(KENORA, ON) On Sunday June 15, 2014 members of the Kenora Detachment of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter had occurred at an additional residence in the Rabbit Lake Area. Police were advised that the homeowners believed they heard someone enter their residence around 5:30 am. When they looked around the residence they discovered a purse and electronics to be missing.
The investigation led to the arrest of a male youth later in the evening. The youth was found in possession of property missing from the break in. He has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 145(1)(a) of the Criminal Code. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on June 25, 2014.
