(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - On Sunday March 10, 2019 at approximately 12:30 a.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of vehicle partially in the ditch with the male driver sleeping behind the wheel on the First Line near Wellington Road 50 in the Town of Erin.
Officers located the vehicle and woke-up the sleeping driver. Following a brief interaction, officers formed the opinion that the male's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired and he was placed under arrest. The driver was transported to a local OPP Operation Centre for further testing.
Kyle FLEMMINGS, 30-years-old of Pickering has been charged with Operation While Impaired By Drug. A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment were initiated as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 9, 2019 to answer to his charge.
