(Seeley’s Bay, ON.) – On the 23rd of May 2014, officers from Leeds and the Thousand Islands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to a break and enter at a residence in Seeley’s Bay, in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township.
In the early morning of 23 May 2014, a forced entry was made into a residence in Seeley’s Bay by three individuals. While inside one of the residents was assaulted. OPP and Kingston Police Service attended and one male was arrested at the scene. The two remaining individuals were later arrested with the assistance of the Gananoque Police Service.
Tyler Gill, 24 years old from Augusta Township, a 17 year old female from Gananoque, and a 17 year old male from Gananoque all face charges of Break and Enter, and Assault with a Weapon, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. All remain in custody pending an appearance at Ontario Court of Justice Provincial Division – Brockville.
The investigation continues by members of the Leeds County OPP Crime Unit.
