OPP INVESTIGATING THEFT – ALL RESIDENTS REMINDED TO REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after a theft was reported at a Connaught Avenue, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at approximately 4:45 p.m., police attended an address after being contacted by a concerned homeowner after several items were taken from the front of the residence.

Through investigation it was determined that the homeowner was outside doing maintenance and walked to the backyard of the property. While in the backyard, unknown suspect(s) removed a weed eater, full container of gasoline and a pair of gloves.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
