Daniel TURNER Was Arrested

(BRANT, ON) – On Friday, July 11, 2025, at approximately 4:28 p.m., members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft in progress at a business located on Colborne Street East in the County of Brant.

A concerned citizen reported observing individuals removing items from the property. Police arrived shortly after and located two individuals on scene. Following investigation, one person was taken into custody and later released on an Undertaking with a future court date.

As a result, Daniel TURNER, 37-years-old, from Hamilton, has been charged with:

  • Theft Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on September 5, 2025.

Christopher LAMORIE – Theft

(GRAVENHURST, ON) – The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one local person with theft in Gravenhurst.

On Sunday July 13, 2025, just before 1:00 p.m. Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a report of a theft from a retail location on Talisman Drive in Gravenhurst after a man entered the store and made off with a fat-tire bike along with other items.

Police located the suspect and subsequently arrested and charged 45-year-old Christopher LAMORIE of Gravenhurst with Theft Under $5000. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on August 25, 2025 to answer to his charge.

Goderich Theft – Ashley HUDSON Arrested Again #3Strikes

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Goderich-area resident following a theft from a retail store in the Town of Goderich on June 28, 2025. 

On Saturday, June 28th, 2025, Huron County OPP officers were contacted by store staff who reported a minor theft that had occurred that same day. The suspect was captured on video surveillance and police were able to identify the culprit.

Officers located and arrested the suspect soon after. The accused has been charged as follows:

Ashley HUDSON, 34 years-of-age from No Fixed Address has been charged with:

–      Theft Under $5,000,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were later released from custody with a pending court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 21st, 2025.

33 Hydro Poles Cut Down To Harvest $100,000 Copper Crop #3+GrandAPole

(COLEMAN TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged four individuals, in the theft of copper hydro wires. 

Between Thursday, May 1,2025, and Wednesday May 7,2025, individual(s) attended Silverfields Road in Coleman Township, cut down approximately 33 hydro poles and proceeded to steel the copper hydro wires from the poles. The theft occurred in a remote area along the road connecting the town of Cobalt and the Hound Chute Hydro Generating Station. The estimated value of the theft is approximately $100,000.00

As a result of a police investigation conducted by the Temiskaming OPP and the Temiskaming Crime Unit under the direction of the Regional Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Services (FIS), the North East Emergency Response Team (ERT), and North East Regional Intelligence Analyst, four individuals have been arrested.

Jeffrey BELANGER, 39 years-of-age, of Hudson Township has been charged with

  • Theft over $5,000
  • Mischief over $5,000
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Mischief under $ 5,000
  • Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen goods over $5,000 for the purpose of trafficking

Lance LAFERRIERE, 42 years-of-age, of Thornloe, has been charged with

  • Theft over $5,000
  • Mischief over $5,000
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Mischief under $ 5,000
  • Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen goods over $5,000 for the purpose of trafficking

Patrick DENOMME, 34 years-of-age, of Temiskaming Shores, has been charged with

  • Theft over $5,000
  • Mischief over $5,000
  • Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen goods over $5,000 for the purpose of trafficking

James KIRKEY, 51 years-of-age, of Casey Township, has been charged with

  • Theft over $5,000
  • Mischief over $5,000
  • Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen goods over $5,000 for the purpose of trafficking

All four accused were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date in 2025, in Haileybury.

Amanda MOCHULLA – Theft

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – Officers from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a person following a shoplifting incident.

On July 3, 2025, at approximately 11:45 a.m., police responded to a report of theft in progress at a commercial premises on Prince Edward Street in the Municipality of Brighton.

OPP arrived at the location and took one individual into custody.

As a result, Amanda MOCHULLA (32) from Belleville, has been charged with:

–      Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting

The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in August.

Golf Cart Stolen In Huron-Kinloss

(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) – On June 24, 2025, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen golf cart from an event grounds property in the area of Walter Street, Township of Huron-Kinloss.

The golf cart was taken sometime between June 13 and June 14; during the course of a community event. Police are searching for a beige Club Car golf cart.

Dong HUANG Was Arrested Again

(ESPANOLA, ON) – One person has been arrested after a single vehicle collision led to a stolen vehicle.

On Friday, June 20, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant reported that they came across a single vehicle rollover collision on Highway 17 in the Sables-Spanish Rivers Township. When the passerby stopped to offer their help, their vehicle was stolen by the driver involved in the collision. As a result of the investigation, police located the stolen vehicle at a parking lot in McKerrow, and the driver was arrested. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

Dong HUANG, 23-years-old from Scarborough, was charged with:

·      Theft of motor vehicle

·      Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code

·      Use of Credit Card

·      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

·      Fail to comply with probation order – two counts

·      Fail to report accident

·      Fail to remain

The accused was held before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court on June 20, 2025, and remains in custody.

Shane DIXON – Break & Enter, Theft, Etc.

 (ORILLIA, ON) – Members of the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a local man in connection with a break and enter at a business in Orillia.

On June 13, 2025, shortly after 4:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a Colborne Street business. Officers arrived on scene within minutes but determined that the suspect(s) had fled prior to their arrival. Upon assessing the premises, staff confirmed that a quantity of cigarettes and cigars had been stolen.

Subsequent investigation, including review of video surveillance footage, provided officers with a description of the suspects. Patrols were conducted in the area, leading to the arrest of one individual found in possession of stolen cigars and cigarettes.

As a result, Shane DIXON, age 40, of Orillia, has been charged with:

·        Adult Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence

·        Adult Theft

·        Adult Disguise with Intent

·        Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

The accused was released on a Form 10 Undertaking and is set to appear on July 15, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia

Amandeep-Singh PADDA Charged With Theft

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Brampton resident with theft-related offences following an investigation.

On June 5, 2025, shortly after 11:00 p.m., officers from the Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a reported theft at a retail store located at 95 First Street in the Town of Orangeville. Upon arrival, officers were advised that a male suspect had entered the store on May 28, 2025, and stolen approximately $600 worth of butter before fleeing through a fire exit.

The same individual returned to the store on June 5, where he was recognized and apprehended by loss prevention officers. Dufferin OPP officers attended the scene and took over the investigation.

Amandeep-Singh PADDA, a 31-year-old male, from Brampton has been charged with:

•      Theft Under $5000- SHOPLIFTING

The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville.

Stolen Vehicle Involved In Collision – Mathieu MENARD Arrested

(CHAMPLAIN TWP., ON) – One person has been charged after a collision involving a stolen vehicle near Hawkesbury.

On Monday, June 9, 2025, shortly before 5:30 a.m., officers with the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision on a ramp at the County Road-17/County Road-34 interchange. The mini van had left the road and rolled over.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Officers later learned that the mini van had been stolen from a residence in Hawkesbury.

Mathieu MENARD, age 45 of Hawkesbury is charged with:

  • Assaulting a peace officer – two counts
  • Resisting a peace officer
  • Theft of a vehicle
  • Dangerous operation of a vehicle

The investigation is continuing, and additional charges are possible.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Michelle BLUE Was Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – An individual is facing charges after theft investigation in Middlesex Centre.

On May 20, 2025, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address on Oxbow Drive in Komoka, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a theft complaint.

As a result of the investigation, members from the Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Oxford-Brant CSCU and Middlesex County OPP executed a search warrant at a residence on Wonderland Road in the City of London.

Michelle BLUE, a 43-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Theft Under $5000

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on July 21, 2025.

Christopher THOMPSON – Theft

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual was charged following a shoplifting investigation in Simcoe.

At approximately 12:59 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a shoplifting incident on Queensway East in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that an individual entered a business, concealed merchandise, and exited without making payment.

Officers located the individual on the property and took them into custody without incident.

41-year-old Christopher THOMPSON from Hamilton, Ontario, has been charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

Moncef LOUHICHI – Theft, Etc.

(CLARENCE-ROCKLAND, ON) – Three youths and an adult from Quebec have been arrested and charged in relation to the theft of a motor vehicle.

On May 20, 2025, at approximately 08:00 a.m., officers from the Russell County Ontario Provincial Police Detachment (OPP) in Rockland responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle from a parking lot in Clarence-Rockland. Witnesses provided accurate details that were crucial to the investigation.

Members from both Russell County OPP and the Hawkesbury OPP coordinated their efforts and located the stolen vehicle at approximately 08:15 a.m. The driver was arrested at the scene.

Hawkesbury OPP officers located an associated suspect vehicle, observed at the scene at the time of the theft, at approximately 09:35 a.m. and arrested the three occupants.

As a result, 18-year-old, Moncef LOUHICHI, of Terrebonne, Quebec has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Possession of a device for the purpose of committing theft

·        Theft of Motor Vehicle

·        Possession of Break in Instruments

·        Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on June 26, 2025.

The three youths were all charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Theft of Motor Vehicle

·        Possession of a device for the purpose of committing theft

·        Possession of Break in Instruments

They have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal at a later date.

3 Arrested For Theft

(PERTH, ON) – The Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a theft investigation in Perth.

On the Saturday, May 17, 2025, officers responded to a theft in progress at a business in Perth.

Three suspects fled after stealing approximately $1000 worth of alcohol. The were seen heading eastbound in a truck on Highway 7.  

Officers were able to conduct a traffic stop and three people were arrested at the scene and several containers of alcohol seized.

Thomas FAST, 24-years-old of Ottawa, has been charged with:

·          Theft under $5000

·          Fail to comply with release order – two counts

·          Possession of Property obtained by crime

Keith WENNEKES, 51-years-old of Gatineau has been charged with:

·        Theft under $5000

·        Possession of property obtained by crime

Patrick LANGDON, 51-years-old of Ottawa, has been charged with:

·        Possession of property obtained by crime

·        Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

·        Fail to surrender insurance card

·        Drive with obstructed plate

FAST and WENNEKES remain in custody for a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 20, 2025. LANGDON was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on 23 June, 2025.
