(TECUMSEH, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County is reminding the public to lock their vehicles, wherever they are parked and unattended, after a string of vehicle break in’s in Tecumseh.
The area of St. Mark’s Road in Tecumseh had approximately 17 vehicles entered over a one night period last week. Several items were stolen including GPS units, phone charges, change, sunglasses, headphones, alcohol and clothing.
Police are advising the public to remove valuables from your vehicles before leaving them and ensure that your vehicle is locked.
Attached are two still photos of the suspects from the above thefts. If you recognize the persons in the photo, you are asked to contact the OPP.
If you see anything or anyone suspicious, you are asked to contact police immediately.
Police are asking anyone with information with regards to these thefts, to contact the Essex County OPP Street Crimes Unit at 519-723-2491.
