(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On May 8th 2014 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an apartment on Main Street West, Palmerston.
Police located a male and female in the apartment who were arrested without incident. During the search of the residence, police located methamphetamine, marihuana, 5 cell phones, 2 scales and $1470.00 in cash. There were multiple weapons placed strategically around the residence.
Gordon KEESO age 47and Elizabeth VERNER age 38 both of Palmerston are each charged with;
-Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking- contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A)
-Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-C.D.S.A.
-Breach of Recognizances X 2 contrary to the Criminal Code.
They are to appear in Guelph Bail Court on May 9, 2014.
