The Guelph Police Service is continuing to investigate and seeking the public’s help after a business was entered last week and had approximately $7,700 in product taken.
Approximately 1:40 a.m. August 13, officers were dispatched to a business in the area of Stevenson Street North and Speedvale Avenue East in relation to a break and enter in progress. Officers arrived on scene quickly to find the suspects no longer on scene, but the rear door to the business had been smashed open.
Upon review of CCTV footage, it was observed that a black Range Rover SUV pulled up to the business. Two men exited the vehicle and one used a sledgehammer to break open the door. The men were seen on video making two trips from inside the business to the awaiting vehicle with armfuls of merchandise.
The items taken are described as gold solder, jewelry fittings, assorted hardware, and a box of samples.
The suspects seen on CCTV footage are described as:
- White male wearing an orange construction vest, a white T-shirt and denim shorts and carrying a sledgehammer
- Male, wearing all black clothing with white accents, gloves and a balaclava
- Driver, wearing a blue shirt, jeans, a black, red, and white hat, and a red bandana
