(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Kenora Forensic Identification Unit, Scenes of Crime Officers and Kenora Crime Unit are investigating another break and enter that occurred on May 30, 2014 and May 31, 2014.
On Friday May 30, 2014 at 8:00 am police received a report of a subject entering a residence in the Airport Road area of Kenora. The subject entered the residence and stole alcohol while the home owners were sleeping.
On Saturday May 31, 2014 at 2:38 am police received a report that an unknown suspect had entered a residence in the Rabbit Lake area of Kenora. Once again, an occupant of the residence woke up and saw the suspect in the residence. The suspect fled the scene upon waking the occupant.
As a result of these investigations, Donovan PERRAULT, age 18 of Dalles First Nation, has been charged with Break Enter- Commit an Indictable Offence and Break and Enter a Place- with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in court on July 3, 2014 to answer to the charges.
