Kingston Has Fallen – Police Shutdown Fair After Attacks #NationalGuard?

The Kingston Fall Fair was shut down early on Saturday evening after multiple incidents occurred which required police intervention.

On September 13, 2025, at approximately 10:05 p.m. the Kingston Police were called to the Memorial Centre grounds regarding a report of someone deploying bear spray into a crowd of people at the fall fair.

Officers attended and found two individuals who had been sprayed by bear spray being treated by members of the Frontenac Paramedic Service. Their injuries were minor in nature and did not require further medical attention.

Due to a lack of video surveillance and witnesses, officers were unable to identify a suspect responsible for the incident. The investigation is currently ongoing, and the incident is believed to be an isolated incident.

Two other unrelated incidents resulted in the arrest of two young offenders. A 15-year-old individual was arrested for weapons offences and breach of release conditions, while another incident led to the arrest of a 17-year-old individual for breach of release conditions. Both individuals were held in custody for a bail hearing.

As a result of these incidents the fair was shut down at approximately 10:30 p.m.

OPP Kills First, Explains Later – Red Rock Incident Update

(RED ROCK, ON) – On 10 September 2025 at approximately 11:30pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Nipigon Detachment, responded to reports of an aggressive bear in the Brompton Road area. The bear had reportedly charged at and growled at residents, causing concern for public safety. Despite efforts to deter the animal, it could not be safely scared away or relocated.

Before taking action to destroy any animal, OPP officers assess the threat to public safety, the feasibility of relocation, and the ability to carry out the intervention safely within a residential setting. In this case, due to the immediate risk posed and the inability to safely relocate the bear, officers were required to dispatch the animal.

With the cooler temperatures approaching, fall time is an important time to be aware of bears. There have been many sightings recently as bears are starting to bulk up for winter. With bears preparing for winter hibernation, fall is when people need to be the most aware. Bears tend to find their way into residential areas this time of year in search of food.

Not every bear sighting is an emergency, here is who to call if you encounter a bear.

Non-Emergency Encounters

Call the toll-free Bear Wise reporting line at 1-866-514-2327 (TTY 705-945-7641) if a bear is:

  • Roaming around, checking garbage cans
  • Breaking into a shed where garbage or food is stored
  • In a tree
  • Pulling down a bird feeder or knocking over a barbecue

For Emergency Situations

Call 911 if a bear poses an immediate threat to personal safety by exhibiting threatening or aggressive behavior, such as:

  • Entering a school yard when school is in session
  • Stalking people and lingering on-site
  • Entering or trying to enter a residence
  • Wandering into a public gathering
  • Killing livestock/pets and lingering on site.

The Nipigon OPP would also like to provide some safety tips:

  • Never feed or approach bears
  • Secure food, garbage and recycling
  • Remove bird feeder when bears are active
  • Never leave pet food outdoors
  • Clean and Store BBQ grills and smokers
  • Alert neighbors to bear activity

Pervert Alert – 71 Year Old Arrested For Sexual Assault

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Major Crime Unit has charged one individual in relation to a historical sexual assault investigation.

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, officers entered into an investigation after receiving a report of a sexual assault that occurred in the community of Alliston dating back to March 2005.

As a result of this investigation, Mark DUBOIS, 71-years-old of Orangeville, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Sexual Assault 
  • Sexual Exploitation

The accused was arrested and subsequently released. He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in early October.

Hit & Run Driver Tajinderpal SINGH Facing Numerous Charges

(TAY VALLEY TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Brampton resident after recovering a stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, just after 10:00 a.m., officers in Tay Valley Township responded to reports that three stolen vehicles from the Toronto area were observed eastbound on Highway 7.

Officers attempted to stop one of the vehicles on Fallbrook Rd. The driver used the vehicle to contact the police cruiser before fleeing the area on foot. Members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit located the driver a short time later.

Tajinderpal SINGH, 25-years-old of Brampton, was arrested and charged with:

·        Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

·        Dangerous operation

·        Flight from Police

·        Obstruct a Peace officer

·        Use plate not authorized

·        Fail to remain

·        Possess unmarked tobacco

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Thursday, September 18, 2025

A second vehicle was also recovered by Frontenac OPP.

Crypto Fraud – Jun Yi WU

(ORILLIA, ON) – A Mississauga resident is facing criminal charges following a cybercrime investigation.

In May 2023, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Cybercrime Investigations Team (CIT) launched an investigation into fraudulent activity used to access cryptocurrency accounts.

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, OPP CIT members executed a search warrant at a residence in Mississauga, where investigators seized multiple electronic devices.

As a result of the investigation, Jun Yi WU, 24 years of age of Mississauga, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·      Identity theft, section 402.2(1)

·      Fraud, section 380(1)

·      Use of a forged document, section 368(1)

·      Identity fraud, section 403(1)

The accused has been released from custody is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

$400,000 PROLINE Sports Betting Scam #CrimeDoesPay!

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Investigation and Enforcement Bureau (IEB) has laid charges against two individuals in connection with suspicious Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) PROLINE sports betting activity in Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay.

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the IEB, attached to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), was contacted by the OLG regarding suspicious betting activity at several gas bar locations. The investigation revealed that thousands of gift cards had been compromised, resulting in fraud exceeding $400,000.

As a result of the lengthy investigation, two people have been charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code:

Joshua SILVA, age 36 of Thunder Bay, was charged with:

·      Fraud over $5,000

·      Laundering proceeds of crime

·      Conspiracy

·      Identity theft

·      Forgery

·      Utter forged document

·      Possession of property obtained by crime

The accused has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Montgomery McMAHON, age 45 of Thunder Bay, was charged with:

·      Fraud over $5,000

·      Laundering proceeds of crime

·      Conspiracy

·      Utter forged document

·      Possession of property obtained by crime

The accused has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

School Panics & Goes Into Hold & Secure Over Musical Instrument

(TOWNSHIP OF CRAMAHE, ON) – On September 17, 2025, at approximately 1:55 p.m., members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious person believed to be carrying a weapon in the area of Cemetery Road in Castleton.

As a precaution, a nearby school was placed in a hold and secure. This safety protocol restricts movement in and out of the building while allowing staff and students to continue regular activities inside. It is implemented to ensure the safety of everyone while police conduct their investigation.

There was an increased police presence in the area as officers located and spoke with an individual at the cemetery who was found to be in possession of a musical instrument. The hold and secure was lifted shortly before 2:25 p.m.

Northumberland OPP would like to thank the public and school staff for their cooperation.

Adam LOWE Was Arrested

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a Grand Valley resident criminally stemming from a traffic stop.

On September 17, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative, which resulted in a traffic stop being conducted on Scotland Street within Fergus.

As a result of the investigation, Adam LOWE, a 37-year-old of Grand Valley is charged under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – cocaine
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Use plate not authorized for vehicle
  • Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
  • Driving while under suspension

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on October 24, 2025.

Fatal Collision – Details Released

(KINGSVILLE, ON) – On September 17, 2025, at approximately 11:04 p.m., members of the Kingsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment, Kingsville Fire and Rescue and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a collision involving a cyclist and passenger vehicle on County Road 20, west of McCain Side Road in the Town of Kingsville.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured; however, the 43-year-old male cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Members of the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) are assisting Kingsville Detachment with the investigation.

As a result of the collision, County Road 20 is closed between McCain Side Road and County Road 23 (Arner Townline) in Kingsville.

Canada Wide Warrant For Tegmina Konstanovna AGADZHANYAN

(INNISFIL, ON) – The South Simcoe Police Service is issuing an update in relation to the child abduction investigation and warrant issued for Tegmina Konstanovna AGADZHANYAN.

The arrest warrant previously authorized for AGADZHANYAN has now been endorsed as a Canada-wide warrant. This means that if Tegmina Konstanovna AGADZHANYAN returns to Canada, in any province or through any port of entry, she will be immediately taken into custody and brought before the court to answer to the charges she is facing.

The issuance of a Canada-wide warrant is a key development that will assist in advancing the investigation and is anticipated to enhance collaborative efforts between Canadian and Russian authorities.

The South Simcoe Police Service takes all allegations involving the abduction of a child extremely seriously and investigates them thoroughly. The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available and as the investigation permits.

Another Neck Stabbing – Port Hope

Port Hope Police have charged a 28-year-old Ajax man following an assault that was reported after the fact. The incident occurred at a gathering in Port Hope on September 13, 2025. Police were contacted on September 17, 2025.

The victim sustained a serious neck injury after being assaulted with a knife and required hospital treatment. 

The accused has been charged with:

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Cobourg Police Daily Update 18Sept2025

Male Arrested for Failing to Comply with Release Order

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Cobourg Police responded to a disturbance in the area of King Street and Division Street in Cobourg.  Upon arrival, officers located a male who was known to have an outstanding warrant. The male was arrested on the strength of the warrant.  As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old man from Cobourg was charged with Failing to Comply with a Release Order.  The male was held for a bail hearing.

A 53-year-old Cobourg man is facing mischief charges after causing damage to a vehicle in the Town of Cobourg.

At approximately 3:35 p.m., on September 17, 2025, police responded to a report of a male ramming a shopping cart into a car. Police learned that the suspect was walking across the street as the vehicle approached. As the complainant drove past, the accused turned the cart and rammed the vehicle. The complainant’s vehicle sustained minor damage.

As a result of the police investigation, a 53-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.

Video Of Thief Released! Call 911 Immediately If Recognized

COBOURG (September 17, 2025) – The Cobourg Police Service (CPS) is currently investigating two thefts of lottery tickets from two gas stations in the Town of Cobourg.

On September 4, 2025, police responded to a report of theft from a gas station on Division Street. At approximately 5:20 p.m., a man entered the store and while an employee turned their back, the man stole approximately 124 lottery tickets.

A similar theft occurred at a second gas station on Division Street, where approximately three lottery tickets were stolen. The suspect was seen arriving and departing the area in a navy-blue Dodge Caravan.

Police are investigating whether these incidents are connected to similar incidents in other jurisdictions. The investigation is ongoing, and police are looking to identify the suspect. Wanted Criminals Immediately Released By Police In Bizarre Demonstration Of Broken System

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday, as the result of an unwanted person call for service, officers on community patrol located the individual who was known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 after being charged earlier this month. The 36 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25016931/16942

A 65 year old St. Thomas resident charged with one count of Assault in relation to a dispute between neighbours has been arrested. On Wednesday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on the outstanding warrant, was processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. Police Warn: Stop Handing Over Your Bank Cards To Strangers! #SmartenUP #Don’tBeADipshit

The St. Thomas Police Service is investigating several similar fraud incidents recently reported to police.

In each case, residents reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from their bank’s fraud department. The caller advises that their accounts have been compromised and that a representative would attend their home to collect their bank cards. In some instances, victims were provided with a false security code and told that temporary replacement cards would be delivered the following day.

The suspects then attended the homes, collected the cards, and used them to make unauthorized transactions. In one case, the victim was also directed to complete multiple e-transfers, resulting in a loss of $20,000. Reported financial losses connected to these investigations range from several thousand dollars to tens of thousands of dollars.

Descriptions of the suspects vary, but all similarly describes males in their 30s to 40s. In one incident, the suspect was observed wearing a yellow reflective vest. A silver SUV has also been associated with one of the pick-ups.

Investigators believe these frauds are connected and want to remind the public that financial institutions will never send someone to your home to collect your bank cards. If you receive a call of this nature, hang up and contact your bank directly using the number on the back of your card or by calling the local location of your bank.

Police are urging residents, particularly seniors, to remain alert and to share this information with friends, family and neighbours who may be vulnerable to such schemes.
