(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On May 3, 2014 at 8:20 pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police, East Algoma detachment received a call of a suspicious person and vehicle at a business on highway 108 north of Elliot Lake. While on route to the location, officers observed a vehicle fitting the description southbound on highway 108. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was question in regards to the complaint that was called in. During their investigation officers determined the driver had been drinking. As a result of their investigation the driver was arrested at the scene. Charged is 42 year old David Keith WALSH of Elliot Lake. He has been charged with the following criminal offences:
-operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mgs of alcohol
-break and enter-commit indictable offence
-possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00
-possession of break in instruments
He is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on July 8, 2014.
