(ESSA)- On May 21, 2014 Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 10 at the 4th Line.
The involved driver was a veteran OPP Officer operating an unmarked police vehicle. The Officer was extricated by Essa Fire Department and with the assistance of Simcoe County Paramedics and Ornge Air Ambulance Services, he was air lifted to a Toronto area hospital.
The Officer’s condition is improving and he is listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing, further information will be released if applicable.
The OPP would like to thank Essa Fire Department, Simcoe County Paramedics, Ornge Air Ambulance Services and all of the medical staff involved in helping this Officer.
