Pierre LEBLANC – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On May 25, 2014 at approximately 12:56 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Highway 7 at Wellington Road 44 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Officers investigated the driver of a 1997 Ford Mustang that entered into the checkpoint and discovered that he had been drinking. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.

Pierre LEBLANC aged 47 of Guelph-Eramosa Township has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on June 17, 2014 to answer to the charge.

The Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
