(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) A 29-year-old male had his vehicle impounded for 7 days following a traffic stop on May 26, 2014 at approximately 10:10 p.m.
A member of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol on Highway 11, Latchford when he observed a northbound motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.
Further investigation resulted in Kevin COMEAU of New Brunswick facing a charge of race motor vehicle – section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on June 26, 2014.
