Sexual Assault On Fergus Trail - Composite Sketch Released

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On April 24, 2020, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a sexual assault which occurred on a trail on the east end of Fergus.
It was reported that sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., the female victim was sexually assaulted on the Elora-Cataract Trail, east of Gartshore Street and just west of the First Line in Fergus. The suspect was riding a black bicycle and was last seen travelling eastbound on the trail at Gartshore Street.
The suspect is described as:
Caucasian male
5'9"-5'10" in height
Approximately 150 pounds
Sparse facial hair on upper lip and chin
Round face
Thin lips
He was wearing black reading glasses, a black baggy hooded sweater, black pants, and a black "beanie" hat and was riding a black bicycle.
This investigation is ongoing at this time.
