22 Year Old Arrested In Brockton

(BROCKTON, ON) – On July 2, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspicious person at a business along McNab Street in Walkerton, Municipality of Brockton.

Police attended and learned that the individual was attempting to complete a driving test while using an identification that did not match their appearance; they were subsequently placed under arrest.

As a result of the investigation, Rajveer SINGH, 22-years-old, resident of Etobicoke, was charged with:

  • Personation with intent (identity fraud), CC 403(1)
  • Identity theft – possess another persons identity information, CC 402.2(1)
  • Forgery, CC 366(1)

The accused is set to appear on August 13, 2025, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.

One Dead – Chelsey KILAR Charged

(SHUNIAH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad have made an arrest in relation to a fatal collision that happened on Highway 11/17 near Mirror Lake in Shuniah Township on December 17, 2023.

As a result of the investigation Chelsey KILAR, 36-years-old, of Red Rock Ontario has been arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for the following charges under the Criminal Code:

·      Dangerous operation causing death

·      Operation causing death

·      Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 7, 2025

Body Of Missing Boater Recovered

(KINGSTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in coordination with the Canadian Coast Guard and Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC), has recovered the body of a missing boater following an incident near Milton Island on the St. Lawrence River.

On Monday June 30, 2025, members of the Frontenac OPP and the OPP Marine Unit responded to a report of a male who had fallen off a boat, struck his head on the propellor, and failed to resurface.

Search efforts were conducted over the following two days and on Wednesday July 2, 2025, the body of a 58 year-old male from Toronto was recovered near the location where the incident occurred.

The investigation is ongoing and the identity of the deceased is not being released at this time.

Drug Bust – DYCK & VERLINT

(CARLING, ON) – The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged two people with drug related offences after a traffic stop on Highway 69 in Carling Township.

On June 26, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m. officers stopped the vehicle for a speeding. The driver was arrested for stunt driving and a subsequent investigation revealed over $5000 of Canadian currency and suspected cocaine and heroin with a combined estimated street value of approximately $100,000. 

Breaden DYCK , 22-years-old from Ancaster was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed
  • Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
  • Drive motor vehicle with cannabis readily available
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – heroin

Zachary VERLINT, 26-years-old from Stoney Creek was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5000
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – heroin

Both accused were held for bail before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound and are scheduled to appear on July 31 2025.

Emily GRAHAME Was Arrested Again #3Strikes

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a wanted party, which resulted in additional drug related charges.

On Monday, June 30, 2025, shortly after 4:00p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop when an officer recognized a wanted party while on general patrol. During the investigation one person was arrested and a search of the vehicle located cocaine and methamphetamine.

Emily GRAHAME, 27 of Bancroft has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
  • Failure to comply with a release order – three counts

GRAHAME was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on July 2, 2025.

John COOK – Drunk Driving

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired operation.

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, just after 6:30 p.m., Bancroft OPP officers were conducting traffic patrol on Highway 28 South in Faraday Township. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a Highway Traffic Act offense. An Approved Screening Device was used during the stop, as a result the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

John COOK, a 57-year-old resident of Oshawa, has been charged with the following:

–      Operation while impaired – alcohol

–      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on August 5, 2025.

Evon COSSAR – Drunk Driving

(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving related charges because of a traffic hazard.

On June 28, 2025, shortly after 1:00 a.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a traffic hazard of a possible impaired driver in Clearview Township.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle on County Road 42. During the interaction, officers formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to an arrest. As a result of the investigation, Evon COSSAR, 45-year-old of Kitchener, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Collingwood on July 22, 2025, to answer to the charges.

Paul KEEN Was Arrested

(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving related charges because of a traffic tip.

On June 30, 2025, shortly after 12:30 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a traffic tip of a possible impaired driver in Springwater Township.

During the interaction, officers formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to an arrest. As a result of the investigation, Paul KEEN, 52-year-old of Barrie, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Collingwood on August 12, 2025, to answer to the charges.

Melchor RODRIGUEZ Was Arrested

(HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, ON) -On Sunday June 29, 2025, a member from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a prohibited driver on County Road 45, just north of Highway 401.

At approximately 9:15 pm, while driving southbound on County Road 45, an officer was alerted by the Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) that the registered owner of a plate that was attached to a silver Toyota sedan travelling on County Road 45 was a suspended driver. The officer conducted a traffic stop and observed the driver quickly switch seats with an individual that was in the passenger seat. Upon investigation it was found that the individual who was operating the vehicle was a prohibited driver. As a result, Melchor RODRIGUEZ (age 49) of Scarborough Ontario, was arrested and charged with:

• Operation While Prohibited

• Obstruct Peace Officer

The accused was released by the OPP with conditions to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on a date later in July 2025.

54 Year Old From Kincardine Arrested

(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) – On July 1, 2025, at approximately 11:08 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Bruce Road 6 east of Ripley, Township of Huron-Kinloss.

Police attended and discovered that a pick-up truck had entered the ditch, the driver departed prior to police arrival.

As a result of the investigation, Rodney HUSK, 54-years-old, resident of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)
  • Dangerous operation, CC 320.13(1)
  • Fail to remain, HTA 200(1)(a)
  • Fail to report accident, HTA 199(1)

The accused is set to appear on August 13, 2025, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.

Another Fatality In Lake Huron

(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) – One individual has died following an incident at Ipperwash Beach, Lake Huron, in the Municipality of Lambton Shores.

On June 29, 2025, at approximately 6:20 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Lambton Emergency Medical Services, and local fire responded to a request for assistance on Ipperwash Beach, near the end of Ipperwash Road.

Police attended and located an unresponsive individual who had been brought to shore by another person.

Early investigation determined that the individual had entered shallow water after diving from a vessel and became unresponsive.

The 44-year-old of Lambton Shores was transported to hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.

The investigation is continuing.

The Lambton County OPP would like to thank the members of the public who provided assistance prior to the arrival of emergency responders.

Collision On 86 Sends 5 To Hospital

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with local emergency services attended the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 86, just outside of Ariss.

On July 1, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a serious head-on collision involving two motor vehicles, resulting in Wellington Road 86 being closed between Eighth Line East and Sideroad 16, within Guelph-Eramosa Township.

As a result of the collision, five individuals were transported to hospital, including a 16-year-old passenger who sustained life-altering injuries; All drivers and passengers involved suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Wellington Road 86 will remain closed between Eighth Line East and Sideroad 16, pending the current investigation. Reopening is currently unknown at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing. Information will be provided when available.

Aggravated Assault – David BAILLARGEON

(TECUMSEH, ON)- Tecumseh Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment with the assistance of the Essex County OPP Crime Unit is investigating an assault in the Town of Tecumseh.

On June 29, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the report of an assault on Arlington Boulevard near Hayes Avenue in Tecumseh. The victim sustained injuries that required hospitalization. 

As a result, David BAILLARGEON, 56 years of age of Windsor, has been charged with:

·      Aggravated Assault

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice -Windsor on August 5, 2025.

Essex County OPP is continuing to investigate the incident and is seeking the public’s assistance. Anyone who may have been in the area of Arlington Boulevard and Hayes Avenue between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on June 29th, that has dashcam or anyone in the area who has home surveillance is being asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.

Drug Bust – PERSAUD, GEORGE & BRAKE

(SOUTHGATE, ON) – The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance of multiple specialized OPP units, has concluded a significant drug trafficking investigation in the Southgate area.

In May 2025, the Grey Bruce CSCU initiated an investigation into suspected trafficking of Schedule I substances. As a result of the investigation, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrants were executed at multiple residences in the Southgate area on June 27, 2025.

The operation involved members of the OPP West Region and Central Region Tactics and Rescue Units (TRU), Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Canine Unit, and several Community Street Crime Units from across the province.

During the execution of the warrants, detectives seized:

  • 65 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 28 grams of suspected heroin
  • 10.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine
  • Five prohibited weapons/devices, including an overcapacity handgun magazine
  • A stolen motorcycle valued at approximately $5,500
  • Suspected drug trafficking paraphernalia
  • Approximately $550 in Canadian currency

The estimated street value of the seized controlled substances is approximately $10,300. This seizure represents a significant disruption to the local drug trade.

The following individuals have been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:

Sabrina PERSAUD, 38-year-old of Dundalk:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

Rajith GEORGE, 43-year-old of Dundalk:

  • Possession of a Weapon Knowing it is Prohibited (Five counts)
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

Jennifer BRAKE, 39-year-old of Dundalk:

  • Possession of a Weapon Knowing it is Prohibited (Five counts)
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

PERSAUD was held for a bail hearing and remanded until July 2, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound. BRAKE and GEORGE were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on July 24, 2025, also in Owen Sound.

Sheena HARRISON Arrested Twice Same Day #3Strikes

(DRYDEN, ON) – Members of the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance from members of the Dryden OPP detachment and the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team, have arrested and charged an individual for drug trafficking.

On June 28, 2025, just before 4:00 a.m., members of the Dryden OPP received a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on Government Street in the City of Dryden. The investigation resulted in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine and crack cocaine, as well as further evidence of drug trafficking.

As a result of the investigation, Sheena HARRISON, 40-years-old, of Wabigoon, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following offence under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

The accused was released from custody and scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on August 25, 2025.

Later that same day, just before 9:00 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Highway 17 in the Municipality of Machin. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sheena HARRISON and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine, as well as further evidence of drug trafficking.

As a result of that investigation, Sheena HARRISON, 40-years-old, of Wabigoon, Ontario has been arrested and charged with the following offence under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

The accused has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on July 2, 2025.
