(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Thursday, May 1, 2014 at approximately 1:25 p.m., a member of the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2008 GMC pick-up truck on Grey Rd. 4 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, after having observed that the vehicle was being driven 10 to 20 km/h below the posted 80 km/hr speed limit.
The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol and was subsequently given a road side breath test, which he failed. He was arrested and brought to the Markdale OPP Detachment for further breath tests, which registered in the “warn rangeâ€Â. His driver’s licence was suspended for three days.
Ian David HARGRAVE, 41, of Grey Highlands, was charged with driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor under the Liquor Licence Act.
