Marc Belisle Was Arrested – Details Released

(COLLINGWOOD, ON). The Collingwood and Blue Mountains Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has made an arrest in connection with an incident on a Collingwood trail on April 16, 2025, where a young adult female was approached and threatened. 

Following an investigation on April 17, 2025, the officers of the Collingwood OPP arrested Marc Belisle, a 22-year-old male from Collingwood. Belisle has been charged with Criminal Harassment under the Criminal Code of Canada and was also arrested on the strength of outstanding warrants. Belisle was held in custody for a bail hearing on April 18, 2025.

The case was managed by members of the Collingwood OPP Crime Unit, led by Detective Sergeant Jason Lloyd. The safety of our community is our top priority, and the OPP is dedicated to addressing crime with all available resources to ensure public safety.

The Collingwood OPP Crime Unit has concluded that there is no ongoing threat to public safety related to this incident. We thank the public for their cooperation and vigilance in reporting information that assisted in this investigation.

The OPP encourages residents to remain mindful of their surroundings while using trails and public spaces. Stay alert, travel in groups when possible, and report any suspicious behaviour to police immediately.

Troy ROSS Facing Numerous Charges

(ORANGEVILLE, ON) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an Orangeville resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of a public complaint call for service.

On March 24, 2025, just before 9:00 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to a call for service in the area of Broadway in the Town of Orangeville. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the suspect had left the scene in his vehicle. Officers were able to locate the accused shortly thereafter. After a brief conversation, the officers quickly identified signs that led them to initiate an impaired driving investigation.

Troy ROSS, a 37-year-old male, from Orangeville has been charged with:

•      Unlawfully in Dwelling House

•       Criminal Harassment

•      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

•      Criminal Harassment – threatening conduct

•      Resist Peace Officer

•      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

•      Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code

•      Driving while under suspension

•      Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

The accused individual is currently being held for a bail hearing to address the charges. Additionally, the accused was wanted on a warrant issued by the Grey County OPP for an unrelated matter.

Luc BEAUCLAIR – Harassment

(WESTPORT, ON) – The Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested an individual after disturbing incidents in the Westport area.

There have been multiple reports since mid-September of a male masturbating in a parked car at a gas station parking lot, as well as following women in the community. It’s believed harassing behavior has been taking place since July of this year.

As a result of the investigation an arrest was made on October 20, 2024.

Luc BEAUCLAIR, age 37 of Perth Road near Sydenham Lake, is charged with: 

  • Criminal harassment – repeatedly follow, watch and threatening conduct
  • Committing an indecent act in a public place – three counts

The accused remains in custody at this time with a bail hearing scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024, before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville.

The investigation is ongoing, and officers are concerned that there could be other victims. Investigators want to hear from anyone who may have experienced similar incidents involving a man in a red Ford Escape.

Marie-Claude BREAULT Was Arrested

(SEGUIN, ON) – The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the West Parry Sound OPP Crime Unit and with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services have arrested and charged one person in connection with a lengthy Criminal Harassment investigation that started in 2020.

After the previous media release regarding the investigation, more victims have come forward after receiving anonymous letters with harassing content between January and February 2024.

As a result of the investigation, Marie-Claude BREAULT, 54 years-of-age of Seguin Ontario was again arrested and charged with:

  • Criminal Harassment – 2 counts

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on June 20, 2024.

Richard CLARK Arrested For Harassments #DontBeADick

(PETAWAWA, ON) – A Petawawa resident is facing a Criminal Code (CC) charge after a recent investigation by the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Police began investigating after the victim reported harassment at their workplace.

As a result, 57-year-old Steven Richard CLARK of Petawawa, has been charged with Criminal Harassment – beset and watch complainant.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and later released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on April 23, 2024.

Jim CORDEIRO Arrested Again

(PEMBROKE, ON) – A wanted individual is now in custody after being arrested in the City of Pembroke.

On the morning of March 5, 2024, members of the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located the individual and, with the assistance of patrol officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP, an arrest was made. The accused was wanted in relation to a criminal harassment and intimidation investigation after police and probation officers were targeted in January and February 2024. 

Jim CORDEIRO, age 41 of no fixed address, is charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:

  • Intimidation of justice system participant – two counts
  • Criminal harassment – threatening conduct
  • Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
  • Fail to comply with a probation order – six counts

The accused was held for a bail hearing on March 6, 2024, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.

Lyle JAN Arrested

(BANCROFT, ON) – The Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with Criminal Harassment.

On February 27, 2024 shortly before 1200 PM, Bancroft OPP responded to the report of someone continuously calling the caller after being told to stop. As a result of the investigation the police arrested one person.

Lyle JAN, a 68-year-old from Bancroft has been charged with Criminal Harassment.

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on March 05, 2024, in relation to the criminal charges.

Darin UDOWICZ Arrested

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Central Region Crime Program of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged an individual in Montreal in relation to harassment.  

On February 22, 2024, the Central Region Crime Program, along with assistance from the Montreal Police executed a Canada-wide warrant for the accused in Montreal, as well as warrant for the accused’s residence.

Darin UDOWICZ, 51-year-old of Dollard-Des Ormeaux, was charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:

·      Adult Criminal Harassment – repeatedly communicate

·      Adult Harassing Communications

·      Adult Intimidation – Justice system – justice system participant

The accused was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear online before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia on March 19, 2024.

David ALDRED Arrested

(BANCROFT, ON) – The Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with Criminal Harassment.

On February 02, 2024, Bancroft OPP had taken reports of someone receiving repeated unwanted correspondence over an extended period. Bancroft OPP arrested one person in an ongoing criminal harassment in regards to the investigation.

David ALDRED, a 69-year-old from Lake Saint Peter has been charged with Criminal Harassment.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on March 12, 2024.

Preston PLANTE – Harassment

(WAWA, ON) – A local resident is facing multiple charges following a criminal investigation. On February 12, 2024, shortly before 4:00 p.m., the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of harassment on Wood Avenue in Wawa.

Investigation revealed that, despite being warned by police not to, the accused continued to communicate with the victim of a previous incident. While being placed under arrest, the accused physically assaulted the two arresting officers. As a result, Preston PLANTE, 27 years-of-age, of Wawa has been charged with:

  • Harassing Communications
  • Assault Peace Officer – two counts 

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 4, 2024 in Wawa.

Lyle JAN – Criminal Harassment

(BANCROFT, ON) – The Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with Criminal Harassment.

On January 30, 2024, shortly before 1:30 p.m., Bancroft OPP responded to the report of someone being continuously approached by an individual when outside of their residence. As a result of the investigation the police arrested one person.

Lyle JAN, a 68-year-old from Bancroft has been charged with Criminal Harassment.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on February 27, 2024.
