(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a fail to remain collision. On Wednesday the 4th of June, 2014 at 9:15 pm, a green Ford pick-up truck was travelling on the Gardiners Road ‘off ramp’ from the Westbound Highway 401 lanes. The truck drove into the back of a small Hyundai causing damage to the bumper and taillights of the vehicle.
Two males got out of the truck, and indicated that they would meet in the nearby carpool lot to ‘exchange information’. The two males then returned to their truck and fled the scene driving north on Highway 38.
The males are described as being in their late teens/early 20’s. The driver was wearing an orange construction shirt with shaggy, sandy blonde hair under a baseball cap. The passenger was wearing a black work style shirt.
The truck is described as a green Ford F-150 (possibly an older model) and there was a ‘BROWNING’ sticker on the tailgate or back window of the truck.
Anyone with information regarding this ‘fail to remain’ collision is asked to contact the Frontenac Detachment at 613-372-1932 or, anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
