Police Cruiser Damaged In Goderich Incident – Trevor STRUTH Arrested Again #3Strikes

(GODERICH, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Goderich on November 15, 2025.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, just before 2:00 p.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who was reportedly causing a disturbance at a retail business property on Huron Road in Goderich. Police located the suspect, who proceeded to hit a police cruiser with a hockey stick, then flee on a bicycle. The accused was later located, arrested, and charged as follows:

Trevor STRUTH, 48 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:

–      Causing a Disturbance,

–      Assault a Peace Officer,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation – (three counts).

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were later released from custody. The accused has a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 15, 2025.

Mount Forest Incident – Ashley HOTCHKISS Arrested

(WELLINGOTN NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – An incident in Mount Forest has led to drug possession charges for an Arthur resident.

On December 6, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of an incident at an address in Mount Forest where they found an individual to be in possession of methamphetamine.

As a result of the investigation, Ashley HOTCHKISS, a 38-year-old from Arthur, is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on January 6, 2026.

One Airlifted After School Bus Collision

(CHATSWORTH, ON) – On December 8, 2025, at approximately 8:23 a.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a two vehicle collision on Highway 10 at Sideroad 70, Township of Chatsworth.

Police attended the scene and discovered a collision involving a school bus and a pickup truck. Two students on board of the school bus were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the pickup truck has been air lifted to a London area trauma centre.

Highway 10 is closed between Sideroad 60 and Sideroad 80. Sideroad 70 is closed between East Back Line and West Back Line. Closure will be in place while investigators determine the cause of the collision. Updates to follow when available.

60 Year Old From ACW Arrested – Name Released

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 15, 2025, in the Town of Goderich. 

Just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on Wolfe Street in Goderich. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Christopher PLANT, 60 years-of-age from ACW Twp has been charged with:

–      Impaired Operation – Over 80.

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 29, 2025.

Numerous Assaults In ACW #WaitInTheTruck

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH TWP, ON) – On November 11, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh (ACW).

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed criminal acts against their partner.

A 44-year-old individual from ACW Twp has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal – (six counts),

–      Assault with a Weapon – (two counts),

–      Aggravated Assault – Spousal,

–      Assault Causing Bodily Harm – Spousal – (four counts),

–      Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm – Spousal.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing. The accused was later remanded into custody with a later court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Repeat Offender Arrested On Remembrance Day In Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Goderich on November 11, 2025.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, just before 10:00 a.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who was reportedly causing a disturbance and kicking over Remembrance Day wreaths as organizers were setting up displays for the event being held on the Goderich Square. Police located the suspect, who proceeded to resist arrest. The accused was eventually taken into custody and charged as follows:

Deseree VOISIN, 27 years-of-age of Huron East was charged with:

–      Causing a Disturbance,

–      Resist Peace Officer,

–      Assault,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation – (two counts).

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody. The accused has a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 15, 2025.

Clinton Home Invsion: Stephanie ELLIOTT Arrested Again #3Strikes

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Clinton, (Municipality of Central Huron).

On Sunday, November 09, 2025, at 09:30 a.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted by a homeowner who discovered someone unlawfully inside the homeowner’s residence, located on Albert Street in Clinton. Police located the suspect inside the home, and they were promptly arrested. The accused was identified and charged as follows:

Stephanie ELLIOTT, 46 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:

–      Unlawfully in a Dwelling House,

–      Mischief,

–      Failing to Comply with Probation Order.

Christopher EADIE From Morris-Turnberry Was Arrested – Details Released

(HOWICK, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Morris-Turnberry Township resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 08, 2025, in Howick Township. 

Just after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 08, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on Salem Road in Howick Twp. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

More Assaults – Names Withheld #KeepItInTheFamily

(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – On the evening of December 3, 2025, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to two separate incidents of intimate partner violence resulting in arrests.

At approximately 9:18 p.m., police responded to a disturbance between intimate partners at a residence in Walkerton, where it is alleged that an assault occurred.

A 62-year-old resident of Brockton was charged with:

  • Assault with a weapon, CC 267(a)
  • Mischief, CC 430(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

At approximately 10:36 p.m., police responded to another altercation between intimate partners in Arran-Elderslie, where it is alleged that an assault occurred.

A 50-year-old resident of Arran-Elderslie was charged with:

  • Assault, CC 266 – three counts
  • Uttering threats, CC 264.1(1)(a)

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice and subsequently released from custody. They are set to reappear at a later date.

The offender is known to frequent Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Milton Ontario. He also has ties in the Province of Newfoundland.

Home Invasion – Nicholas HALLEY Arrested AGAIN! #3Strikes

(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following a break and enter to a Bluewater residence on November 04, 2025.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 04, 2025, an individual was observed by homeowners unlawfully in their residence on London Road in the Municipality of Bluewater. Officers arrived on scene within minutes and observed the suspect flee on foot. The suspect then stole an unlocked pickup truck from a nearby residence. Police followed the stolen vehicle and later located it abandoned in the Town of Clinton. The suspect was located by police, hiding in a residence, and subsequently arrested. They were identified and charged with several criminal offences as follows:

Nicholas HALLEY, 37 years-of-age from no fixed address has been charged with:

–      Break and Enter Dwelling House – Commit Indictable Offence – (two counts),

–      Theft of Motor Vehicle,

–      Assault,

–      Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing, where they were remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

16 Year Old Arrested For Spousal Assault #WaitInTheTruck

(GODERICH, ON) – On November 08, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Town of Goderich.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed several criminal acts against their partner.

A 16-year-old young person from Central Huron has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal – (two counts),

–      Assault Causing Bodily Harm,

–      Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm – Spousal,

–      Mischief.

The identity of the accused is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Youth Court of Justice – Goderich.

70 Year Old From Listowel Deceased Following Collision

(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a collision outside of Moorefield that has resulted in a fatality.

On December 2, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP, alongside the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team and local paramedic and fire services responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 10 between Booth Street and Concession Road 6, outside of Moorefield.

As a result of the collision, a 70-year-old male from Listowel was pronounced deceased on scene. One other individual was taken to local hospital as a precaution with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wellington Road 10 has since reopened.

McDOUGALL Arrested For Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Welland, Ontario resident with criminal driving offences following a traffic stop on Bluewater Highway in the Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just before 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 07, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding and spoke to the vehicle driver who had consumed alcohol prior to driving.

The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Perth County OPP detachment in Sebringville where they provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician. Breath samples were provided to police which resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Danielle McDOUGALL, 31 years-of-age from Welland has been charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs,

–      Operation while Impaired – Over 80.

The accused was additionally charged with two offences found in the Cannabis Control Act (CCA) and the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 8th, 2025.

33 Year Old From Walkerton Arrested – Detials Released

(BROCKTON, ON) – On November 27, 2025, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fail to remain collision in the area of South Street and Yonge Street, Municipality of Brockton.

At approximately 9:21 p.m., a concerned citizen contacted police after observing a pick-up truck strike a stop sign in Walkerton before fleeing the area. A description of the vehicle was provided, and the investigating officer was able to locate a vehicle matching the description shortly thereafter. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected signs of alcohol consumption. A lawful demand was made for the driver to provide a sample of their breath, which was refused. The driver was placed under arrest.

Daniel PHARANT, 33-years-old, resident of Walkerton was charged with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand, CC 320.15(1)
  • Fail to remain, HTA 200(1)
  • Fail to report accident, HTA 199(1)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on December 17, 2025, to answer to the charges. The vehicle was impounded for 7 days, the drivers licence of the accused was suspended for 90 days.
