(CALEDON, ON)- On April 28, 2014, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 2 break and enter investigations which occurred overnight in sheds on Heart Lake Road properties.
Preliminary investigation on both occurrences has revealed that the suspect(s) entered the shed and shop through insecure doors and stole numerous tools and pieces of equipment including a Dewalt drill, Makita angle grinder, Stihl chainsaw, Stihl gas blower, Snap-On impact driver and Makita tool kit
Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
