REMEMBER TO LOCK UP!

(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) -The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating several break and enters in Norwich Township.

On April 23, 2014 sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. entry was gained by suspects to a residence on Grove Street in Otterville. Numerous items were taken including cash, credit cards, alcohol, and a tablet. How entry was gained into the residence is unknown.

Sometime overnight on April 28, 2014 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:45 a.m., suspects gained entry through the rear door of a residence on North Court Street, West in Norwich. The suspects removed clothing and a wallet with its contents from the residence. The owner’s vehicle was also entered during this time period.

On April 30, 2014 overnight between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., suspects gained entry through an unlocked door to a residence on Washington Street, Norwich. Taking were various items including a wallet, purse, identification, credit cards, and cash.

While these investigations are continuing, police are asking anyone with information in relation to these thefts, to contact them at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
