(LAKESHORE, ON) -On Saturday, May 24, 2014 just after 8:00 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Essex County (Lakeshore detachment) attended a residence on Second Street in Belle River, ON for a Criminal Code investigation.
While officers attempted to arrest a 22 year old Lakeshore man he became uncooperative and fled on foot. He was arrested a short distance away and taken into custody. The accused complained of injuries and was transported to an area hospital, treated for an injury and released. He faces several charges.
