Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Gary MCCLENNAN Arrested

(GUEPLH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft-in-progress involving a motor vehicle, resulting in officers attending the area shortly thereafter, locating the suspect, and placing them into custody.

On September 3, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were on proactive patrol when a report came in of a recently stolen motor vehicle within Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Police attended the area and as a result of the investigation, and swift actions by OPP uniform members, Gary MCCLENNAN, a 35-year-old Guelph, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Theft of motor vehicle
  • Drive motor vehicle – no licence

The victim’s motor vehicle was recovered and returned to the owner.

The accused has been placed into police custody, pending a bail hearing.

Neil COLIN – Drunk Driving

(SERPENT RIVER FIRST NATION, ON)- On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint involving a westbound vehicle on Highway 17 within Serpent River First Nation.

The black car repeatedly hit the shoulder and crossed into the oncoming lane, while the driver was seen throwing garbage out the window. Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. During the interaction, officers determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. At approximately 3:15 p.m., an arrest was made.

The driver was transported to Blind River detachment for further testing and their vehicle was towed.

Neil COLIN, 54 years old from London, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous operation

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on October 2, 2025. The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension, and the involved vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Daniel GRAHAME – Impaired Driving

(ESSEX, ON) – On September 3, 2025, at 11:34 p.m., a member of the Essex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment, was on patrol along Highway 3 near County Road 8 in the Town of Essex, when a vehicle was observed driving in an unsafe manner.

The officer conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking to the driver, it was determined that the driver had previously consumed alcohol. A roadside test was conducted and as a result, the driver was arrested and transported to a local detachment for further testing.

As a result, Daniel GRAHAME, a 25-year-old of Essex, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Unsafe move – lane or shoulder

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to speak to the charges on September 17, 2025.

The driver was issued a 90-day administrative drivers licence suspension and vehicle was impounded for 7 days as per statute.

Henry WALL Was Arrested

(LEAMINGTON, ON) – Driver facing impaired driving charges after traffic complaint in on Highway 3.

On September 3, 2025, at 10:07 p.m., members of the Kingsville and Leamington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachments, were dispatched to the report of a possible impaired driver on Highway 3 Eastbound towards the Municipality of Leamington.

Police patrolled the area, the vehicle was located on Talbot Street East at County Road 31 in Leamington at which time a traffic stop was initiated. 

As a result of the investigation, Henry WALL, a 29-year-old of Leamington, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to speak to the charges on September 19, 2025.

The driver was issued a 90-day administrative drivers licence suspension and vehicle was impounded for 7 days as per statute.

More Impaired Drivers Arrested

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) – The Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged three drivers with a total of 8 impaired-related offences in August.

On Sunday August 10, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m., members of the Kirkland Lake OPP were conducting general patrol on Highway 66 in Gauthier Township, when a traffic stop was conducted for speed related offences. Officers determined the driver had consumed alcoholic beverages and the driver was arrested and transported to the Kirkland Lake OPP detachment for further testing.

As a result, Philippe AUBERT, a 56-year-old of Terrebonne, Quebec was charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.

The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on September 4, 2025.

On Tuesday August 12, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., the Kirkland Lake OPP received a complaint of a pickup truck crashing into garbage cans causing damage to a house and fence on Federal Street, Kirkland Lake. The vehicle initially failed to stop to emergency lights, a short time later a traffic stop was conducted on Goodfish Road. Officers determined the driver had consumed alcoholic beverages and the driver was arrested and transported to the Kirkland Lake OPP detachment for further testing.

As a result, Bradley HEBERT, a 25-year-old of Azilda was charged with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Dangerous operation

·      Failure to stop after accident

·      Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available

·      Disobey stop sign – fail to stop

The accused was issued a 90-day ADLS and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on September 18, 2025.

On Wednesday August 13, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a parked vehicle on Seventh Avenue, in Larder Lake. Police located the driver and determined that the driver had consumed alcoholic beverages. The driver was arrested and transported to the Kirkland Lake OPP detachment for further testing.

As a result, Lynne CORMIER a 32-year-old of Matachewan was charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.

The accused was issued a 90-day ADLS and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on September 18, 2025.

Gurkanwal SINGH Arrested Following Firearm Incident

(Bracebridge, ON) – The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual in connection with firearms incidents near Bracebridge.

An investigation has been ongoing into the careless and unsafe use of firearms, as depicted in videos shared online. As a result of the investigation, Gurkanwal SINGH, 24, of Brampton was arrested on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and charged with two counts of careless use of a firearm.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on October 7, 2025. Their firearms licence and weapons were also seized.

This investigation remains ongoing. Officers continue to actively investigate, gathering evidence and following up on leads to ensure a thorough and complete investigation.

The OPP would like to thank members of the public who have come forward with information. Community cooperation is essential to advancing investigations and maintaining public safety.

Repeat Offenders Natalie MARTELL & Curtis GIBSON Arrested Again

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) – The Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two people following an investigation into a series of copper wire thefts in the area.

In July 2024, the Kirkland Lake OPP launched an investigation after multiple reports of copper wire and related materials being stolen from mine sites and railway infrastructure throughout the region. The investigation has since linked three separate incidents to the same accused individuals.

As a result of the investigation Natalie MARTELL, a 46-year-old from Kirkland Lake was charged with:

·      Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence – three counts

·      Theft over $5,000 – three counts

·      Mischief- destroys or damages property – three counts

·      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – three counts

·      Fail to comply with probation order

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on October 2, 2025.

Additionally, Curtis GIBSON, a 36-year-old from Kirkland Lake was charged with:

·      Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence- three counts

·      Theft over $5,000 – three counts

·      Mischief- destroys or damages property – three counts

·      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – three counts

·      Fail to comply with probation order

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on September 18, 2025.

Home Invasion: Michael SERES

(LEAMINGTON, ON) – On August 29, 2025, the Leamington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment received a report of break and enter to a bunkhouse in Leamington.

On August 27, 2025, at approximately 4:15 a.m., an individual entered a bunkhouse on County Road 31 in the Municipality of Leamington. The individual was captured on security camera removing personal property and leaving the area.

As a result of the investigation, on September 3, 2025, Michael SERES, 41 years of age of Leamington was arrested and charged with:

  • Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on October 24, 2025, to answer to the charges.

Byron HOADLEY Arrested Again & Facing Numerous Charges

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual after being alerted to a stolen vehicle in the area. 

On Wednesday September 3, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Officers with the Quinte West OPP and the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME) were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle near Douglas Road. After a traffic stop was initiated, the vehicle fled and was stopped on Dixon Drive after the driver lost control. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot, subsequently being located and taken into custody.

Byron HOADLEY, 32 years old from Scugog Township, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Possession property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Possessing automobile master key
  • Flight from peace officer
  • Dangerous operation
  • Failure to comply with release order – other then to attend court x2

Sasha POPISAN BRAVO & Dylan CHANCAFE BRAVO Arrested – Details Released

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrests two suspects in connection with a theft at local bank.

On September 3, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a theft at a local bank within Centre Wellington Township, with the two suspects involved, fleeing soon after.

Officers quickly attended the area, located the two suspects involved, and placed them under arrest.

As a result of the investigation,

Sasha POPISAN BRAVO, a 24-year-old from Bradford was charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Theft of credit card
  • Use of credit card
  • Fraud under $5000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 (two counts)

Dylan CHANCAFE BRAVO, an 18-year-old from Bradford was charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Theft of credit card
  • Use of credit card
  • Fraud under $5000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 (two counts)

Both accused were transported to a Nottawasaga OPP detachment in-relation to an ongoing investigation and were held in custody, pending a bail hearing.

84 Year Old From Howick Arrested For Assault

(HOWICK, ON) – On August 14th, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Township of Howick.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed criminal acts against their partner.

An 84-year-old individual from Howick Twp has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

–      Assault – Spousal,

–      Forcible Confinement.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on September 15th, 2025.

Mark Henderson Was Arrested

(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) – A single vehicle collision on Highway 11 in Harley Township has resulted in impaired driving charges.

On August 29, 2025, at approximately 11:30 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 11 in Harley Township.

As a result of the investigation, the driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Temiskaming OPP Detachment for further testing.

Mark Henderson, 38 years old, of Ottawa, has been charged with following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on September 23, 2025.

Drug Bust – Mohammed ABDALWAHAB, Kemoy JACKSON, & Havord McKENZIE

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Members of the Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged three individuals with offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

On Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, around 4:38 p.m., Thunder Bay OPP conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle along Highway 11-17, within the Municipality of Shuniah.

OPP Canine Unit, along with the Thunder Bay OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) were engaged, attended the location and after a thorough search of the vehicle, officers located a large quantity of what appeared to be Cocaine, large amount of Canadian currency and paraphernalia related to drug trafficking.

Investigators seized the following items with approximate quantities:

·        407 grams of suspected Cocaine

·        2,985 of Canadian currency

As a result, Mohammed ABDALWAHAB, 41 years old, of London, Ontario, was charged with the following CDSA offences:

·        Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

·        Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

·        Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

This accused was held in-custody overnight for a bail hearing, was subsequently released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on October 2nd, 2025.

Kemoy JACKSON, 20 years old, of Mississauga, was charged with the following CDSA offences:

·        Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

·        Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

·        Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

This accused remains in-custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on September 4th, 2025.

Havord McKENZIE, 34 years old, of North York, Ontario, was charged with the following CDSA offences:

·        Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

·        Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

·        Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

This accused remains in-custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on September 4th, 2025.

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – Two drivers have been charged with impaired driving in Prince Edward County.

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, around 10:00 p.m. officers with the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a single motor vehicle collision on Consecon Street in Prince Edward County. Officers located the vehicle and the driver and continued their investigation. As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Harriet MUHARABU, age 25 of Belleville, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Fail to remain
  • Fail to report accident

On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, around 1:30 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling in Prince Edward County. Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle and utilized an approved alcohol screening device. As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further testing.

Connor Cruickshank, age 25 of Wellington, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available
  • Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
  • Driver fail to surrender licence

The individuals were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on September 17, 2025.

Their driver’s licences have been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles were impounded for seven days.

73 Year Old Facing Impaired Charge

(CENTRAL ELGIN, ON) – Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with impaired operation.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision in the Municipality of Central Elgin. No one was injured.

As a result of the investigation, Gary SUTHERLAND, a 73-year-old from St. Thomas was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, and
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
