HOMEOWNER CONFRONTS MALE IN RESIDENCE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment was contacted by a concerned homeowner at a Cedar Drive, Turkey Point, Norfolk County, ON address.

On Monday, May 19, 2014, at approximately 5:18 a.m., police were contacted after an unknown male entered the residence through an unlocked garage door. Once inside the unknown male entered the bedroom where the residents were sleeping.

The occupants awoke at which time the unknown male began a verbal altercation which then turned into a physical confrontation. The male fled from the residence after the owners attempted to restrain him and was last seen running eastbound on Cedar Drive.

The male is being described as white, approximately 25 years of age, 5’8, 180lbs, dark short hair and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police are reminding all home owners to ensure that all doors and windows are secured in order to prevent anyone from gaining access to your residence.
