(Town of Laurentian Hills, Ontario) – On April 29th 2014, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) – Project Paradigm, OPP Emergency Response Team, and Deep River Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a residence in the Town of Laurentian Hills.
At the scene, Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms) was being produced in 10 mason jars and a large pot. There was also evidence of a Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) Extraction Lab. Police also seized cannabis marihuana and over $1000.
Two people were arrested and charged. Both were released on Promise to Appear and Undertaking with conditions.
Zachary HART, 26 of Deep River (ON) is charged with two (2) counts of Production of a schedule III substance (DMT and Psilocybin) and Possession over 30g of Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Skylar ZIEBARTH, 23 of Deep River (ON) is charged with a Breach of Probation.
