David JEDRIAK Facing Numerous Charges

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Driver facing multiple charges after traffic stop.

On December 14, 2024, at 1:55 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while performing a traffic enforcement initiative on Longwoods Road in Southwest Middlesex, observed a vehicle travelling in excess of the 50km/h speed limit.  

The vehicle turned into an address on Haggerty Road, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

It was determined the driver turned into the address in an effort to elude police.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, David JEDRIAK, a 58-year-old of Wardsville, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code

·      Trespassing at Night

·      Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit

·      Use plate not authorized for vehicle

·      Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle

·      Fail to surrender insurance card

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 4, 2025.

20 Year Old Arrested For Drunk Driving – Name Released

(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) – Officers from the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving after receiving a complaint about a vehicle stopped on Chemong Road.

On Saturday December 14, 2024, the Peterborough County OPP received a call from a concerned motorist reporting that a vehicle was parked on the side of the road with the engine running and what appeared to be vomit on the driver’s side door. The caller reported that the driver also appeared to be sleeping in the vehicle.

Officers arrived on scene to find the driver asleep behind the wheel. Officers woke the individual and determined that they were under the influence of alcohol at which point they were arrested.

Jackson ENDICOTT (age 20) of Selwyn Township, ON., was arrested and charged with:

·      Operation while impaired

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Young Driver – B.A.C. above zero

The accused had their drivers licence suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on January 21, 2025.

Repeat Offender Arrested Again – Dimitri HENRY: Assault With Weapon

(KENORA, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Kenora have arrested and charged one individual with assault and weapons charges.

On December 12, 2024, at approximately 1:00 PM., members of the Kenora OPP Detachment responded to an incident on Water Street, in the City of Kenora. Officers attended and located and arrested a male. Through the investigation, it was learned that the male had assaulted several people on the property.

Dimitri HENRY, 30-years-old of Kenora Ontario has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Assault with a weapon

·      Assault

·      Failure to comply with release order

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora at a later date.

Christian PAYPOMPEE – Impaired Driving

(KENORA, ON) – Members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment have arrested and charged one individual with impaired operation.

On December 13, 2024, just after 9:30 p.m., members of the Kenora OPP Detachment observed a motor vehicle running in a parking lot in the Cambrian Drive area.

Through investigation, it was determined that the driver of the motor vehicle was impaired by drug. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported back to the Kenora OPP Detachment for further testing.

Christian PAYPOMPEE, 32-years-old, of Kenora, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·      Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code

The accused was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on December 14, 2024.

Terry HUSBANDS – Drunk Driving

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a York resident with a criminal charge, stemming from a traffic stop.

On December 15, 2024, at approximately 4:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were conducting a traffic enforcement initiative when they detected a suspicious motor vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Wellington Road 52 within the Town of Erin.

As a result of the investigation, Terry HUSBANDS, a 36-year-old of York was charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on December 24, 2024.

18 Year Old Deceased Following Collision

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the OPP Technical Collision Investigation team are continuing to investigate a fatal collision.

On Friday, December 13, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Renfrew OPP attended a collision involving a car and a transport truck on Highway 17 at Storyland Road.

The driver of the car, an 18-year-old male from Shawville, Quebec, was transported to hospital for life threatening injuries. He was later pronounced deceased at hospital.

The highway was closed for several hours to allow for the Technical Collision Investigator (OPP) and the Reconstructionist (OPP) to conduct the investigation.

Andre SANTOS Was Arrested

(MONO, ON) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Caledon resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of a police investigation.

On December 15, 2024, just after 4:00 a.m., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to a suspicious person/vehicle in the area of Airport Road in the Town of Mono. After a brief conversation, the officers were quickly led to an impaired driving investigation.

Andre SANTOS, a 29-year-old male, from Caledon has been charged with:

•      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after traffic stop.

On December 14, 2024, at 1:16 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Richmond Street in Middlesex Centre, performed a traffic stop on a vehicle.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Marcus WEILER, a 48-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on February 6, 2025.

Repeat Offender Arrested Again – Dustin RICHARDSON

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen vehicle and shortly locate the suspect, placing them into custody and recovering the stolen vehicle.

On December 15, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were on patrol within Palmerston when a report came in of a recent stolen vehicle.

As a result of the investigation and swift actions by uniform members of the OPP, Dustin RICHARDSON, a 34-year-old from North Perth, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Theft of Motor Vehicle
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Break & Enter – Dustin HUBBARD & Bridget LIVINGSTON Arrested

(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – Middlesex County OPP investigating a break and enter to a property in North Middlesex. 

On December 13, 2024, at 12:11 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a property on Creamery Road in North Middlesex for the report of a break and enter in progress.

As officers arrived on scene two individuals were observed fleeing the area on foot.

Members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine located and arrested two individuals not far from the scene.

The pair were operating a vehicle which had become stuck. The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen.

As a result, Dustin HUBBARD, a 33-year-old of Sarnia, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada

The accused was held for bail.

As a result, Bridget LIVINGSTON, a 33-year-old of West Perth, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 29, 2025, to speak to the charges.

Joseph CARUSO Facing Sexual Assault Charges

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with an ongoing historical sexual assault investigation.

On November 25, 2024, the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating a report of a series of sexual assault incidents that took place between May 2024 and November 2024 at a Talbot Street address.

As a result, one individual was taken into custody without incident.

31-year-old Joseph CARUSO of Cayuga has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Sexual Assault (three counts)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.

Raphael COTE – Hit & Run, Careless Driving

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – An individual from Long Sault faces multiple charges after a car collided with several other vehicles on Highway 401 westbound.

It happened Friday, December 13, 2024, with incidents starting in the Leeds County area, moving west through the Kingston and Napanee areas. The car collided with multiple other westbound vehicles and the driver refused to stop for police.

The incident involved officers from the Leeds County and Lennox and Addington County Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), as well as members of the OPP Highway Safety Division, OPP Emergency Response Team and an OPP helicopter.

An arrest was made after the vehicle left the highway at Shannonville Road and entered a parking lot. No injuries were reported. 

Raphael COTE, age 29 of Long Sault, has been charged with:

  • Dangerous operation – two counts
  • Careless driving
  • Failure to stop after an accident – four counts
  • Flight from a peace officer
  • Stunt driving

The accused was released to the custody of another police service in relation to another matter. The individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on January 24, 2025, and before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee in February 11, 2025.

Adrian CHAKASIM – Drunk Driving

(Moosonee, ON) – A 911 call reporting a ditched vehicle in Moosonee resulted in an impaired driving arrest by the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

On December 14, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver who had driven a vehicle out of a ditch in Moosonee.

The driver and vehicle were located shortly after, and officers determined the individual had been operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Adrian CHAKASIM, 25 years of age of Moosonee, was arrested and charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 14, 2025, in Moosonee. Additionally, the accused received a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS).

Stephanie THIVIERGE – Drunk Driving

(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – A 27-year-old from London has been arrested after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Brant County Detachment members responded to a traffic complaint Saturday night in the County of Brant.

On Saturday December 14, 2024, at approximately 9:43 p.m., Brant County OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 403 in the County of Brant. The caller observed driving behaviour that caused them to be concerned and contacted police. Police located the vehicle where one person was arrested and transported to Brantford Police Service for testing.

Police have charged 27-year-old Stephanie THIVIERGE from London with the following offences:

 ·     Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)  

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario on January 3, 2025.

(GRAND BEND, ON) – On December 14, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Ontario Street at River Drive in Grand Bend.

As a result of the investigation, Lauren DIANIS NUNEZ, 36-year-old of Port Franks, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Drive motor vehicle, no permit

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 13, 2025, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charges.
