James IRONSIDE Was Arrested

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrest and the charge person responsible for break and enter within local community.

On April 27, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to an active report of a break and enter / theft which occurred at a local residence on Second Line within Guelph-Eramosa Township. It was reported that the caller was in fresh foot-pursuit of the suspect, whom they located on their property.

Shortly thereafter, police arrived on scene, located the suspect and arrested them without issue.

As a result of the investigation, James IRONSIDE, 33-year-old of Guelph was charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 (two counts)

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered – 3 Arrested

(ESSA, ON) – As a result of an ongoing police investigation, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged three individuals in relation to a stolen vehicle.

On April 19, 2025, at 1:00 a.m., Officers were conducting general patrols in the area of 11th Line for an unrelated call for service in Essa Township. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle determining that the driver was wanted with another police service.

Officers searched incident to arrest and observed the VIN number at the front windshield was also reported stolen out of Huronia West OPP Detachment.

Upon further investigation, all three accused parties were arrested and charged with the following:

Jonathan, GARWOOD 56-years-old of Barrie was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime
  • Use Plate not authorized for vehicle
  • Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
  • Drive with seat belt assembly inoperative
  • Operate unsafe vehicle
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
  • Fail to surrender insurance card

Robert MERCER 56-years-old of Barrie was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime

Cameron MANCHESTER 22 -years-old of Severn Township was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime

The accused parties are to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Ryan SMITH Arrested

(BONNECHERE VALLEY TWP, ON) – A driver is facing several charges after a vehicle was stopped as a result of a RIDE Program in Bonnechere Valley Township (BVTP). 

On April 18, 2025, at just after 11:00 a.m., officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle that appeared to avoid a RIDE Program on Augsburg Road. Police stopped the vehicle a short distance away and began an impaired driving investigation. As part of the investigation a Roadside Screening Device was utilized, and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing. Further investigation found that the involved vehicle had been stolen the previous night from a residence in North Algona-Wilberforce Township. Alcohol was seized from the vehicle during the investigation. 

As a result of this incident 34-year-old Ryan SMITH of BVTP has been charged with the following Criminal Code (CC), Liquor Licence Control Act (LLCA) and Highway Traffic Act (HTA) offences:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80mg plus

·        Theft of a motor vehicle

·        Operation while prohibited

·        Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

·        Driving while under suspension

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was returned to the owner. The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on May 5, 2025.

Stolen Property Recovered – 5 Arrested

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – As a result of an ongoing police investigation, members of the Nottawasaga Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the Huronia West Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), and the Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) of the Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant on Sideroad 17, in the Town of New Tecumseth.

On April 15, 2025, at 12:47 p.m officers executed a search warrant at an address on Sideroad 17 in New Tecumseth. Police located and seized a 2017 Jaguar XF Sedan valued at $30,000.00 reported stolen out of Peel Region, a U-Haul Van Valued at $15,000.00 that was reported stolen out of Guelph and a U-Haul trailer Valued $6000.00 that was reported stolen out of ajax. As a result of the investigation:

Thomas BROOKS 50-years-old of Schomberg was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession property obtained by Crime Over $5000.00 -Three Counts

Candace BRUSH 30-years-old of Mississauga was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession property obtained by Crime Over $5000.00 -Three Counts

Nicholas RADELJA 35 -years-old of Schomberg was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession property obtained by Crime Over $5000.00 -Three Counts

Andrew RADELJA 39-years-old of Schomberg was arrested and charged with the following:

Stolen Vehicles Recovered – 2 Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Two individuals charged after search warrant executed at an address in Middlesex Centre.

On April 10, 2025, members of the Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Oxford-Brant OPP CSCU, OPP Canine, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), executed a search warrant at a residence on Westdel Bourne in Middlesex Centre.

CSCU members recovered two previously reported stolen vehicles, along with three enclosed trailers and a flatbed trailer, with a combined, estimated worth of approximately $171,000.

Jad KARAM, a 46-year-old of Middlesex Centre, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada (two counts)
  • Altering/Destroying/Removing a vehicle identification number
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

Heng KHAO, a 40-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada (two counts)
  • Altering/Destroying/Removing a vehicle identification number
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

The accused were both held for bail.

Andrei-Razvan TULEA – Theft

(ADDINGTON HIGHLANDS TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of theLennox and Addington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person following a traffic stop on Highway 7.

On Friday April 11, 2025, shortly before 4:00 p.m., police were advised of a report of shoplifting from a drug store in Renfrew. Police were watching for the suspect-vehicle and located it on Highway 7. Officers spotted the stolen items in the car and the driver was arrested.

 Andrei-Razvan TULEA, a 29-year-old, from Toronto, has been charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Theft under $5000 – shoplifting

Police recovered over $30,000 in stolen property from the vehicle.

The accused was held in custody following a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee.

Stolen Pickup Truck Recovered – Paul ANTAYA Arrested

(KINGSVILLE, ON) – Essex County OPP has charged an individual after a theft investigation in Kingsville.

On April 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., members of the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business on Dimar Drive in Kingsville, Essex County, for the report of a theft complaint.

Through the investigation an individual was identified.

It was determined the accused was responsible for additional theft complaints in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

On April 9, 2025, members of the Essex County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) located a stolen pickup in Tecumseh and as a result, Paul ANTAYA, a 36-year-old of Tecumseh, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Theft under $5,000 (two counts)

The accused was held for bail.

Approximately $20,000 in stolen property was recovered, including a pickup truck that had previously been reported as stolen from the City of Windsor.

Vikrant CHIBBER Was Arrested

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – As a result of an ongoing police investigation, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), have arrested and charged an individual in connection to a fraud investigation.

On April 9 2025, at 5:04 p.m., Officers responded to a report of a fraud at the RBC bank located at 4 King Street North, in the Town of New Tecumseth. The complainant reported that an individual came into the branch and provided a fake ID as well as a SIN letter trying to open an account under the fake ID name. The Caller still had the ID in hand and upon inspecting it the accused took it out of the callers hands in an attempt to flee.

The accused was described as Male, 5’8, facial hair, slim build, black shoes, khaki pants and a black jacket. Officers arrived on scene at which time the accused has just fled on foot, officers were able to quickly locate the male matching the description and as a result of the investigation,

Vikrant CHIBBER, a 25-year-old male of Brampton was arrested and charged with:

  • Use, deals, acts on forged document
  • Possession of an identity document
  • Identity Theft – obtain or possess another persons identity information
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

The accused has been released and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on May 8 2025.

Stolen Vehicles Recovered – GREENAWAY & FOWLER

(MERRICKVILLE-WOLFORD, ON) – Two stolen vehicles have been recovered and two people have been arrested and charged following an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU). 

On March 30, 2025, members of the Grenville County OPP Detachment attended a residence on Weedmark Road, in Merrickville-Wolford, for a separate investigation. While at the scene, officers identified two vehicles that were reported as stolen, from the Windsor and Toronto areas. 

The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at the location on the same date, and recovered the two vehicles. One individual was arrested in the area prior to the warrant. 

Mark GREENAWAY, 43 years of age, of North Dundas Township, has been charged with:

·      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – two counts

·      Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – two counts

·      Possessing automobile master key 

On April 3, 2025, a second person was arrested as a result of the investigation. 

Daniel FOWLER, 31 years of age, of North Dundas Township is charged with:

·      Trafficking in stolen goods over $5,000 – two counts

·      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

·      Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 

One accused was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody. The other accused was later released with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville.

Stolen Vehicles Recovered – SINGH & SINGH Arrested

(CALEDON, ON) – Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have recovered two stolen vehicles and charged two individuals.

On March 27, 2025, a stolen vehicle investigation led officers to a residence on Old School Road, in the Town of Caledon. The Caledon OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) was engaged to assist.

A search warrant was authored and executed on the same day and the following items were seized:

• Stolen 2024 Range Rover

• Stolen 2017 Nissan M3S

• A vehicle reprogramming computer

Jagveer SINGH, 21, and Kulwinder SINGH, 24, both of Caledon, were charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. The accused are scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on May 1, 2025, to answer to their charge.

Samuel KYAKUWA Was Arrested – Details Released

(LIMOGES, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit has recovered two stolen vehicles in Limoges.

An investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at a location on Limoges Road.

Street Crime officers and members of the Russell County Detachment recovered a backhoe, reported stolen from South Dundas Township, and a Mercedes which had been reported stolen in Ajax. The combined value of the vehicles is nearly $100,000.

Samuel KYAKUWA, age 50 of Ottawa, has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime-over $5000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on April 30, 2025.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Mcronald MPUNDU Arrested

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – Members of the Northumberland and Quinte West Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have recovered a stolen vehicle.

On March 24, 2025, at around 11:00 p.m., OPP received a report regarding a stolen pickup truck travelling on Highway 401 eastbound in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand. The vehicle was believed to have been stolen from an address in the Greater Toronto Area on the night of March 21, 2025.

Due to the direction of travel, Quinte West OPP were notified and a vehicle matching the description provided was stopped near Glen Miller Road where Northumberland officers assisted with the incident. Police also entered an impaired operation investigation, and the accused was transported to a local detachment for further tests. A search revealed a small amount of suspected Cocaine.

Mcronald MPUNDU (age 22), of no fixed address, has been charged with:

–      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

–      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

–      Possession of a Schedule I substance – Cocaine

–      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

–      Drive motor vehicle – no licence

–      Fail to signal – lane change

–      Fail to surrender insurance card.

The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.

Sara-Ann MALLETTE-WHEBLEY Was Arrested

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges after the recovery of a stolen vehicle.  

On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, just before 3:30 p.m., the Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system alerted a Lanark County OPP officer to a stolen vehicle being driven on Highway 7 west of Perth. The vehicle had been reported stolen in the Toronto area. It was eastbound and the driver was able to avoid numerous attempts to stop the vehicle. It continued eastbound at a high rate of speed.

 The investigation continued with a large police presence and with tips from citizens. The vehicle and driver were located on Ebbs Bay Road in Drummond-North Emsley Township. A female was located attempting to flee the area on foot. 

Sara-Ann MALLETTE-WHEBLEY, 29-years-old, of Terrebonne, Quebec, was arrested and is charged with:

·      Possession of property over $ 5000

·      Dangerous operation

·      Flight from police

·      Operation while prohibited

·      Common nuisance

·      Possession of break in tools

The accused was held for a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on March 26, 2025.

Darryl MCDONALD Facing Numerous Charges

(ESPANOLA, ON) – One person is facing charges after police stopped a stolen motor vehicle on Highway 17.

On March 21, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a stolen vehicle by the Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system. Police safely brought the vehicle to a stop on Highway 17 in the Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, and further investigation resulted in the driver being arrested.

As a result, Darryl MCDONALD, 35-years-old from Chilliwack, British Columbia, was charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Refusal to comply with demand
  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available
  • Drive motor vehicle with liquor readily available
  • Drive motor vehicle – no licence
  • Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
  • Fail to surrender insurance card

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on April 9, 2025.

Stolen Vehicles Recovered – Ghislain GALLANT Arrested

(SOUTH GLENGARRY TWP., ON) – A resident of Saint-Hubert, Quebec has been charged after stolen vehicles were found in a sea container on eastbound Highway 401.

Officers from the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) were conducting an inspection just before 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Curry Hills Scales, east of Cornwall, when they made the discovery. Members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the scene.

The two vehicles in the sea can had been reported stolen in Greater Toronto area.

As a result of the investigation, Ghislain GALLANT, age 63, has been charged with

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 – two counts
  • Trafficking in stolen good over $5000

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on May 7, 2025.
