for merchandise at a business in the 400 block of Sandwich Street South in Amherstburg. However, a store employee discovered the bills were fake and confronted the suspect, who fled to a nearby black Mercedes and left the scene. 

Officers with the Windsor Police’s Amherstburg Detachment located the suspect’s vehicle a short time later. Upon seeing the police cruiser, the suspect accelerated rapidly and drove through a red traffic light in a highly populated area. Officers discontinued the pursuit out of concern for public safety.

The Windsor Police Financial Crimes Unit investigated and identified the suspect as Jacob Jubinville. He is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, 160 lbs, with a medium build, wavy brown hair, a full beard, blue eyes, and multiple tattoos, including two on his face. An arrest warrant has been issued for Jubinville on the following charges:

· Fraud under $5,000 (x 2)

· Possession of counterfeit money (x 2)

· Uttering counterfeit money (x 2)

· Obtaining by false pretences under $5,000

· Possession of property obtained by crime

· Failure to stop for police

· Dangerous driving

· Failure to comply with a release order (x 2)

18 Year Old Wanted For Murder

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted man in relation to a homicide investigation.

On April 23, 2025, it is alleged that the wanted individual shot and killed a young person in the area of Beech Street and Church Street East in Brampton.

As the result of the investigation, Damian Walker, an 18-year-old male from Brampton, was identified as the suspect. Walker is wanted for Second Degree Murder.

Walker is described as approximately 6’0” with a slim build, light complexion, brown curly hair, green eyes, and a rose tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Investigators have reason to believe that Walker may be armed and dangerous. If seen, please do not approach and call 911 immediately.

Hanover Police Continue Keeping Public In Dark – Refuse To Name Names

On Monday, May 19th, 2025, Hanover Police while on patrol observed an improperly plated motorcycle on 7th Avenue. The driver was stopped and could not produce an insurance card, permit for the vehicle or a valid driver’s license. Hanover Police have charged a 42-year-old Owen Sound man with multiple offences under the Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. He was issued several Provincial Offence Act notices.

Hanover Haven For Criminals – Police Protect Criminals Not Community

On Monday, May 19th, 2025, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a mischief complaint in the 100 block of 10th Street. Through investigation, police determined a 45-year-old man of no fixed address threw a rock at the window of a parked vehicle. The window was broken as a result. Hanover Police located the man and arrested him for Mischief. He was further charged with breaching the terms of his probation (failure to keep the peace). The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Walkerton.

HPS Issues Warning

Hanover Police continue to investigate a fraud which occurred on Monday, May 12th, 2025. The victim in this fraud was contacted by a person saying they could fix his Ticketmaster account. The victim had been having issues with his Ticketmaster account so agreed to pay to fix the problem in Xbox Gift Cards. The problem was not fixed, and police were contacted. Hanover Police are reminding citizens to be cautious when providing money for services. Hanover Police Protect Identity Of 32 Year Old Repeat Offender Again #JobSecurity

On Thursday, May 15th, 2025, Hanover Police responded to an unwanted person call in the 800 block of 10th Street. On arrival, police observed a well-known 32-year-old Hanover man walking on the property of a business he was on court ordered conditions not to attend. The man was arrested without incident and charged under the Criminal Code with breaching his probation. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Walkerton.

2 Dead, Amanda MONTEITH-SERGERIE Arrested

(WEST NIPISSING, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged one person in relation to the head-on collision, which resulted in the death of two people.

On January 23, 2025, shortly after 11:00 a.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP, Fire Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17, West Nipissing.

A 69-year-old-person from Wawa was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other people were transported by Air ORNGE with serious life-threatening injuries to a local hospital, where a 74-year-old person from Sault Ste. Marie, later succumb to their injuries. Three other people were treated at the scene with minor injuries.

The highway was closed in both directions for just over eight hours during the investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Amanda MONTEITH-SERGERIE, 36 years-of-age, from Sudbury, was charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation causing death – two counts
  • Dangerous Operation causing bodily harm – two counts
  • Operate unsafe vehicle
  • Fail to notify change of address
  • Fail to Provide Necessaries of Life – Child or Spouse
  • Improper muffler – motor vehicle
  • Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt
  • Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 18, 2025, in Sudbury.

Do You Recognize This Masturbator #PervertAlert

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a male who on two separate occasions masturbated in the presence of females while onboard a GO Train.

The suspect (pictured below) is described as a black male with a large to medium build, and approximately 6’2″ – 6’4″ tall.

The first incident took place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at approximately 9:30 P.M. While onboard the Lakeshore West GO Train travelling from Toronto Union Station to Hamilton West Harbour (train 1733, coach 2317), the suspect continuously masturbated over his shorts while staring at a female passenger. He was wearing a blue V-neck t-shirt, grey jacket, dark shorts, black crocs, and a beige baseball cap with a logo on it. 

The second incident took place on Saturday May 10, 2025 at approximately 11:15 P.M. While onboard the Lakeshore West GO Train travelling from Toronto Union Station to Aldershot GO (train 1739, coach 2227), the suspect exposed his genitals to a female passenger and masturbated in her presence. He was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, black crocs, a beige baseball cap, and headphones.

Neither of the females sustained any physical injuries.

Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 225 calls for service in the last 24 hours. 3 people were arrested.

Break and Enter/Arrest – CK25029612

On Thursday May 22nd, 2025, police responded to the area of Northland Dr, Chatham after receiving reports of a suspicious person entering a home under construction. The male suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

Based on descriptors provided to police, the suspect male was located a short distance away and subsequently placed under arrest after a preliminary investigation was conducted. The 27-year-old Chatham man was charged with several Criminal Code offences including, Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000, Mischief Under $5000 and Breach of Probation.

The 27-year-old Chatham man was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Impaired/Arrest – CK25029721

On the evening of May 22nd, 2025, police responded to the area of King St W, Chatham in response to a traffic complaint of a possible impaired driver. Information received was that a vehicle operating on King St W was swerving and may have also struck a sign. Police promptly located the subject vehicle in the area of St Clair St. in Chatham, where a traffic stop was initiated.

Through investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired by alcohol, and they were subsequently arrested for Impaired Operation. The driver was then transported to police headquarters for further testing. Breath samples taken from the male driver registered above the legal limit and he was later charged with Over 80mgs of alcohol per 100ml of blood.

The 35-year-old Alberta man was later released from police custody with a future court date.

Firework Assaults End With Arrests

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a series of disturbance calls in Kitchener.

On May 19, 2025, between approximately 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., police received numerous reports of people setting off fireworks towards members of the public and police officers in Victoria Park and throughout downtown Kitchener.

Police and City of Kitchener Bylaw responded to incidents including disturbances, large crowds of people blocking roadways, and fireworks being shot by people walking and by people in moving vehicles.

Hundreds of people were gathered throughout the park and downtown areas of Kitchener. To ensure public safety and the dispersal of the crowds, Victoria Park was closed.

Waterloo Regional Police mobilized resources from across the organization in addition to calling in resources from members of the Ontario Provincial Police to assist.

There were no physical injuries reported.

One 14-year-old youth was arrested and charged with Mischief- Interfere in relation to a fireworks incident.

A 17-year-old male youth was arrested and charged with setting off fireworks into a large group of people. Officers seized three imitation firearms as part of the investigation. The male was charged with Mischief- Interfere, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose (three counts), and Carry Concealed Weapon.

An 18-year-old male was arrested and charged in a separate incident with Mischief- Interfere and Causing a Disturbance after setting off fireworks from a moving vehicle.

In a separate incident, officers were called to area of St. Andrews Street and Southwood Drive in Cambridge for reports of a robbery at a business. At approximately 9:30 p.m., three suspects attended a convenience store and stole fireworks. The suspects threw rocks and shot fireworks at several victims in the area while in the parking lot before fleeing. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation remains ongoing.

Robbery – Suspects At Large

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a person on person robbery in Cambridge.

On February 12, 2025, police responded for reports of a robbery in the area of Hollywood Court and Birmingham Drive.

The victim was selling an item from an online marketplace and arranged to meet with the suspects. When the victim met with the suspects, an altercation took place and the suspects left with the property.

Minor physical injuries were reported.

Police are looking to identify the two individuals in the images who are connected to the incident.

Fatal E-Bike Collision

A 50-year-old male has died after a collision with a motor vehicle in Oshawa.

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., members from Central East Division responded to a report of a collision at Harmony Road North and Storie Avenue.  A southbound e-bike and a northbound Buick Encore, which was making a left-hand turn, collided. A 50-year-old male e-bike rider sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at a local area hospital. The driver of the Buick was not injured, remained at the scene, and cooperated with Police.    

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.

Bomb Threat

LONDON, ON (May 23, 2025) – Shortly after 4 a.m., this morning, members of the London Police Service were notified of a bomb threat at the Western University’s Medical Sciences building, located in the area of Lambton Drive and Western Road.

The building was closed to all employees and students as a result of the threat while police investigated the incident.

With the assistance of the LPS Canine Unit, a thorough search of both the inside and outside of the building was conducted.

Nothing suspicious was located, and the building has since been re-opened.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Thief assaults store staff

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a loss-prevention employee was assaulted while trying to stop a thief.

Approximately 6:45 p.m. Thursday police were called to a business near Silvercreek Parkway North and Speedvale Avenue West. Staff reported a man was seen in the store placing items into his backpack. When an employee asked him to instead use a store basket he fled the store.

The loss prevention employee followed him outside and attempted to arrest him, but the male pushed the employee into a concrete pillar and fled.

Responding officers were able to determine the male’s identity but he has not yet been located.

Arrest after daytime break-in

A Guelph man was arrested after a north-end homeowner reported someone inside his garage Thursday morning.

Shortly before 11 a.m. police began receiving calls about a suspicious male in the area of Waverley Drive and Balmoral Drive. One resident reported a male entered his unlocked truck and removed items including a garage door opener, which he used to enter the garage.

Officers arrived and saw the man leaving the garage and approaching another house. The original complainant confirmed the man was wearing a sweater, hat and blanket stolen from the victim’s truck and garage.

A 30-year-old Guelph man is charged with break and enter, possessing stolen property and two counts of breaching a probation order. He was held for a bail hearing Friday.

Lexus SUV stolen

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a Lexus SUV was stolen Friday morning from a south-end driveway.

Approximately 6 a.m. a resident in the Rickson Ridge neighbourhood reported his black 2024 Lexus 500H missing from the driveway. The caller has both sets of keys and reported there was broken glass left behind.

Fatal Collision Involving Cyclist

The Ottawa Police Service is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on Wednesday, May 21st at Bank Street and Daze Street.

Around 2:40 p.m., emergency services responded to a call of a vehicle collision involving a male cyclist.

The cyclist was transported to the hospital with injuries at that time.

On May 25, 2025, the cyclist succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident.
