(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On June 07, 2014 at 2:21am officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Prince Edward County detachment were conducting a RIDE check in the Village of Consecon. A vehicle attempted to avoid the check point and was soon stopped on Mill St. The female driver appeared to have been consuming alcohol.
31-year old Earla STRUTHERS of Prince Edward County was arrested for Operating While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) and Operation with over 80 mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on June 25, 2014.
