Joshua ROBB Facing Numerous Charges

(ETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 15th, 2025 at approximately 08:45 p.m., the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle that was travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 17.

The officers conducted a traffic stop and it was determined that the driver was impaired. The driver was placed under arrest & returned to the detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua ROBB, 31, from Dryden was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs; – Criminal Code
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) – Criminal Code
  • Dangerous operation – Criminal Code
  • Drive motor vehicle -perform stunt-excessive speed – HTA
  • Unsafe move – lane or shoulder – HTA
  • Drive left of centre – approaching crest of grade – HTA
  • Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available – LLCA
  • Fail to have insurance card – CAIA

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on September 15th, 2025.

Wade LERAT Was Arrested

(DRYDEN, ON) – On August 14th, 2025 at approximately 09:45 a.m., the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a male that was sleeping in a parked and running vehicle on Highway 594, for over 6 hours.  

The officers attended and it was determined that the driver was impaired. The driver was placed under arrest & returned to the detachment where a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) opined that the driver was impaired by drug.

As a result of the investigation, Wade LERAT, 41, from Saskatchewan was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs;

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on September 15th, 2025.

Kyle WOOD – Impaired Operation

(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On August 16, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol duties on Highway 10 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands when they observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.

A traffic stop was initiated, and officers detected signs of impairment from the driver. An Approved Screening Device was administered, resulting in a FAIL. The driver was arrested and transported to the Markdale OPP Detachment for further testing.

Kyle WOOD, 33-years-old, of Grey Highlands, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, and Automobile Insurance Act Offences:

·      Operation while impaired- (80 plus) CC

·      Adult Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit HTA

·      Speeding 1-49 Km/h over posted limit HTA

·      Operate a motor vehicle without insurance CAIA

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 4, 2025.

Domenic BERNARDI – Impaired Operation

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On August 16, 2025, at approximately 1:45 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) along Bruce Road 23, Municipality of Kincardine.

A vehicle entered the area where police then spoke with the driver. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported for further testing.

Domenic BERNARDI, 37-years-old, of New Brunswick, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice on September 24, 2025, to answer to the charge.

Adriana QUANN From Kincardine Was Arrested – Details Released

(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Kincardine area resident with several criminal offences following a traffic stop in a “Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere” (R.I.D.E.) check on July 02, 2025, in the Township of North Huron. 

Just after 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 02, 2025, Huron County OPP officers spoke to a vehicle driver at an OPP RIDE check in the village of Whitechurch, North Huron. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton where they underwent testing with an OPP Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) officer.

Adriana QUANN, 36 years of age from Kincardine has been charged with:

–      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs,

–      Possession of a Controlled Substance – (two counts).

The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on August 25, 2025.

Gregory Haddock – Impaired Operation

(OTTAWA, ON) – Members of the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid impaired driving related charges against an individual from Ottawa after they struck a police cruiser.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on August 13, OPP members were conducting a traffic stop on St. Laurent Boulevard when the rear cruiser was struck by a vehicle. Officers suspected the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. A roadside breath test was conducted and the driver was brought back to Ottawa Detachment for further testing. The driver registered more than twice the legal limit.

As a result, Gregory Haddock, 45 years of age, has been charged with the following:

  • Adult operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Adult operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous operation
  • Driving motor vehicle while liquor readily available
  • Novice driver – B.A.C above zero

Haddock, who is a G2 driver, received an automatic 90-day driving suspension and had his vehicle impounded for seven days. Haddock is set to appear in an Ontario Court of Justice in Ottawa at a later date.

Robert WILKINSON – Impaired Operation

(MONTAGUE TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Montague Township resident with impaired driving.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, just after 3:30 a.m. Officers were on scene of a fire in Montague Township. A vehicle was observed driving poorly near the scene. The driver was spoken to, and the officers arrested the male and transported the individual to the OPP detachment in Carleton Place for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Robert WILKINSON, 36-years-old, of Montague Township, ON, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, September 22, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Andrew PANTLIN – Impaired Operation

(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) – On August 11, 2025, at approximately 3:58 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision along Sideroad 5 Elderslie, Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

Police attended and observed a single vehicle collision involving a hydro pole. The investigating officer spoke to the driver and detected signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Andrew PANTLIN, 45-years-old, of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – B.A.C. 80 plus, CC 320.14(1)(b)
  • Dangerous operation, CC 320.13(1)

The accused is set to appear on September 10, 2025, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.

James HODGSON – Hit & Run, Impaired Operation, Etc.

(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) – An individual faces several charges following a collision in Lambton Shores.

On August 6, 2025, just before 5:00 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Dolway Drive, near Outer Drive, in the Municipality of Lambton Shores.

Investigation determined that the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, and the driver fled the scene. Police located the individual shortly after the collision and they were safely taken into custody.

There were no injuries reported.

As a result of the investigation, James HODGSON, 18-year-old of London, was charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, and the Liquor Licence and Control Act with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Flight from peace officer
  • Fail to remain
  • Young driver – B.A.C above zero
  • Person under 19 years consuming liquor
  • Having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available
  • Person under 19 years having liquor

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Sarnia on September 15, 2025.

Jennifer WATSON – Impaired Operation

(BROCKVILLE, ON) – The Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged a driver after a member of the public reported a vehicle being driven erratically on County Road 29.

On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, shortly after 8:00 a.m., members of the Leeds OPP received a complaint that a motorist was weaving and unable to stay in its lane. Moments later, members of the Leeds OPP located the vehicle stopped on the shoulder. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was transported to the detachment for testing. The breath samples provided exceeded four times the legal limit of alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, 46-year-old Jennifer WATSON of Brockville was charged with two counts of operation while impaired, contrary to the Criminal Code.

The accused was released with a scheduled court appearance date. Their driver’s licence has been suspended 90 days, and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.

Jeremiah ASSINEWAI Facing Numerous Charges

(ESPANOLA , ON) – A driver is facing impaired-related charges after police received a traffic complaint.

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint on Highway 6 in Espanola. Police later located the vehicle driving 114 km/hr in a 60 km/hr community safety zone. A traffic stop was conducted, and upon approaching the driver, officers noticed open alcohol within the vehicle. Further investigation resulted in the driver being arrested for impaired operation.

The driver, Jeremiah ASSINEWAI, 24-years-old from Sudbury, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous operation
  • Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available – two counts
  • Drive motor vehicle, perform stunt, excessive speed (community safety zone) – two counts
  • Drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor – two counts

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on September 22, 2025.

Jonathon DUNCAN Was Arrested – Details Released

(NORTH BAY, ON) – Twelve drivers have been charged with impaired driving offences by the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in the month of July 2025.

One of those individuals was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop on a parked vehicle north of North Bay and observed signs of drug impairment.

On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the North Bay OPP conducted a traffic stop on a parked vehicle on Highway 11, approximately 15 kilometres north of North Bay. Officers spoke with the driver and determined the individual had consumed an intoxicating substance. The driver was arrested and transported to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing.

A passenger in the vehicle was arrested on the strength of an unrelated warrant. During a search incident to arrest, officers located ammunition. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a replica handgun, .22 calibre and .303 calibre ammunition, and suspected cocaine.

As a result of the investigation, Jonathon DUNCAN, 34 years-of-age from Peterborough, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – drugs

·        Operation while impaired – blood drug concentration

·        Possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine

·        Drive motor vehicle – no licence

·        Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Additionally, the individual received a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Further, James MCALLISTER, 47 years-of-age from Cardiff, was charged with:

·        Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order – six counts

·        Carrying a concealed weapon

·        Disobeying order of court – two counts

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to next appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on Tuesday, August 6, 2025.

Jacob Christopher YERREK – Impaired Operation

(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two drivers for impaired driving in the Town of Renfrew.

On Friday, July 25, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., while responding to a separate incident in the Town of Renfrew, officers arrested an individual for impaired driving.

As a result of the investigation, Jacob Christopher YERREK, age 39 of Renfrew was charged with:

·        Operation while impaired- drugs

·        Operation while impaired- blood drug concentration

·        Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused was released and schedule to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on September 3, 2025.

Later that same day, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Renfrew OPP responded to reports of a suspected impaired driver on Ma-Te-Way Park Drive, in the Town of Renfrew.

As a result of the investigation, Landon KIPPEN, age 37 of Petawawa was charged with operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

This accused was released and schedule to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on August 27, 2025.

Both accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles were impounded for seven days.

Joey LACROIX – Impaired Operation

(COCHRANE, ON) – A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driver was arrested for impaired operation after officers observed signs of drug impairment during a routine inspection at the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) scales in Cochrane.

On Friday, July 11, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., members of the Cochrane Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in partnership with an MTO enforcement officer, were conducting commercial vehicle inspections at the Cochrane scales.

During the inspection of one CMV, officers detected an unsealed bag of cannabis and determined that the driver had been consuming an intoxicating substance. The driver was arrested and transported to the Cochrane OPP detachment for further testing.

As a result, Joey LACROIX, 35 years-of-age from Moonbeam, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – drugs

·        Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to next appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 9, 2025, in Cochrane. Additionally, they received a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The OPP and MTO continue to work together to ensure the safety of Ontario’s roadways through proactive commercial vehicle enforcement and impaired driving investigations.
