Vehicle Invasions – WOOD & HOLLYWOOD Arrested

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two individuals in relation to multiple vehicle entries.

On September 26, 2025 at approximately 8:30 a.m., officers of the Quinte West OPP conducted an investigation involving multiple thefts from vehicles, which led to the arrest of two individuals.

Emily HOLLYWOOD, 27 years old from Kingston has been charged with the following offences:

  • Mischief over $5000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Possession of a schedule I substance – Cocaine

The accused was released from custody with a court date of October 27, 2025 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.

Tyler WOOD, 43 years old from Ottawa has been charged with the following offences:

  • Mischief over $5000
  • Theft over $5,000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine
  • Fail to comply with probation order x2

The accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville

5 Arrested After Kidnapped Man Found Bound & Beaten

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious activity on Colborne Street East.

On September 27, 2025, at approximately 9:11 p.m., officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle and persons wearing masks near an abandoned building on Colborne Street East in the City of Orillia. Upon arrival, officers observed a U-Haul van parked directly in front of the address provided. Given information provided in the call and concern for possible injuries, officers entered the building to ensure no one inside required immediate help.

Once inside the building, officers located an adult male who was conscious but bound and suffering from serious injuries. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

With assistance from the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU), Canine Unit (K9), Aviation Services, and the Orillia Crime Unit, officers located and arrested five individuals inside the building.

As a result of the investigation, Surjit Singh BAINS, 62-years-old of Woodbridge, was charged with:

·      Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence

·      Kidnapping

·      Forcible confinement – two counts

Additionally, Gergy Anthony GORBURN, 51-years-old of Toronto, was charged with

·      Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence

·      Kidnapping

·      Forcible confinement – two counts

Additionally, Manraj MANN, 31-years-old of Brampton, was charged with

·      Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence

·      Kidnapping

·      Forcible confinement – two counts

Additionally, Dwayne MENNANT, 41-years-old of Brampton, was charged with

·      Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence

·      Kidnapping

·      Forcible confinement – two counts

Additionally, Baltej SANDHU, 30-years-old of Brampton, was charged with

·      Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence

·      Kidnapping

3 More Impaired Drivers Arrested

(PEMBROKE, ON.) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three drivers with impaired related charges within a span of four days.

On September 25, 2025, just before 1:00 a.m., OPP responded to a noise complaint in the City of Pembroke. While police were investigating a vehicle was seen leaving the residence. The vehicle was stopped, and the driver was later transported to the detachment for further testing.

Candise TODD, 47 years old, of Pembroke was charged with impaired operation.

Then on September 26, 2025, just after 11:00 p.m., OPP received multiple traffic complaints of a vehicle colliding with several guard rails on Highway 17 in the Town of Petawawa. The driver was not injured in the collision. They were then transported to detachment for testing.

Nathan BUTLER, 27 years old, from Chalk River was charged with impaired operation.

On September 28, 2025, just after 2:00 a.m., an OPP officer conducted a traffic stop on Bridge St. in Bonnechere Valley Township. During the interaction roadside testing was conducted. The driver was then transported to the detachment for further testing.

Chad BISHOP, 34 years old, of Petawawa was charged with impaired operation.

Each of the accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicles were towed and impounded for seven days. They were released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.

Maximus GILL – Drunk Driving

(SOUTH FRONTENAC TWP., ON) – A RIDE program in South Frontenac Township has resulted in impaired driving charges.

Officers with the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE on Saturday, September 27, 2025, shortly before 2:00 a.m., at the intersection of Latimer and Davidson Road.

Officers stopped one car, and an approved alcohol screening device was utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Maximus GILL, age 21 of Inverary, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Driving with liquor readily available
  • Young driver – blood alcohol content above zero

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on October 28, 2025. The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Robert MARARAS & Vasile NECULAI Charged

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested two individuals following a traffic stop.

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Monogram Place, where two individuals were arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, charges were laid under the Criminal Code (CC) and the Liquor Licence and Control Act (LLCA).

Robert MARARAS, age 28, from North York was charged with the following offences:

  • Theft of motor vehicle
  • Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

Vasile NECULAI, age 56, from Scarborough was charged with the following offence:

  • Theft of motor vehicle

The accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on a future court date

Michael RICHARDSON – Criminal Harassment

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a Caledon resident following multiple incidents of harassment involving school crossing guards, parents, and children over the past couple of weeks.

On September 17, 2025, the Dufferin OPP received a report of a male who had been repeatedly driving past school crossing guards, yelling profanities, honking his horn for extended periods, and harassing those present, creating unsafe conditions during busy rush hour traffic.

Following an investigation and attempts to de-escalate the situation, the male was arrested on September 25, 2025.

Michael RICHARDSON, 33 years old, of Caledon, has been charged with:

  • Criminal Harassment – Threatening Conduct ×3

Harassing school crossing guards who are simply trying to ensure children cross safely is not only dangerous, but also irresponsible behavior for any member of the community. Lucas HAMILTON Was Arrested

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Glen Miller Road, where an Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized, resulting in the arrest of a driver for being impaired. The driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Lucas HAMILTON, age 30, from Trenton, was charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drug
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Speeding – 1-49 km/h over posted limit

The accused was released from custody and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on October 16, 2025. Additionally, the vehicle being operated has been impounded for seven days, and their licence suspended for 90 days.

$11,000 Meth Bust – Chanelle BERMINGHAM Arrested

(KINGSTON, ON) – Officers have made a significant seizure of illegal drugs after a car failed to stop at a RIDE program in Kington.

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, shortly after 2:00 a.m., officers with the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE program at the Montreal Street exit from Highway 401 in Kington.

A car initially failed to stop for officers but was stopped nearby.

As a result of the initial investigation, the driver was arrested and a search of the vehicle located over 450 grams of suspected methamphetamine and over 225 grams of suspected cocaine, as well as approximately $11,000 in cash.

Chanelle BERMINGHAM, age 31 of Toronto, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime-over $5000
  • Obstructing a peace officer
  • Operation of a vehicle while prohibited under the Criminal Code – two counts
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Operate a vehicle without insurance
  • Disobey an officer directing traffic
  • Fail to comply with a probation order

The accused was released from custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on November 6, 2025.

Godwill Forsack TAMBONG – Impaired Driving

(BRANT, ON) – On September 28, 2025, at approximately 12:44 a.m., a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop after observing erratic driving behavior on the 403 West Off Ramp at Wayne Gretzky Parkway in Brant County.

Upon speaking to the male driver, police administered an approved roadside screening device test which resulted in a “fail”.

Following a police investigation, Godwill Forsack TAMBONG a 39-year-old male of Brantford, was taken into custody and charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
  • Dangerous Operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on October 10, 2025.

The OPP continues to prioritize road safety through proactive enforcement and public education. Impaired driving-whether by alcohol or drugs-remains one of the leading causes of serious collisions and fatalities on Ontario roadways.

Police Cruiser Involved In Collision – Jeffrey PARENT Facing Numerous Charges

(WASAGA BEACH, ON) – Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a suspect following a series of vehicle thefts and collisions that resulted in a crash involving a police vehicle and a residence in Wasaga Beach.

On September 28, 2025, shortly after 1:30 p.m., Southern Georgian Bay OPP received a report of a stolen white Honda CR-V from the Town of Penetanguishene. At approximately 2:45 p.m., the same individual stole a second vehicle, a Ford F-250, from the Town of Innisfil.

Shortly after, the suspect travelled to the Town of Wasaga Beach, where he was involved in two fail-to-remain collisions. Members of the Huronia West Detachment located the suspect vehicle on Bells Park Avenue, where it subsequently collided with a police cruiser and a nearby residence.

Following the arrest, officers also entered into an impaired operation investigation. As a result of the collision, an OPP officer was transported to a local hospital, treated for injuries, and later released.

As a result of the investigation, Jeffrey PARENT, 52 years old, of Tiny Township, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Theft of motor vehicle – two counts
  • Operation while prohibited
  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Assault peace officer – cause bodily harm
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Flight from peace officer – two counts
  • Dangerous operation causing bodily harm
  • Resist peace officer
  • Operation while impaired causing bodily harm
  • Refusal to comply with demand – bodily harm
  • Mischief – destroys or damages property – two counts
  • Fail to remain

The accused was held in custody pending a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on September 29, 2025.

$43 Cocaine Bust – #WorldSaved

(ESPANOLA, ON) – One person is facing charges after police conducted a traffic stop on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV).

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check on Centre Street in Espanola. Officers observed an ATV travel across the Highway with no headlights. A traffic stop was initiated, and as a result of further investigation, the driver was arrested for operation while prohibited.

Additionally, police seized an amount of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $43.

The driver, Zachary DELISLE, 38-years-old from Webbwood, was charged with:

  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine
  • Drive non-passenger ATV with a passenger
  • Lamps not lit

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on November 17, 2025.

Danielle MIGWANS Facing Numerous Charges

(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) – A driver is facing impaired-related charges after a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check in Little Current.

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting a RIDE check on Meredith Street East in Little Current, at the Swing Bridge. A vehicle was observed speeding towards the RIDE check, and police instructed the driver to stop. Further investigation on scene resulted in police completing a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) with the driver. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The driver, Danielle MIGWANS, 29-years-old from M’Chigeeng First Nation, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired
  • Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available
  • Fail to surrender insurance card
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Drive motor vehicle, no permit
  • Fail to notify change of address

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Gore Bay on October 7, 2025.

John TRUDELL – Drunk Driving

(NORTH FRONTENAC TWP., ON) – A single vehicle collision in North Frontenac Township has led to impaired driving charges.

Officers with the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and North Frontenac Firefighters responded to the scene on Marble Lake Road on Saturday, September 27, 2025, around 6:30 p.m.

A car had left the road and struck a rock cut. The vehicle then left the scene but was located nearby. One person was arrested at the scene and transported to the detachment for testing.

As a result, Frontenac OPP has charged John TRUDELL, age 63 of Cloyne with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on October 28, 2025. The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Zachary Shaw Arrested Again & Facing Numerous Charges #3Strikes

(TILLSONBURG ON) – An individual from the Norfolk County is facing multiple charges after police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle while on general patrol.

On September 27, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were conducting general patrol on Broadway Road, in the Town of Tillsonburg. Oxford OPP officers subsequently conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle.

Officers further conducted a search of the vehicle which resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine and stolen property.

Zachary Shaw, 48-years-old, of Norfolk County, has been charged with:  

·      Operation while Impaired – Drug

·      Obstruct peace officer

·      Theft under $5000 – Shoplifting (Two counts)

·      Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

·      Fail to comply with Probation order (Two counts)

·      Possession of a schedule I substance – Cocaine

·      Fail to surrender insurance card

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and has since been released from custody. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on a later date.

18 Year Old Arrested For Drunk Driving

(TILLSONBURG, ON) – An individual from Tillsonburg is facing impaired driving-related charges stemming from a traffic complaint from a member of the public.

On September 26, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to Pressey Road in the Township of South-West Oxford to a vehicle that was reported driving erratically.

Officers located the vehicle in the Town of Tillsonburg on Baldwin Street and conducted a traffic stop.

Joshua Dzinja, 18-years-old, of Tillsonburg, has been charged with:  

·      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)

·      Dangerous Operation

·      Driving while under suspension

·      Driving motor vehicle with unsealed container of liquor

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on a later date.
