Home Invasion: Jessica BABO Arrested

(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 3, 2025, the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an attempted break and enter and mischief at a residence on Courtright Line, near Greenfield Road, in the community of Courtright, St. Clair Township.

As a result of the investigation, Jessica BABO, 39-year-old of St. Clair Township was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

  • Mischief – destroys or damages property
  • Break, enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence

The accused was release from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on October 6, 2025.

Drug Bust – PARKS, BELL & Bell

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – Members of the Fort Frances Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged three individuals with offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, just before 4:00 a.m., Fort Frances OPP conducted a traffic stop on Second St. East in Fort Frances, after public complaints of possible impaired driving in the area.

Through investigation, it was discovered that two of the three occupants of the vehicle had active warrants for their arrest. After a thorough search of the vehicle, officers located what appeared to be methamphetamine as well as a large quantity of what appeared to be cocaine.

As a result, Jain PARKS, 27 years old from Couchiching First Nation, was charged with the following CDSA offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

This accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Ryan BELL, 33 years old from Fort Frances, was charged with the following CDSA offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

This accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on Monday, September 29, 2025.

Jeremy BELL, 38 years old from Fort Frances, was charged with the following CDSA offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

This accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on Monday, September 29, 2025.

Craig LEGROULX Was Arrested Again #3Strikes

(PETROLIA, ON) – Police have made an arrest in connection with recent theft investigations in Petrolia. 

On August 28, 2025, the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance of Elgin-Middlesex CSCU, West Region OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Lambton OPP uniform members, executed a search warrant at an address on Derby Street in Petrolia.

The warrant was obtained as part of an ongoing investigation into two theft incidents that occurred in Petrolia on July 17, 2025, at a business on King Street and on July 24, 2025 at a business on Robert Street, where damage was caused to change machines and money was stolen.

As a result of the investigation, Craig LEGROULX, a 48-year-old of Petrolia, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

  • Mischief over $5,000 (two counts)
  • Theft under $5,000 (two counts)
  • Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Possession Break In Instruments
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order (two counts)

During the search, police located items used during the commission of the offences as well as other offence-related items.

The accused was release from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on October 28, 2025.

Remains Of Human Found

(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON) -The Oxford Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the discovery of human remains in South-West Oxford Township.

On Monday, September 1, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of suspected human remains found on a property on Beachville Road. Upon investigation, the remains were confirmed to be human.

Preliminary information suggests that there are no signs of a broader threat. Police continue to investigate and are monitoring the situation. Residents in the area can expect to see an increased police presence.

This investigation is being conducted by the Oxford OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. Assistance is being provided by OPP Forensic Identification Services.

The investigation is in its early stages and more information will be released when available.

Jordan Peters – Drunk Driving

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation after receiving a call for service regarding a disturbance near County Road 30 in Verulam.

On Sunday August 31, 2025 at approximately 9:10 pm, officers were dispatched to a fight in progress, while enroute they were notified of the parties departing the residence. A pick-up truck was located on County Road 30 and a traffic stop occurred after the pick up truck turned onto County Road 8. The driver was arrested and charged with Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences.

Jordan Peters, 33-year-old of Trent Lakes, was charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drug
  • Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
  • Drive Motor Vehicle No Licence

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The drivers license was suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Augustine GAYFLOR – Drug Trafficking, Etc.

(LONDON, ON) – Traffic stop results in drug trafficking charges for driver.

On August 29, 2025, at 11:45 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Highway 401 at Highbury Avenue in the City of London, performed a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle.

Investigation revealed the driver was suspended.

The driver was placed under arrest, at which time a quantity of illicit drugs, was located and seized.

As a result, Augustine GAYFLOR, a 35-year-old of North Dumfries, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with

·      Poss of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – in Canada

·      Driving while under suspension

·      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

·      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Methamphetamine

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on October 17, 2025.

Tyler Stuart Facing Numerous Charges

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation during a traffic stop.

On Monday September 01, 2025 at approximately 6:42 pm, officers responding to a call for service located a pick up truck on Woodville Road. The driver was arrested and charged with Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, and Cannabis Control Act.

Tyler Stuart, 35-year-old of Eldon Township, was charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drug
  • Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
  • Drive vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available
  • Operator a Motor Vehicle without Insurance
  • Use Plate not Authorized for Vehicle
  • Operate Unsafe Vehicle

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The drivers license was suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

75 Year Old From Central Huron Arrested – Details Released

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with criminal driving offences following a two-vehicle collision in the Municipality of Central Huron, on August 13, 2025. 

Just after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Huron County OPP officers responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Bayfield Road and Parr Line in Central Huron. One of the vehicles involved failed to remain at the collision scene and drove southbound. Police eventually located the suspect vehicle, which was damaged and parked inside a garage. The suspect driver was identified by police and arrested.

The occupant of the second vehicle involved in the collision was treated for minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, the accused has been charged as follows:

John HOOGENES, 75 years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with:

–      Dangerous Operation,

–      Failure to Stop After Accident.

The accused was processed, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on September 22nd, 2025.

John WILLARD Was Arrested Again – Assault #3Strikes

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an assault investigation in Delhi.

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at approximately 6:38 p.m., the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault on Talbot Road in Delhi.

The investigation determined that two people were involved in an interaction on the property, during which one assaulted the other. One person was taken into custody, and minor injuries were reported.

After being taken into custody, the individual caused damage to police property.

As a result, 35-year-old John WILLARD of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Assault,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order,
  • Mischief under $5,000.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

3 More Impaired Drivers

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – Three drivers were charged in Haldimand County over this past long weekend.

On August 29, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic compliant on Kohler Road, Lakeshore.

The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted.

Brian BOULTON, 64-years-old of Selkirk has been charged with the following:

·        Operation While Impaired

·        Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

On August 29, 2025, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Haldimand OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision on North Shore Drive, Dunnville.

Maria LOZANO MESTRE, 50-years-old of St Catharines has been charged with:

·        Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

On August 31, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Kyler Court, Caledonia.

Tyler BEAUVAIS, 27-years-old of Caledonia has been charged with the following:

·        Operation Causing Bodily Harm

·        Operation While Prohibited

All accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on later dates.

19 Year Old Repeat Offender Arrested Again

(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) – Members of the Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged one individual for drug trafficking offences in the Municipality.

On Saturday August 30, 2025, at approximately 2:00 pm, officers were dispatched to a local hotel for a report of suspected drug paraphernalia. Police investigation resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Following investigation, Brier EDWARDS, 19 years old from Sioux Lookout, has been arrested and charged with the following offences: 

·        Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking,

·        Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime,

·        Four counts of failure to comply with Probation Order, and

·        One count of failure to comply with Release Order.

The accused was remanded into custody and is next scheduled to appear in front of the Ontario Court of Justice Dryden / Sioux Lookout Bail Court on September 2, 2025.

Andre GAGNON Was Arrested

(WEST NIPISSING, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a driver after investigating a parked vehicle.

On Monday September 1, 2025, at approximately 7:50 a.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP responded to a parked vehicle on Cache Bay Road, West Nipissing.

Police located the vehicle parked, still running and the driver sleeping in the driver’s seat.  The driver was found to be impaired by drugs and was arrested, then transported to the OPP detachment.

As a result of the investigation, Andre GAGNON, 38 years-of-age, from West Nipissing, was charged with, operation while impaired – drugs and operation while impaired – blood drug concentration.

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday November 6, 2025, in North Bay.

The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Avery NICKERSON Was Arrested

(PARRY SOUND, ON) – The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a person with several offences after responding to a family dispute

On August 31, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m. officers received a call regarding a family dispute on Miller Street in the Town of Parry Sound. The accused assaulted family members and pulled out an edged weapon when confronted by police. Officers were able to disarm the accused who continued to resist police during the arrest.    

Avery NICKERSON, 41-years-old from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with:

  • Mischief – destroys or damages property – two counts
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Assault
  • Assault a police officer with a weapon – two counts
  • Resist peace officer

The accused was held for bail before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound and is scheduled to appear on September 11, 2025.

Alicia BRYAN – Impaired Operation

 (NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment arrested a driver, for impaired driving, as the result of a R.I.D.E. check in Norwich Township.

On August 31, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Oxford OPP set up a Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) check on Highway 59 in Norwich Township.

As a result, Alicia BRYAN a 37-year-old resident of Norfolk County, has been charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on October 7, 2025.

R.I.D.E. programs are set up at various locations during the day and night. They continue to prove to be helpful in getting impaired drivers off Oxford County roadways.

2 Sent To Hospital – Joshua MCEACHERN Arrested

(GUEPLH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a Guelph resident with two criminal charges stemming from a two-motor vehicle collision.

On August 31, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members from the Wellington County OPP attended the scene of a two-motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 within Guelph-Eramosa Township.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua MCEACHERN, a 35-year-old of Guelph is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Careless driving

As a result, two parties involved in the collision were transported to local hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on September 12, 2025.
