(Alfred-Plantagenet, ON) РIn the early morning of June 14th, at approximately 2:20 am, Hawkesbury OPP Constables Luc C̫t̩ and Bradley Giroux intercepted a 2000 grey Nissan Altima on County Road 17 near P̩ladeau Road in Alfred-Plantagenet.
The traffic stop gave the officer reason to believe that the driver had consumed alcohol and that his blood alcohol concentration was above the permitted limit. The driver was consequently arrested for driving while having blood alcohol content above 80 mgs per 100ml of blood.
The driver Jason BEAUDIN (21 yrs) of Grenville, QC was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with section 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood.
