(NEMI Township, ON) – On Sunday June 08, 2014 at 7:10 pm Manitoulin OPP responded to a vehicle rollover which occurred on the Greenbush Road in Northeastern Manitoulin and The Islands Township. Witness report advised that five people were in a 2007 Black Buick vehicle when it left the road and flipped over. All five exited the vehicle and left the scene in another passing vehicle. That vehicle was intercepted by police. The driver was identified and as a result of the investigation the driver has been charged with numerous offences.
Charged with Failing to Remain at the Scene, Failing to Report, Failing to Give Required Information, Fail to Report Property Damage and Careless Driving all under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario is Howard MacPHERSON age 51 of Andeck Onmi Kanning First Nation.
