Eileen Campbell – Fraud

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) – A resident of  Mississippi Mills Township has been charged with fraud.

The Lanark County OPP and Lanark County OPP Crime unit began an investigation in November of 2024 after a local business was alerted to several suspicious transactions over a 15-month period beginning in August of 2022.

On September 18, 2025, as a result of the investigation, Eileen Campbell, age 45, of Mississippi Mills Township, was charged with fraud over $5000.

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on October 20, 2025.

$140,000 Fraud – Names Released #CrimeDoesPay

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged several individuals following a fraud investigation.

On March 13, 2025, police were contacted by a representative of Community Care Northumberland regarding funds allegedly misappropriated by a former employee.

The organization reported that approximately $140,000 had been transferred to unauthorized individuals under the pretense of transportation services. The transactions were believed to have occurred between October 2021 and February 2025.

The Northumberland OPP Crime Unit was engaged to assist with the investigation.

Following a six-month investigation, two individuals were arrested on September 12, 2025:

Bobby-Jo PRESTEN (45), from the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan, has been charged with:

–      Fraud over $5,000

–      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

Christina BOWEN (69), from Peterborough, has been charged with:

–      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

An additional individual was arrested on September 19, 2025:

Nolan PRESTON (23), from the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan, has been charged with:

–      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

All accused are due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in October.

Controversy as 23 Year Old Faces Charges Despite No Physical Proof #YoDre

(ORILLIA, ON) – Officers from the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with criminal and provincial charges after a vehicle stop at a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program.

On September 19, 2025, just before 1:30 am, officers were conducting a RIDE program on Atherley Road in the City of Orillia. A vehicle entered the RIDE program and began speaking with officers. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer entered into a impaired operation investigation which resulted in their arrest at the scene. The driver was transported back to the Orillia OPP Detachment where further testing was completed by a Drug Recognition Officer (DRE).

As a result of the investigation, Malach MORGAN, 23-year-old from Barrie, has been charged with the following:

–      Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs (CC),

–      Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available (CCA), and

–      Novie driver – presence of drug (HTA)

The accused was released with a future court date. Additionally, their driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

56 Year Old Arrested At RIDE, Details Released

(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) – A driver is facing impaired-related charges after they were arrested at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check.

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE check on Highway 6 in Espanola. A vehicle came through and police initiated an investigation. As a result, the driver was arrested for impaired operation.

Phillip SPRUCE, 56-years-old from Mindemoya, was charged with:

·      Operation while impaired

·      Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available

·      Drive vehicle with liquor readily available

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on November 17, 2025.

Jessica HOWDEN Was Arrested

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a motorist following a collision.

On September 17, 2025, at around 5:25 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area of Oak Ridges Drive and County Road 28 in the Township of Hamilton.

The Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) also attended for non-serious injuries. Through investigation and speaking with one of the drivers involved, police began an impaired operation investigation which resulted in the individual being taken into custody and transferred to a local detachment for further tests.

As a result, Jessica HOWDEN (31), from the Township of Cavan Monaghan, has been charged with:

–      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

–      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

–      Careless driving

–      Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg. A further 90-day Administrative Driver Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day vehicle impound was initiated as per statute.

Passed Out 27 Year Old Facing Charges

(ASPHODEL-NORWOOD TOWNSHIP, ON) – Officers from the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving after locating a vehicle with an unresponsive driver.

On Friday September 19, 2025, shortly after 1:30am, Peterborough County OPP officers were dispatched to a call involving a vehicle alarm. Officers attended Trent Lane in Asphodel-Norwood Township and located a vehicle in the roadway with driver appearing to be asleep. Officers were able to gain the attention of the driver and upon speaking with them, determined them to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the Peterborough County OPP detachment for further testing.

Ryan GRUZA (age 27) of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township, ON., was arrested and charged with;

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused had their driver’s licence further suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on October 28, 2025.

18 Year Old Has Vehicle Impounded After Incident Outside Busy School

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Guelph resident with stunt driving, going almost double the posted speed limit outside of a local busy school.

On September 13, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative and observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed, to which a traffic stop was initiated on Scotland Street within Fergus.

As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old of Guelph is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Speeding 1 – 49 km/h over posted limit
  • Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt

Anyone charged with ‘drive motor vehicle – perform stunt’ receives a 14-day impoundment and a 30-day driver’s licence suspension as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the provincial offences court – Guelph, at a later date

Cocaine Bust – Wasaga Beach

(COLLINGWOOD, ON) – Members from the Collingwood & Huronia West Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with assistance of detachment uniform members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) completed a drug trafficking investigation which was conducted over a four month period resulting in criminal charges.

In April 2025, the Community Street Crime Unit in Collingwood initiated an extensive drug trafficking investigation focused on a male suspect involved in trafficking cocaine in the Town of Collingwood. The suspect was observed over the course of the next several months to be engaged in activities consistent with drug trafficking.

On September 2, 2025, the suspect was arrested in the Town of Wasaga Beach. A search of the suspect resulted in the seizure of more than 84 grams of cocaine, a digital scale and two cellular phones. The suspect was also found to be in breach of a probation order.

Julio Azevedo, 27 years-old of Toronto was charged with;

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused party was held in custody for a show cause bail hearing to answer to the charges.

5 More Impaired Drivers Arrested

(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged five drivers with impaired driving during the first half of September.

On September 5, 2025, at 11:20 p.m. a Bracebridge OPP officer was conducting general patrol in the town of Bracebridge and became concerned about the driving behaviour of a vehicle on Manitoba Street. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Hiram Street and subsequently arrested and charged 44-year-old Seyed HASHEMI of Newmarket, ON with Impaired Operation and Over 80. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on October 7, 2025 to answer to his charges.

On September 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. two Bracebridge OPP officers were driving on Muskoka Road 118 in Bracebridge when the a vehicle caught their attention, driving in a concerning way. The officers conducted a traffic stop on Morrison Street and subsequently arrested and charged 50-year-old David RICHARDSON of Bracebridge, ON with Impaired Operation and Over 80. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on September 30, 2025 to answer to his charges.

On September 7, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Bracebridge OPP officers were dispatched to reports from members of the public that a vehicle had collided with a guard rail on Golden Beach Road in Bracebridge and the occupants had left the scene on foot. Officers located the individuals and subsequently arrested and charged 26-year-old Adam LEGAULT of Muskoka Lakes Township, ON with Impaired Operation, Over 80, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Fail to Remain. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on October 21, 2025 to answer to his charges.

On September 8, 2025, at 9:50 p.m., Bracebridge OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program on Bay Street in Gravenhurst and after an interaction with a vehicle, arrested and charged the driver. Police have charged 33-year-old Ryan MORROW of Gravenhurst with Impaired Operation, Over 80 and Fail to Comply with Probation. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on October 7, 2025 to answer to his charges.

On September 13, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Bracebridge OPP officers were contacted by a member of the public about their concerns about a vehicle parked near his laneway on Highway 11 South in Gravenhurst. Officers attended and located the vehicle and the driver nearby. Police arrested and charged 42-year-old Adam MANNING of Gravenhurst with Impaired Operation and Over 80. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on October 21, 2025 to answer to his charges.

Pervert Alert: Children Sexually Assaulted! Name Released

(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On September 18, 2025, police arrested a man in Elliot Lake after additional reported sexual assaults.

In July 2025, the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a sexual assault call that occurred at an apartment complex in Elliot Lake. A person was charged with sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age and sexual interference as a result of the investigation.  

On September 5, 2025, police were called regarding another sexual assault that had previously occurred at the same apartment complex involving the same previously charged person.   

Casey Michael FOURNIER, 55-years-old, from Elliot Lake, was charged again with:

  • Sexual Assault on a person under 16 years of age
  • Sexual Interference

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on September 19, 2025.

Armed Carjacking – 5 Arrested, Names Released

(CALEDON, ON) – Members from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges against five individuals following an investigation into a carjacking.

In the early hours of September 9, 2025, officers from the Caledon OPP received a report of a carjacking in the area of Old School Road and Heritage Road, in the Town of Caledon. It was alleged that four suspects, two of whom were armed with handguns, stole the complainant’s vehicle by force and fled the area.

Detectives from the Caledon Major Crime Unit (MCU) assisted with the investigation which ultimately revealed the complainant fabricated the report of the carjacking in a fraud scheme alongside four other individuals.

As a result of the investigation, five individuals were arrested and charged.

A 17-year-old from Brampton was charged with:

  • Fraud over $5000

Apkarn SINGH, 22, of Brampton, was charged with:

  • Fraud over $5000

Lakshay SHARMA, 21, of Caledon, was charged with:

  • Fraud over $5000

Sehajpreet SANDHU, 21, of Caledon, was charged with:

  • Public Mischief
  • Fraud over $5000
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

Gurkarn Singh, 21, of Brampton, was charged with:

  • Public Mischief
  • Fraud over $5000
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

The accused parties are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to their charge(s).

Meth Bust – Patrick ST. LOUIS

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – A wanted individual has been taken into custody and charged in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation in Simcoe.

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at approximately 9:07 a.m., members of the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit observed a vehicle previously reported stolen in Norfolk County on Windham Street in Simcoe.

Officers located an individual inside the vehicle who was wanted on two outstanding warrants and took them into custody without incident.

A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine.

As a result, 51-year-old Patrick ST. LOUIS of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine,
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

William MINSHALL – Assault & Threats

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in relation to an assault investigation in Delhi.

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at approximately 3:41 a.m., Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a reported assault on Imperial Street in Delhi.

The investigation determined that several individuals were inside a residence when one person physically assaulted another, verbally threatened that individual and a second person, and caused damage to property within the home.

As a result, 32-year-old William MINSHALL of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Assault cause bodily harm – choke, suffocate, or strangle,
  • Mischief over $5,000,
  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – two counts.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

2 More Impaired Drivers Arrested – Names Released

(CLARENCE-ROCKLAND & THE NATION, ON) – Members of the Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two motorists for impaired driving.

On Monday, September 15, at approximately 1:05 p.m., officers responded to a call reporting that a vehicle had crossed the center median and almost hit on-coming traffic on Laurier Street in Clarence-Rockland.  

Officers stopped the vehicle shortly after on Masters Lane. During the investigation an Approved Screening Device (ASD) was used, and the driver failed. The driver was transported to detachment for testing.

As a result of the investigation, 60-year-old, Josee Lortie, of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with: 

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) CC

• Operation while impaired – alcohol CC

The motorist received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

On, Thursday, September 18, 2025, shortly after 12:15 a.m., officers in The Nation initiated an impaired driving investigation after observing a vehicle swerving in between the shoulder and the passing lane on Highway 417. During the investigation an Approved Screening Device (ASD) was used, and the driver failed. The driver was brought to detachment for further testing. 

As a result of the investigation, 21-year-old, Charlie Larose, of Ste-Therese, Quebec, was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with: 

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) CC

• Operation while impaired – alcohol CC

The motorist received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is also scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Cove Beach Chaos: Two Young Drivers Caught on Camera Doing Stunts – Names Released

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two individuals following incidents that took place in the Town of Goderich on Saturday September 13th, 2025.   

On September 16th, 2025, police were contacted by Town of Goderich staff to investigate damage to property owned by the Town at the Cove Beach area. Video surveillance in the area caught two different drivers performing stunts with their vehicles in the parking area near the Cove Beach on September 13th, 2025.

Police identified and later located the two individuals responsible, and they were arrested for the offences of Mischief and Stunt Driving.

Brooke HAYES, 23 years-of-age from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township has been charged with:

–      Mischief Under $5,000.

The accused was additionally charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on November 24th, 2025.

Damian PHILLIP-THRUPP, 22 years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with:

–      Mischief Under $5,000.

The accused was additionally charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on November 24th, 2025.
