Do You Recognize These Suspects

LONDON, ON (December 19, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance as the result of an ongoing investigation.

At approximately 10:10 a.m., on Sunday, December 8, 2024, an employee of a business called police to report property damage and theft of property from a business in the 400-block of Pond Mills Road.

Video surveillance was reviewed, and officers learned that two male suspects damaged and stole property from the business shortly after 4 a.m. that morning.

The suspects have not yet been identified, and the investigation had been reassigned to the LPS Street Crime Unit.

Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects and asking anyone who may have been in the area between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on December 8, 2024, with dashcam footage, residential or business video surveillance that may assist with the investigation to contact the London Police Service.

The property damage is estimated to be approximately $22, 000.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Another “Falls” Off Building After Wellness Check

LONDON, ON (December 19, 2024) – On Thursday, December 19, 2024, shortly after 1 p.m., officers attended an apartment building in the 3000-block of Pomeroy Lane to locate a male for whom police had safety concerns.  

At approximately 1:30 p.m., while on scene, officers were alerted to a 9-1-1 call reporting that someone had fallen from a balcony at the same location. 

The officers immediately attended to the individual and located an injured adult male outside the building. The man was transported to hospital by paramedic services, where he was later pronounced deceased. 

The Special Investigations Unit was notified and has invoked its mandate. As such, all inquiries regarding the investigation may be directed to the Special Investigations Unit at 416-622-0748 or 1-800-787-8529.

3 Arrested Following Stolen Vehicle Collision

Three males are facing charges after they fled from a stolen vehicle following a collision in Clarington.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at approximately 1:55 a.m., members of East Division responded to a collision in the area of Brown Street and King Street East.  A black Honda SUV left the roadway and hit a light post.  Witnesses reported that there were three occupants in the vehicle who fled the area prior to police arrival.  It was subsequently learned that the vehicle was reported stolen.  Officers searched the area and located the three suspects, who were taken into custody without incident.

Anthony Robert HENRI, age 33 from Ajax is charged with: Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Driving While Under Suspension, Use Unauthorized Plate, Fail to Remain, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order x2.

Mark Anthony WINTELS, age 65 from Ajax is charged with: Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.

Justin Jeremy COBURN, age 27 from Clarington is charged with: Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

HENRI and COBURN were held for a bail hearing. WINTELS was released on an Undertaking.

Shots Fired – 2 Arrested

Two Brantford men have been arrested and two firearms seized after a search warrant was executed at a Sheridan Street residence, December 18, 2024.

Officers with the Brantford police received a report of an assault involving a firearm that occurred on Sunday, December 15, 2024. The Brantford Police Service Drug and Firearm Enforcement Unit and BPS Major Crime launched an investigation. 

On December 18, 2024, at approximately 3:34 p.m., with the assistance of the BPS Emergency Response Team and the BPS Ident Unit, a search warrant was executed at the Sheridan Street home.

As a result, two firearms were located and seized. Two men, ages 40 and 41 from Brantford, both who were found in violation of firearms prohibitions, were arrested and stand charged as follows:

The 40-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:

  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Point firearm
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Possession contrary to order

And the 41-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:

  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Point firearm
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Possession contrary to order x 2

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 74 calls for service between 5:00 am on December 18, 2024 to 5:00 am on December 19, 2024.

Stolen vehicle

On 18 December, 2024, at 8:30am, Belleville Police received a call regarding a motor vehicle theft on Munro Avenue in the city’s east end. Between midnight and 8:30am, a Black Nissan Sentra with license plate # CRXA274 was taken from a resident’s driveway. Anyone with information on this is encouraged contact Belleville Police or Crime Stoppers

Arrest on warrants

On 18 December, 2024, at 4:03pm, Belleville Police received a call for service at the Belleville Probation and Parole office for a male wanted on multiple outstanding warrants. Officers attended and arrested 54-year-old Kevin Flood on his two outstanding warrants. Flood faces two counts of fail to comply with probation, one count of fail to comply with release order, and one count of fail to comply with undertaking. Flood was held for a bail hearing on 19 December, 2024.

47-year-old Cobourg male arrested for breach of Release order.
On Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at 3:15 pm, officers were on general patrol in the area of
King Street East and Division Street when they observed a male breaching the conditions of Judicial Release Order by being within 200m of a particular address. As a result, the male was arrested and charged with Fail to comply with Judicial Release Order.

The accused was held in custody pending a Show Cause Hearing on December 19th, 2024, at
9:00am.


A 42-year-old Cobourg man has been arrested for Impaired Operation after police conducted a traffic stop on Thursday.

On Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at 12:15 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Elgin Street and Strathy Road. It was determined that the male was an unlicensed driver and could not provide proof of insurance. While speaking with the driver, police detected a strong odour of alcohol, and the male subsequently failed a roadside screening device test. The male was arrested and transported to Cobourg Police where a breath test was administered. He subsequently failed his breath test and was charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Above 80, Drive Motor Vehicle No License and Fail to Surrender Insurance Card.

The male was released on an undertaking with a January 2025 court date once sober and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Over $300,000 in Stolen Property Recovered

On November 27, 2024, detectives from the 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) Street Crime Unit began an investigation into a break and enter to Turkstra Lumber, located at 4555 Kent Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls where approximately $75,000 worth of plywood was taken. 

 As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to identify two suspects responsible for the break and enter and observed the suspects selling the lumber online.

 On December 16, 2024, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the area of Merritt Road and King Street in Lincoln. The warrant was executed with the assistance of the Emergency Task Unit of the Niagara Regional Police Service, resulting in the arrest of the suspects. A search of the property lead to the discovery of approximately $250,000 worth of machinery stolen from Cooper Rentals in Thorold and a forklift stolen from Battlefield rentals in Stoney Creek, Ontario. The value estimated of the forklift is approximately $72,000. 

Monica Beauchamps (42 years old) of Lincoln, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Break, Enter Commit theft over $5000 (3 Counts)
  • Trafficking in stolen property under $5,000
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking stolen property under $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000
  • Theft of motor vehicle

Manuel Periera (53 years old) of Lincoln, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Break, Enter Commit theft over $5000 (3 Counts)
  • Trafficking in stolen property under $5,000
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking stolen property under $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000
  • Theft of motor vehicle

Manual and Monica were both held in custody pending a bail hearing that took place on December 17, 2024, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church Street in the City of St. Catharines.

PLATER Was Arrested Again

(ORO-MEDONTE, ON) – The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a weapons incident on Hwy 11 North in Oro-Medonte.

On December 19, 2024, at approximately 11:51 a.m., Orillia OPP were dispatched to a call regarding a weapon on Highway 11 North Bound. Orillia OPP responded immediately after learning that a male passenger brandished a firearm at another driver. Shortly after a traffic stop was initiated on Memorial Ave & Woodland Dr in Orillia and a high risk take down was conducted. A 25-year-old male was taken into custody without incident.

Sean PLATER of Clearview Township has been charged with:

·      Adult Fail to Comply with Probation Order

·      Adult Pointing a Firearm

·      Adult Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order X 4

The accused was held for a pending bail hearing.

Another Pedestrian Struck

(MIDLAND, ON) –  A report near the noon hour on December 18, 2024, to the OPP Communication Center of an elderly pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on King Street sent officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to investigate.

Supported by members of the Midland Fire Service, County of Simcoe Paramedic Service the 80 year old female Midland resident was triaged and transported to an area hospital by paramedics and then onward to a Toronto trauma hospital for treatment of serious injuries suffered in the crash.

The pedestrian was struck while crossing King Street between McMurtry Road and Robert Street at approximately 12:09 p.m. by a white Chevrolet being operated by a 74 year old male of Midland.

The investigation into the cause of the crash continues under the direction of OPP Central Region Technical Traffic Collison Investigators.

Thanks to the Town of Midland Roads Department in helping to maintain the road closure on King Street that was lifted shortly after 5:00 p.m.

Hunter TYE Arrested Again – Asault, Break & Etner, Etc.

(SEELEY’S BAY, ON) – One person is facing a lengthy list number of charges following investigations conducted by the Leeds and Frontenac Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

On December 18, 2024, at approximately 8:00 a.m., police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at an address on Main St in Seeley’s Bay. The suspect was not located.

Members returned to the address with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team on the morning of December 19, 2024, where 30 year-old Hunter TYE was safely taken into custody.

The accused has been charged with the following offences:

  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Break-enter dwelling house
  • Criminal harassment – beset and watch
  • Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
  • Dangerous operation
  • Fail to comply with probation order – two counts
  • Failure to comply with release order – six counts
  • Mischief under $5,000
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Unlawfully in dwelling house

The accused attended a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville earlier today, and was remanded into custody until his next bail hearing, scheduled for December 23, 2024.

Break & Enter – Clayton ARCH & Kayla SANDY

(MIDLAND, ON) –  Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call at approximately 10:24 a.m. of a possible break and enter reported at 10:21 a.m. to the apartments above a King Street retail store.

Upon arrival of officers, entry was made to the unsecured apartment and two lethargic and passed out individuals were located in the apartment.

The individuals known to police were arrested and transported to detachment for processing.

Charged criminally is Clayton ARCH 42 years of Midland with the following offences.

  • Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Theft Under $5,000 from a Motor Vehicle

Also charged criminally is Kayla SANDY 28 years of no fixed address Midland with the following offences.

  • Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Fentanyl

Both accused persons were released from custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice  on January 23, 2024.

Clayton ARCH – Theft

(MIDLAND,ON) – An officer from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment while investigating a previously reported shoplifting incident at the Midland LCBO made an arrest after a patron left the store with unpaid for liquor.

The officer arrested and recovered a number of bottles of unpaid for liquor from Clayton ARCH 42 years of Midland at 1:33 p.m. December 19, 2024.

The accused was held for bail court on the following charges of

  • Theft Under $5000- SHOPLIFTING
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice  at a later date.

Braeden BEAUDOIN – Break & Enter, Theft, Etc.

(MIDLAND, ON) –  Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a burglary alarm within minutes at the Elegant Gourmet business on King Street Midland as it became the victim of a break and enter at approximately 5:33 a.m. December 19, 2024.

Upon arrival of officers, a suspect was located within the business who had lacerated a hand in the process of entering the business. The arrested suspect was triaged at the scene by Simcoe County Paramedic Services and transported to Detachment for processing.

Charged criminally is Braeden BEAUDOIN 25 years of no fixed address Orillia with the following offences.

  • Break, Enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
  • Possession Break In Instruments
  • Theft Under $5000
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

The accused was released from custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice  on January 30, 2025

Wanted: Assault With Weapon

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in an Assault with a Weapon investigation.

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., police responded to a Call for a Person with a Knife on board a TTC bus near Victoria Park Station.

It is reported that:

  • a man approached the victim on the TTC bus
  • the man pulled out a knife and threatened the victim in an attempt to rob them
  • the man was unable to obtain anything from the victim
  • the victim exited the bus
  • the man fled in an unknown direction

The man is described as 30-40 years old, 5’10” tall, 165 lbs., with brown hair. He was wearing a black toque, brown jacket, gray sweater, black shirt, blue jeans and carrying a black backpack.

Fatal Drive By Shooting

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a Homicide investigation.

On Thursday, December 19, 2024, at approximately 12:13 a.m., police responded to a call for a Shooting that occurred at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road.

It is reported that:

  • the victim was walking in the area when he was shot by suspect(s) that were travelling in a vehicle
  • officers arrived on scene and located the male victim who had been shot
  • life-saving measures were performed, and the victim was transported to hospital by paramedics
  • the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital

The victim has been identified as Adam Christopher Moncrieffe, 34, of Toronto.

If you were in the area at the time of this incident or have any information that could assist with this investigation, please contact police.

Any businesses in the area with video surveillance or anyone driving in this area around midnight who might have dash camera footage, we are asking you to contact investigators to have this video reviewed.
