(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Saturday July 7, 2014 just after 10:30pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members were patrolling on Highway #11 in the town of Huntsville when they observed a Porsche traveling at a high rate of speed in the south bound lanes.
Officers managed to get the vehicle stopped near Allensville Rd on Highway #11 and found that the driver had been drinking. David ARCHER (58yrs) of Toronto was arrested and eventually charged with Impaired Driving and having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood, along with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle under the Criminal Code of Canada. He faces further charges of racing a Motor Vehicle under the Highway Traffic Act. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on July 9, 2014 to answer to his charges.
